Life's a Beach

Good day everyone. What a simply gorgeous day it is here in Melbourne today. Not raining NOW and it is sunny at the moment. Great to show you my ATC for Tilda & Friends Challenge with a theme this week of 'Life's at Beach'. I had to use my Tilda and tube from the Summer Stamp Kit from Magnolia. I don't know if anyone can remember when they were younger (at least in my childhood) we used to swim in the lakes and rivers with the inner tube of a car tyre. Hence that is why this one is black. It certainly does bring back some great memories.

ATC Recipe

Gosh I have been slack over the last couple of weeks and keep forgetting to do my ATC's for Tilda and Friends. This week or nearly last - the challenge was a Recipe - 1 Image, 2 Patterned papers & 3 embellishments. Here is my ATC with my new Nutshells stamp that I received in a RAK from the gorgeously talented Tammy. Hope you like.

No people

Talk about leaving to the last minute. I forgot that I hadn't done an ATC for Tilda & Friends ATC challenges. So I rushed this ATC with the Rachelle A Miller 'Hoo hoo' stamp. Gosh it was such a quick card and not happy with it. Promise I will get my ATC in real quick this coming challenge.

Stars and Stripes

Sorry but I just was dying to do this creation that I had to post this - another one for the day. I have combined three challenges today. Firstly, Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge which is US Independence Day or Red, White & Blue. Easy peasy. I loved doing this ATC. I used Edwin who gets neglected a lot so it was a welcome change.

Secondly, I followed this fabulous sketch from Mojo Monday with ABC Challenge which theme is 'U for United States'. I actually did this card specifically for my Brother-in-law who celebrates his birthday on 4th July. So it was perfect. I got to get three challenges out of the way and make a card for my BIL. Wonderful. LOL. Hope you like.

3D Fun

Back again. This week at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge the theme is 3D Fun. This is my last ATC for T&F as Guest DT and would love to say that I had so much fun. I thank Caz and the other DT's for allowing me to play along as guest.

I used some scraps with this card but did do some paper piecing for the books. I have been playing around with my SU blender pens and my inks and am getting the hang of it but not so much the watercolouring. I just can't work out the Aqua painter. Anyway Tilda is mounted on Dimensional dots on top of the books that are also mounted on dimensional dots.

It's Fathers Day....

It's Fathers Day this Sunday - I presume in the UK and US, Europe maybe. It isn't Fathers Day until September here. To celebrate this week at Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge the theme is just that - 'Fathers Day'.

I had a lot of trouble with this one even though I had lots of male inspired digi stamps by Dustin Pike. I got it done and I like it. Hope you do to.

Summer Fun at Tilda & Friends

Afternoon everyone. This week at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge the theme is Summer Fun. I loved doing this one. As soon as I knew what the theme was I knew exactly what stamp to use and what to do with it. I created sand/beach down the bottom and a beach towel for Miss Sunshine. I really love coloring her in. I put Dimensional Magic on her sunglasses so they have a shine to them. To make her stand out I used Dimensional Dots. Thanks for stopping by. Come and join in the fun.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Open Theme

At Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week's challenge is Open Theme. For my first ATC as Guest DT I thought I would do an ATC as a thanks to the Tilda & Friends crew. Thanks for making me a Guest DT this month. I feel very priviledged.

The Facts:

ATC is short for Artist Trading Card. These little works of art should be traded with fellow artists or given away, but never sold. The size must be 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches, or in metric 64mm x 89mm, and can be made in landscape or portrait.

At Tilda and Friends we like to use our ATCs as toppers for other projects, as well as swapping them with friends. We now allow you to use any kind of art work on your ATC as long as the overall feel is 'CUTE' - that includes downloaded images, decoupage, stamping, and anything else that fits with the weekly themes!

How easy it that. Come on, join us for a play. I swear it is so easy - all you need to do is chose some scrap paper that you may have laying around and make it into a beautiful ATC with a cute image. That's it. Anyway I am babbling.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge

Good arvo everyone. Hope we are all well.

At Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week we have to use more than one character. Hmmm this again was challenging. It is very hard to squeeze one onto an ATC let alone 1+ so I did my Ketto stamps by Stamping Bella. They are the perfect size for ATC's. I had to cut their feet off a little but you get the idea.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Make Your Own Background. Oh I had fun making this ATC. I have had the trees from Magnolia for a while now but not used them for anything so it was great to finally use them. I have also had Lille Skeete for ages too but I bought it for easter - unfortunately I didn't get it in the mail until after Easter so I haven't used it yet. Woo hoo. So happy I could use for something. My ATC. Hmmm I stamped the trees on a 2.5 x 3.5" piece of card and airbrushed the sky in. The grass was just coloured in with copics. The grass line were drawn in with fineliner pen and the clouds were made by using my blender pen and taking the colour out of the sky. The bunny was cut out and stuck on with dimensional dots. The birds were also drawn with fineliner. Phew. That was a biggy. LOL. Hope you like.

Well it is the afternoon here in Melbourne. My boys are at daycare so it is just the little miss and myself. She is sleeping ATM so onto the computer to post the ATC and hopefully I can make another card whilst she is asleep. I have been making cards but can't post them. Shhhhhh it's a secret. LOL. This week at Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge the theme is May Flowers. Great theme. I loved making this one. I used my new Magnolia stamp from Bizzy Becs. I used the Stampin' Up Patterns Pack II - Apricot Appeal colour. I also used Making Memories ribbon and Prima flowers and a couple of beads. I am very happy with the way it turned out. This is my second ATC challenge. I toiled over the last one and couldn't come up with a red and white ATC so I was thrilled I could come up with something for this one. Here is my Gorjuss Girl relaxing on her little rug. Hope you like.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge

This week the theme is "Chocolate", this can be in either colour or content. As always you can use any stamp, or style as long as the overall effect remains cute.

Hmmmm Chocolate. Gotta love Easter. Just another excuse to eat more chocolate.
With this ATC I used SU Chocolate Chip card, background stamp (with Versamark ink) & Scallop punch to look like someone has taken a bite out of the card, lots and lots of brown. Unfortunately I can't remember who made the other paper as it was so long ago that I cut up the paper (the manufacturer was cut off) that I just can't recall who it is by. The flower and brown rhinestone are by Kaisercraft. So lots of 'chocolate'. You will bear with me as it is my first ATC challenge.
