Alice in Sketchland

Hello sweet blogging friends.

How was your weekend...???? Mine was pretty quiet. Didn't do anything special. Spent most of my weekend in my PJ's. LOL. It was nice to have a lazy one for once. DH went to the football yesterday and he wasn't going to go if it was raining but he sent me a message just after the game started to say he got pooped on by a seagull - bahahahaha how hilarious is that - it was for me as I didn't want him to go anyway. LOL.

I made this card with the sketch from Friday Sketchers. I just love it. Tanja did a wonderful job designing the sketch. I had to use my Alice Cullen stamp from Spesch Stamps. I love this stamp - mostly because Alice is one of the best characters from Twilight but all because I designed her myself. Of course you don't have to have her on a Twilight card - I reckon she is cute enough to just be on a card like this.

Products: Spesch Stamps Alice Cullen digital stamp; Bella DP; Nellie Snellen flower punch & emboss set; Kaiser rhinestones; Nesites; Dimensional tape; Copics- Hair/pants:Black, C10, C9, C7, C5- Jacket: RV13, RV11, RV10.

Flowers

Hello everyone. It is Sunday and it is Group 2's turn at Magnolia Down Under Challenges. This week we want to see FLOWERS on your creation. Flowers on the image, lots of flowers on your card or the DP, you chose. I decided to do all three. LOL. I really do like this stamp and decided she needed to be used along with my neglected swing by Magnolia. Go check out the other DT's work - you won't be disappointed.
Enjoy your day.

Brand New Anya Ink Easel card

Hey good morning sweethearts. Hope you are all well. It is the weekend. Phew....!!!!! Where do the days go. I reckon we need to have 3 day weekends instead of two. Would be so much better. LOL.

Anyway - I made this Easel card for the new revamped Anya Ink. I have been dying to use my new Roll Call stamps and this is the cutest one ever I reckon. LOL. I decided for this card to colour her hair with Prismacolor pencils and some spirits. Gotta love the DP from Sassafras Lass and I got mine from Delicious Papercrafting. This card was made with the Club Anya and Friends Saturday sketch challenge as well. Enjoy your saturday everyone.

Sketch Saturday with Spesch

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all well. I have been having a wonderful week. My birthday on Wednesday was fantastic. Thank you all who sent me birthday wishes and big thanks to Sammi for the gorgeous card and pressie and to Marcia for the gorgeous card. It really made my day and they are taking pride of place. Speaking of present I used my present from Sammi to colour Penny's hair. Sammi sent me some of the E50 markers to complete my set so I had to use them here.

Of course I had to use the sketch from Sketch Saturday. Penny does look wonderful with this DP from Sassafras Lass. It is one of the best ranges I think they have brought out. What do you think...??? LOL. Anyway - Penny will be available this coming week (1st June) as a clear stamp - Yay....!!!!! Thank you all for you continued support of Spesch Stamps.
With this card I airbrushed the background, ribbon and the flowers (can you believe they were white). The heart pearls were coloured with R17 once they were in place.

Edward and Bella digital stamps by Spesch

Hey everyone. Hope you are all well. Today I am showing you the Twilight inspired stamps Edward and Bella (there is also an Alice stamp available) that I designed a while ago. I was and still am a bit obsessed with Twilight so thought seeing Eclipse comes out at the end of June I would release them. They will be cheaper than the other Digital stamps in store. Hope you like. If you wish to buy these stamps head on over to our Website and you can pick them up for $2 each.

I have been told that I should do some Harry Potter inspired stamps as some people aren't in to Twilight (shock horror) so am working on that but don't know how they will turn out. Stay tuned.

On another note - it is my birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. LOL.

Just Magnolia Wk 56 - Jane's sketch

Another good morning to you all. It is Monday. Boo hoo. I really don't like the start of the week as we have Kinder for my eldest - Mr Tyler 5yrs at 1pm. I hate doing a drop off at that time. I wish it were the morning. No matter. He has such a good time at Kinder. I really think her is really going to enjoy going to school.

Now on to my card. To the direct left you can see a picture of a white star. I found a new product called Sparkle n soft. It is like velvet flocking but has glitter in it. Unfortunately you just can't see the glitter in the photo but you can see the texture of the felt.

I must admit I just love the new Fairytale range and keep thinking I need to buy that one and that one and that one. Oh dear. No more allowed for me at the moment. LOL.

Anyway, I made this card for the Just Magnolia challenge #56 - Jane's Sketch. I really loved making this card. The DP is also from the new fairytale range from Magnolia. I just think she is the sweetest stamp ever. LOL. Anyway enough babbing from me. LOL. Have a good one.

Friday Sketchers with TPS

Good morning. Wow it is Sunday. Can you believe it.....??? I am going to have super duper day today. I am meeting up with some old friends that I have known for 15years and one of them a little longer as I went to high school with her - lets say 20yrs. Hahaha. Gosh I feel old and will probably feel older after this Wednesday on my 35th birthday. Eeeeeekkkk....!!!! Man the time is going way too quickly.

Anyway hahahaha....!!!!! The card. I made this card on Friday night along with my card that I post yesterday with the new range of Lil Lolita's by Tickled Pink Stamps. I just am so in love with them. Kellie has a winner here I think. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers I made this card. I did use the same DP that I used yesterday too. I just love these colours - they are also the same as the ones on my favourite Bella DP too.
I thought I would experiment with Prismacolor pencils and some white spirits. So I got myself some and have been trying to achieve what others seem to make look so so easy - same as using distress inks and watercolouring. Now I can do this. It actually works for me but I am unsure whether I like the effect it gives. The Copic markers - on the left - look more vibrant. The only pencils I coloured on the image to the left was the hair and the hat. The good thing about the pencils with the markers is the spirits don't effect the markers (they do have to be coloured with the markers first or you will get wax on your markers tips and ruin them). So there you go - you can see the difference of colouring with Copic markers and using the Primacolor pencils.
Products: Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lolita Lylah; Kaisercraft DP; SU & AC card; Prismacolor pencils, Odorless solvent, blending stumps; Copic markers for skin; Green Tara and Kaisercraft flowers; pearl brads; Nesties; Kaiser pearls; Grace Taylor sentiments stamp.

CAF Saturday sketch

Good morning everyone. Today I have a card I made for Club Anya and Friends Saturday Sketch challenge. This would be the second time I have entered - unfortunately I haven't had time to make another until this week. It is funny how our DT stuff and life in general seems to get in the way. I got Roll Call on Monday so I had to make a card and I just had to use this Bella DP with this cutie. Ummm sorry can't remember her name at the moment. LOL.
In other news - my darling hubby and the kids have got me an air compressor to go with the Copic Air Brush System 3 (the adaptor and nossle (spl)) the my MIL and her Mum bought me. My birthday isn't until this coming Wednesday - 26th - so I am not allowed to use it until then. I haven't got the ABS yet either so I will have to wait for Sammi to order it for me and it to come. I would like to thank Jodie from Oz for giving me the link to shop here in Melbourne that sells them almost half the price of the 'Copic' ones. Hope that made sense. If you are in Australia and are looking for an air compressor go here.

WOYWDW

Hey everyone. As I haven't been creating stuff that I can post on my blog I thought I would
do a What On Your Work Desk Wednesday post.
Now I will let you know that these photos were taken yesterday but I like to schedule
my posts so hope this will do. It is probably considerably messier than this today.
My dining room table which is also my 'craft room'.
That's all my markers - including my Copic, Touch & SU. The trays to the right
hold my stamping card - Neenah and Express Graphics blending card, and at
the moment it has the lace/crocheted things I purchased from Chantelle.
In front of the trays is my printed off digital stamps and Magnolia
stamps that I have started colouring.

This is what sits behind me - all my SU card, my 12x12" DP, Spellbinders,
punches and Magnolia stamps in the draws.
This is what is behind the table.
Top: all my crafting magazines, 12x12" scrapbooking albums.
Next down: My business name certificate, my 8x8" DP packs, SU stamps.
Second next down: Beads, flowers, kindyglitz, stickles, glimmer mist, glitter,
distress inks.
Last (bottom): MM paper storer with 6x6" paper pads, Scraps of DP and also some of
my other 12x12 DP, Precious Moments stamps, SU inks, MM Slice machine
(behind the MM storer), empty boxes for altering.
Side view of the other shelves sitting behind the table.
Above the shelves I have the Ribbon rack my hubby made me for our anniversary,
my heat tool, Twilight Figurines (yes I am hopeless), lace ribbon.
Top shelves: Those black drawers hold all my stamps as well as my Spesch Cards (that
I could not possibly part with).
Next: Green box holds my buttons, DT Paper from MDU, SU Hodge podge set
and my flat flowers. Pink box holds all my flowers from I am Roses.
Next:Red box holds my Ez mount and lots of junk LOL.
Black box (can't see very well) holds bits and pieces.

Okay think that is all for now.
I won't be posting much as I am suffering from PND effects again
so haven't been that up to making stuff I don't have to.
see ya.

speschstamps.com release day

Spesch Stamps Website goes live....!!!!!!

Spesch Designer Stamps now has a proper website. That's right no more Etsy just a good old fashioned website to see all our stamps. Head on over and see all the stamps plus our new release.

Good morning good morning. Oh do you know how so very excited I am about today....???!!!! Very LOL. As soon as I got Christina to design an engagement stamp for my sister and her fiance I knew we had to do more. As someone pointed out to me (you know who you are) there aren't a lot of Engagement images out there. So we have designed another Engagement stamp, a Bride to Be stamp, Wedding stamp and a Mum to be stamp. You really should pop on over to the Spesch Stamps blog to check out the gorgeous DT's work and pop in to the Spesch Stamps Website to pick up the new stamps.

The two stamps shown below - Engagement and Wedding are both available in clear polymer. We have limited numbers of those but if you want them in Clear than you have to be quick.

Mojo Monday with Alice

Hey sweethearts. Hope you are all well. I thought I would get a card in before the Spesch Stamps release tomorrow. Speaking of Spesch Stamps - I thought I would use my Alice stamp for this card. I wanted to colour her in Pinks so decided this DP from SU was perfect and the sketch from Mojo Monday suited. I am also entering in to the Dare you to Digi Stamp Friday challenge with an Anything Goes challenge.

It has been one of those weeks and I am so glad it is Friday. I have been suffering headaches all week again and I got my eyes tested yesterday (as I wear glasses) but my prescription hasn't changed so it isn't my eyes. Unfortunately the downside of having these headaches is that I seem to be taking a lot of tablets but if I don't take them to get rid of the headaches it gets even worse. I don't want to take too many but if I don't I am in pain. Bit of a catch 22. Oh well. I am sure I will live.

Products: Spesch Stamps digital stamp; SU DP; SU card; Punches; pearl brad; SU Cameo Coral chalk.
Copics used: Skin- E000, 00, 21, 51; clothes - R14, 12, 11, 000, 00; shadows- C5, 3, 1, blender; Hair - E49, 47, 44,41
