Christmas in July

My bad.....!!!!!
I so forgot to schedule this post and watched the rest of Supernatural Season 5 (I think). Anyway Lucifer must have made me forget - at least that is what I am saying.

At Stamp Something this week we have a 'Christmas In July' challenge. I thought I might use this gorgeous stamp from Magnolia that my cousin Alleena stamped up for me and it is one of the stamps available from Simon Says Stamps - our generous sponsor this week. Enjoy you weekend.
Everyone in our house is sick including me. My poor baby girl has now got Croup. Ahhhh...!!! Poor thing spewed all over her bed last night coz she couldn't stop coughing. Damn thing. Hubby and I were hoping she would never get it like her brother Tyler but unfortunately it will now stay with her for the rest of her life. Such a nasty thing for them too. Take care everyone. Sending well wishes to anyone else who is feeling under the weather.

Wings of a Butterfly

Good afternoon everyone. I know it is a bit late but I really wanted to show you this card I made with the new Sweet Pea stamp called 'The Moth'. I love it. There is also 'The Dragonfly' but unfortunately my colouring of that one was awful so it was binned and I coloured this one as well. I do love all the details on these stamps and best yet is that it is in a circle so you don't have to work out where to cut etc.

I made this card for Sweet Pea Stampers. The challenge this week is 'Anything Goes'. So I dragged out my BasicGrey Origins DP which I have had forever and thought it was time to use it. I also decided to make myself a circle easel card. It is hard to line it up straight but it worked out well. I just love the sentiment stamp that comes in the set.

------------------------------------------------------
I am so excited about something is currently happening in my Spesch Stamps world. I am hopefully going to be going to the Paperific Fair here in Melbourne and sharing a stall with the gorgeous Sammi for Mad for Markers. I am over the moon. Now I have to work out whether I can actually go. Stay tuned. LOL. That is all.

Strawberry Delight

Hey everyone. It is Thursday so it is my Mad for Markers day. Currently we have a challenge of colouring white. I love this challenge as you can still do lots and lots of different 'whites'. The first has to be the way I did it - C3, C1, C0 and blender pen. Another way to do 'white' is to grab your E31 pen and go around the outside of the white area and with your blender pen blend inwards. This will give you a more vintage look. There is also the B markers. You can do clouds with B0000 and B000 to give a cool look. So the varieties are endless. Why don't you give it a try.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 21
Strawberries: RV25, 27 (my own mix), RV29
Hair: E35, 39, 29
Grass/Green: Yg23, G24, 26, 28
Other: BG0000, BG000
Dress: C3, C1, C0, 0 blender.

The DP I used is from MME, the lace doilie is from Chantelle at her Etsy shop Simply cards and Creative Bits. The image is a new one from Mo Manning.

Have a good one.

WOYWW

Hello again sweethearts. Ahhhhh the internet. What a lovely thing. What would we all do without it...??? I know I would probably be lost. Unfortunately mine is playing up today. Eeeeekkkk..!!! It took me three goes to upload the photo above and four times for the photo of my little girl. Think we may have run out of broadband.

Anyway. Here is my desk for WOYWW. My desk is neat as ever. I bet you are all bored with my lack of messiness hahaha. The picture standing up in front of my Copics is from The Stamping Bazaar called Shy Sammy and is available as a digital stamp. Go here to purchase her. Thought I would throw in a picture of my DD Ashley who is 2 & 1/2 yrs old but I swear she is more like a 12yr old. LOL. She thinks she is a model so this is her Model pose. Hehehehe. She is adorable but I am biased being her very proud mummy but wish she didn't take after me so much in the temperament department LOL.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp sketch

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well. I am getting better thankfully but taking my boys to the Dr today to see about their awful coughs. Hopefully something can be done about it.

Yesterday Shy Sammy was released. She is so cute. At least I think it is a she. A little Mammoth. Gorgeous. Pop on over and get you digital stamp now along with this little guy and Hansel with Flowers.

For this card I used the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp. Enjoy your day. Will be back soon with my WOYWW.

Anya Ink Xmas in July

Good evening everyone. Hope you are well. I am sick with a cold and OMG I feel awful. I have the worst headache you could imagine and I have blown my nose so much today that it gave me a blood nose. Ahhhhh..!!!! I have avoided it for 5 weeks whilst hubby was sick with it and then my little miss 2.5yrs got a runny nose and gave it to me. Oh well I will be okay in a few days.

Okay - my card. I made this for Anya Ink challenge number 5 - Christmas in July. I used my Santa Ian and the DP is from Teresa Collins. The circle stamp is a Teresa Collins stamp also and the Santa 25 is from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Fairytales

Morning everyone. Hope we all had a great night last night. Unfortunately we had a bad one here with Tyler 5yrs coughing so much that he was vomiting everywhere. Unfortunately the thing I hate the most in this world is vomit. Yuck....!!!! So after not being able to get to sleep and then woken up not long after falling asleep I am a little tired today. I suppose we need to look after our little ones but it is still a pain. LOL.

I made this card last night for no other reason than to make a card. I wanted to use this gorgeous Fairy House purchased from Make it Crafty with Spesch Stamps Crystal stamp (the Fairy). It worked out better than I had thought I could do LOL. I loved colouring this gorgeous house. Pop over to the Make it Crafty store and pick up one of the fairytale houses. You will love them.
Thankfully I am able to enter this card in to the Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge - Fairytales.
I think our fairy and fairy house fits in to that theme. LOL.

Something Flowery

Evening everyone. Hope you had a great Friday.

Stamp Something this week have a wonderful challenge of Something Flowery. I just love it. I had to use my DP from MME. This has to be one of my favourite lines that they have bought out and will be sad when I have run out. This stamp is Kei with Net from Spesch Stamps. I just think she is the cutest. I tried to create some clouds but didn't work out as well as my teamie Annika - the background star LOL. The cherry blossoms used on this card are from Wild Orchid Crafts - our generous sponsor this week. Why don't you pop in to the Stamp Something blog and see the other inspirational work from the DT.

Sapphire is here

Morning again everyone. Thought I had better get this card up before the Friday Sketchers challenge closed.

I made this card using 'Fluttering Sapphire Fairy' digi stamp from Make it Crafty. You have to go check out the store. Zoe has the most amazing background and house stamps and then some. They are all fairytale and whimsical but they are just so so so cool. Unfortunately I just don't think I could make them look good so thought I would grab myself the new Sapphire Fairy stamp. Enjoy the rest of your Friday. Will be back later with my Stamp Something post.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #2

Morning. TGIF. That is all I can say LOL.

Today I have a card for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #2 - A sketch. I must admit I love these images and they really are so much fun to colour. I need more to chose from though. LOL. Like I haven't got enough of my own to chose LOL. Okay so here it is. Hope you like.

Last nights Zumba class was so much fun and oh my a hell of a workout but I tell you so worth it. Hahaha. The only thing I didn't feel comfortable with was getting up to the front of the class to do the steps which made me look incredibly uncoordinated. LOL. I will get there. Thankfully they have a techniques class every second Thursday night so I am going to those. Yay...!!! If you get a chance to go to a class - do it.
Products: Kenny K digital stamp; BasicGrey DP; Nesties; lace ribbon; Prima roses; SU Great Friends stamp and Hodge Podge.

Little Angel on Cloud

Afternoon everyone.
Hope you are all having a good one.
Thought I would show you this gorgeous stamp by Marina Neira for
her new store The Stamping Bazaar.

This is 'Little Angel on Cloud' and is now available to purchase.
So cute.

Today is my day off from 'all' the kids but gosh I feel so tired still. I really have been meaning to have early nights and just never do it. I have lots of cards ready to post but can't yet as they are new releases for Spesch and lots of downloaded shows and movies. Phew....!!!!! If it were up to my hubby all we would do every night is watch a movie. No way darling. I think we have enough movies and shows to last a few months and then some. LOL. He really is hopeless. Anyway we won't be tonight either. I am going to my very first Zumba class. Really looking forward to it. I am probably going to do two classes a week if it is good. Wish me luck that I don't injure myself.

Just Magnolia Sketch by Bev

Hello. How is everyone....???? I am good. I have a roof over my head, healthy kids and lots and lots of stamps to play with. Life is good. LOL

It is hump day. Woot woot. So glad when this day comes around. Hehehe. The card I have to show you today is a card I made for Just Magnolia - Sketch by Bev. I turned it upside down as I wanted the 'Happy Birthday' stamps on either side and this fit best. I received this stamp in the mail on Monday. You know when you buy something on preorder and it takes forever and you just plain forget about it.....????!!!!!! Well I did that with this stamp. I preordered from Simon Says Stamps and forgot. I have also bought it from Bizzy Becs here in Australia. Oops....!!!! So I think I might have a little candy soon.

Inside of card.
