Morning. It's Thursday so it is Softpencil DT challenge day. This image is called 'Be Mine' (of course) and our challenge was to make a Spring card - you can find the tutorial here. 
Anyway - my card for this Thursday for Softpencil I made this birthday card. Our challenge this week was to use a recipe '1, 2, 3'. We could do whatever combo we wanted so I did '1 DP, 2 big balloon cut outs and 3 brads'. Nice bright card for a child I think. Have a good one.

Ahhhh ain't love grand. Of course this is perfect for a Valentines card so I went with it. The design element for the DT today was (now I deleted the email we got with this image so not too sure whether I have this right) 'Rhinstones, brads, eyelets'. Hope that is right. LOL. This week the DT were lucky enought to work with this image and the design element was to make a friendship card. I decided to stick to my usual bright colours. I love this DP from MME. Hey sweethearts. Wow it is Thursday already. Can you believe the days are just flying by already. As it is Thursday that means it is Softpencil Thursday. This gorgeous image is called '2 birds, 2 cats'. It is perfect for your Valentine's cards or any love type of card. The design element for this week was to use the colours 'Red, Olive & Cream/Ivory'. LOL. Now I love red and white/cream but was at a loss with the olive so I coloured the grass with Olive copic and the dotted border of the image and the Love sentiment I used an olive marker. The white brad was also coloured with a copic.
Good morning everyone. I know it is Wednesday but Elizabeth asked us to have our creations done by today so I am posting a day earlier than normal for Softpencil. This image is called ' We made a Snowman'. Isn't it adorable....!!!! I think so anyway. Our design element with this image was to use 'Glitter/liquid applique/flock etc'. So I did two of those. I used liquid applique for the snow under the characters and snowflakes falling and Stickles Ice Glitter for the snowflakes. I also used 3D Kindyglitz for an outline on the image.
This first photo didn't turn out too well as the Glimmermist makes it so hard to take a good photo. The one below shows a better view.
I made this box with SU US In Colors. Love these colours and the Thoroughly modern DP.

Morning all. It is Thursday so it is Softpencil day. This week we were given 'Simon thinking of Santa' who was designed by Elizabeth's talented sister Natalia. Very cute. Our design element this week was to 'Be creative' so I decided to make gift tags - these are absolutely perfect for them.
I loaded the images up in Gimp and added the text. Think it looks great. Punched out some snowflakes and sprayed with the Glimmermist and then a dot of Kindyglitz in the middle. Excellent - now I have 3 tags - one for each of my children. Ace. LOL.
Good morning all. Today is Thursday so it is Softpencil day. Now I will admit that I am in love with this gorgeous image. This is 'Michu is giving a gift away'. Isn't it just the sweetest....!!!! You need to check out the other cute Christmas images that Elizabeth has in store. They are just all so so so cute.
Now I am posting this so early today as some of you in Australia are already sitting in the cinema watching New Moon. So jealous but I will be seeing it soon enough. Woo hoo the day is finally here. Good morning my fellow bloggers. Today is Softpencil preview day. This gorgeous digital stamp is called 'Michu and his happy flowers'. So so so cute huh...!!!!! Our design element this week was flowers - either with flower DP, flowers on the creation etc. I chose to have the flower DP and once again used Cosmo Cricket Early Bird DP. I wanted it to be a bright card and this certainly is a great DP for it. The stamp comes with Michu with his watering can and the three cute flowers. Just love it to bit. I really enjoyed putting this card together.
Morning everyone. Okay okay nice and early but I am not really up doing a post at this time of the morning. It is scheduled. Hehehe. As soon as I finish a DT card I schedule a post so I don't forget. Yep I can be forgetful sometimes.
Woo hoo it is Thursday. Hump day over and it is Softpencil preview day. This week we got the Winter set from Elizabeth to make a 'Pop Up' card. Now I don't want to offend anyone here but OMG who thought of this one....???? LOL I have never made a pop up card and I really struggled. I just couldn't figure it out for ages - it was only when I was forced to make it (as time was running out) that I managed to get it done. I just couldn't. At least it turned out alright.
Now the house is all white as I wanted it to be a winter wonderland house. I was going to use my white flowersoft but thought it would make the card too bulky so went with a little kindyglitz. The large image on the front of the card is actually from the Little Girls Collection that happens to be the same little girl in the Winter set. I love love love the way this card turned out. The image (of course) is a Softpencil image and our design element was to watercolour. Now I will admit - I do not know how to watercolour but this image was coloured in with inks and my SU blender pen. Tip for you: if you want to watercolour digital images then print off on the card that you are using and then spray with hairspray. I left this to dry overnight. The ink on the image didn't run which is fantastic.
