Just thought I would show you a fabulous photo of my little girl. One day when we came back to our cabin this huge butterfly was on one of the bushes outside so I ran and got the camera and I picked it up and it decided to land in Ashley's hair. She was really stoked.

I am back from holidays

Hey everyone. Well we are back. We are so thankful that our trip up to NSW didn't end in any flooding (for us) but boy was there a lot of rain up there when we went and can so understand why it is so flooded. Thinking about all those people in QLD who have lost everything in the floods and also to all those who have lost loved ones. So sorry for your loss.

We had a great time away but am so thankful to be home. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed. I have had the worst nights sleep the last 3 nights and if I don't get a good one tonight I think I might blow a gasket.

Happy Birthday Mick

Today is my gorgeous hubby's birthday. We are having a themed dress up party. Ghouls, ghosts & Goblins. I can't wait and everyone that is coming is very excited as well. Here is a photo of my hubby Mick just after the kids gave him his presents. He doesn't normally have a moustache but he is growing this for 'Movember'. If you want to donate email me. It is to help raise money for Men's depression. It is to raise awareness and money for research.

My hubby is dressing up as a Zombie so coz of this I decided that I had better make him a Zombie card. This is Zombie James from Simply Betty Stamps. I did a call out to the girls in the Simply Betty team to think of quotes etc to put on my card. Unfortunately I got them after I put this one on. OMG there were some hilarious ones in there like - You are my best friend, but if Zombies chase us I am tripping you. Great minds taste alike. This is my favourite - Zombies make great pets. They already know how to play dead. hahahahaha LOL. I love it. There are many many more that the lovely ladies came up with. Thanks everyone.

I will be back with photos of the party over the next couple of days. I think I will have a big hangover tomorrow so will most likely be Monday.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all going well. I thought I would do a SB LO on the weekend with these gorgeous photos of my DD at age 10mths. She was and still is the happiest child ever. She has the chubbiest cheeks and a smile that would melt your heart. I didn't use a sketch for this one as the DP sort of led the way. I couldn't find any DP in my stash to match the colours of my miss' top but I went searching in my 'to throw away' pile and found this DP from Grace Taylor. It isn't good for cardmaking but perfect for SB. I actually had some Artisan Elements up on the left hand corner but stuck out like a sore thumb so I removed it and stuck down this DP from Sassafras Lass. Hope you like. Enjoy the rest of your day.

2 Cute

Good morning everyone. TGIF. That is all I can say. It has been a long and tiring week. Hopefully the weekend won't fly by like normal.

During the week - well on Tuesday to be exact I was bored. I had done all my DT work and scheduled all my posts that I needed to post. What to do.....!!!!??? I decided on a scrapbooking LO. I have not done one for ages - just for the fun of it. The sketch I used was from MME blog for a challenge in November last year. Yep so long ago but I had kept the sketch on my laptop and loved it. I did however turn it on it's side.

Look at my chubba bubba. This is Lachlan. He is so cute. This has to be my favourite photo of him. He was always so happy and was always like this when he was a baby. Well he is a ratbag now and destroys etc now. Ahhh the joys of bringing up boys.

Congratulations Big Sister

This is my sister and her new fiance John. This photo was taken a while ago but when my sister told me she was getting married in July I thought I would get Christina to design a stamp based on this photo of my sister and her beau. She did an absolutely beautiful job. I sent this to my sister last week and she received it at the end of the week. Hahaha unfortunately I made the release day today. I have been itching to show you all this fabulous image. Now - one question.....!!!!! Have any of you seen an engaged image before. I don't think so....???? Hey sweet ladies. I just thought I would pop on quickly and say hello. This is a picture of my sweet girl Ashley. She is the best thing that has happened to me. She is my delight. She is also definately a mummy's girl.

I have been suffering from headaches and not feeling well for the last month so have had a lack of motivation. I think it may be time to get my neck (where the pain is coming from) checked out by the GP. Hopefully something can be fixed. Other than that things have been extremely busy with Spesch Stamps and all. I have decided to step down from Anya Ink as my heart just isn't in it at the moment. Hope you all understand. LOL. I am getting a website organised for Spesch Stamps also and am trying to get Clear Polymer Stamps organized as well. Lots of things are happening at once. I think I need to chill for a little bit. LOL. Have a good Friday everyone. I will be back some time over the weekend.

My very talented niece Jessica took the photo. It is one of my favourites of Ashley. She used a professional camera and used some kind of filter - don't ask me what. LOL.

Day 6 - 12Days of Sketches and FFF

Good morning. Wow what a wonderful Christmas we had here in this household. The kids were super duper excited and were - literally - jumping for joy when they saw all the presents from 'Santa' under the tree - especially their new bikes. It was a good relaxing day - no stress and just spending time with the kids and their new toys. Was lots of fun to watch them open their presents. Hope everyone elses was as wonderful as ours.

Okay okay on to my card. Made for The Greeting Farm Day 6 of the 12 Days of Sketches and also Farm Fresh Friday. I wanted to do a card like this of 'Jacob' for a little while and finally got him done. I just love this wolf stamp and love this digital stamps from TGF. The sentiment, paw prints and wolf all came from Artful Inkables. I just love these stamps.

Just thought I would show you a couple photos of my kids on Christmas day. Must admit that even though I would love to have a white Christmas it is so nice to be able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful summer weather on Christmas day.

Time to Celebrate

Good morning sweet friends. Hope you are all well. Only a week and Christmas is here. Are you all geared up for it....???? We aren't doing anything. We are just going to have cold meat and salad. We will have noone but us five here so it will be a nice relaxing Christmas this year. Woo hoo. LOL.

I got my Winter Kit from Magnolia yesterday. Was so excited and mounted them as soon as I could rip open the plastic. LOL. I really couldn't decide which stamps to use first so thought I would go with these - as I haven't seen anyone use these ones yet out of the kit. I loved doing this card. Why you ask....??? I love the simplicity. The DSP from SU is very simple yet stylish. I thought this would be a perfect card for either New Years or for a birthday card. The thing about this Tilda stamp is that I can just imagine her singing to Edwin whilst he plays the piano so would be a perfect card to give to anyone for any type of celebration.

Just thought I would pop in a photo of my birthday girl. This was her yesterday morning just after she opened all her presents. Look at that bed hair. LOL. She is just such a cutie and a sweetheart to boot.

Pigtails

Morning everyone. Just a quick one from me today. No card to show you. I think my Mojo has taken a holiday and I have no motivation to do anything other than my DT stuff. So sorry. Thought I would post a photo of my little girl about a month ago. She is much better with getting her hair done now but when I took this photo it was the first time she had the double pigtails. She doesn't look very happy does she - it probably is because she wasn't. LOL.

On another subject - I am a huge sci-fi fan and found out there is a new TV show spinoff of my beloved Stargate - called Stargate Universe. Woo hoo. So exciting. Hubby downloaded the first two episodes last night and we stayed up late and watched them. It was fabulous - so now on to downloading the other 3-4 episodes and then we will be caught up.

Off to catch up with some old friends today. It will be nice to get out of the house and see them both. I really don't see them often enough but when we do see each other it is like we saw each other yesterday. The best friendships you can have are like that.

About a Boy

Thought I would show you a photo of my hubby with my little girl fast asleep on him yesterday. Now you have to understand that she never sleeps on me - ever. I popped out for about 40mins and came home to find her asleep on him. So cute. So nice for hubby.

We have had some wild weather here in Melbourne. Our power went off and we have had 120kmph winds, hail and lots and lots of rain.

Just thought I would show you a photo of my little girl. She had a big crash tonight just before bed. She fell over in her brothers room and fell head first into the corner of one of the beds. Ouch. Wasn't a very happy girl as you could imagine. Fat lip and the egg on her head was huge (the photo doesn't do it justice).

My little girl

On Thursdays my boys are in daycare and it is just my little girl Ashley and myself here at home. She is nearly 2yrs old and is starting to refuse to have a sleep in the afternoon, much to my disappointment. LOL. This past Thursday she refused to go for a sleep and whilst I was on the couch on the internet she did this. She laid down next to me on the floor and fell asleep. LOL. It was hilarious and she slept there for a good 40mins. Lets just say she must have been very tired. Hehehe

For you MUM on Mothers Day

My Mum watched me making a couple of cards this past weekend and I think she thought it was quite interesting but she is not into crafts etc herself so I decided I would make her a Tilda card even though she would also appreciate a tradition - non pretty card. So here it is.

I am combining two challenges today as I seem to have lost a little of my mojo. Don't you just hate that. Magnolia Down Under Challenge which is a theme of Mothers Day Card and Stamp with Fun with a challenge of making a card that is 4 x 8". Pretty simple I think. So there you go. Hope you like it.

It has been one of those days today. I feel tired and run down even though I am over my bad cold now. I was sick of not being able to breathe thru my nose. All better now. In the middle of watching Supernatural tonight - good thing I can multitask and touch type at the same time as watching the tv. Must be a woman thing.

Good Friday

First and formost - my card. I purchased these little digi stamps from Dustin Pike yesterday. Love his illustrations - they are just so cute. I must say as soon as I saw his Fairygirl I had to have it and bought the other one that matches as well. I did the card 5x5" but should have done bigger so not too pleased with the result but she did turn out fantastic, as for the rest of the card - hmmmm don't know. I colored her in with Touch markers and Prismacolor markers. The star on her wand has Kindyglitz on it to make it sparkle and her wings have Dimensional Magic. I tell you these stamps are so versatile as you can print them any size you want and you could use them for various types of card - birthday, friend, etc.

Just the side view - not a good photo as you really can't see the dimension to her wings and the flowers at the side even in this picture. Sold to karen

LOL. I love this picture. I told Lachlan to smile and he had the silliest face so I told him to smile properly and this is what he did - a pout. LOL.

Blowing out the candles on his cake. He insisted that the top of the ship cake be pink for some reason. Oh well - it was 'his' birthday after all. I didn't end up icing the cake. Mick did it and he did a better job than I ever do.
