PTW Sketch #58

Good afternoon and TGIF. It has been a long week. From the toothache of the century which resulted in my tooth being extracted to our first ever Parent Teacher Interview for my eldest son. It has been a hell of a week and sure glad it is almost over.

My card. Well I made it with the sketch from Papertake Weekly. I love the simple sketches as they are easier to add more elements to it - hence I have added a flower. I used this fab stamp from WOJ. Can't remember it's name but the gracious Katerina from WOJ gave it to me as I purchased a few stamps in one go. Thanks for that sweets. Anyway here is it.

I used a Spica pen on this image but it is always so hard to see in photos. I took it in to the sun and tried to capture it.
Thanks for visiting.

WOJ Recipe

Good morning everyone. This is a scheduled post and hopefully I am sleeping in my bed right now underneath my nice warm blankets or at least getting ready to go out and get weighed and then off to the shops Yay.

This morning I have a card made with one of the new stamps from the Whiff of Joy Spring Kit. I made it for the WOJ Challenges which is a recipe - 3 Buttons, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon. I just had to use the MME DP I got recently. Will be bummed when I run out of this gorgeous DP.

I got a huge compliment from a fellow crafter and friend the other day and I wanted to share. This friend (yes you know who you are sweets) told me that I colour hair really well. I blushed. I was rapt that someone else likes my hair colouring. I try and it has taken a long time to get where I am but would love to say a big big thank you once again sweets. You really made my day. xoxo

A very merry Sketch Saturday.....

Good morning everyone. No I am not up this early in the morning. I schedule most of my posts these days - just so I don't have to worry about it when I am up and about. It is the middle of Sunday afternoon in fact and we just spent the last couple of hours outside in the sunshine. It has been beautiful weather here in Australia all weekend (at least here in Vic) and the kids have been loving it although hubby had to work very early yesterday so bit of a non day yesterday. Can't wait until his work has finished all their releases so our weekends are back.

Anyway - on to the card. I received this Whiff of Joy stamp in the mail during the week and decided it was time to start making my own Christmas cards. Must say that I can't wait to get my Magnolia Winter/Xmas stamp club kit so I can use them too for my cards. Ok - a bit off track LOL. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. Of course, in my usual style I turned the sketch. LOL. Hope we all had a wonderful weekend.

Whiff of Joy sketch

Afternoon everyone. Hope we are all well. Did you all enjoy the Softpencil Blog hop....???? Such great cards from the other DT I enjoyed doing the hop myself. LOL.

I made this card for the Whiff of Joy Challenge with this great sketch. I received a couple new WOJ stamps this week and was hoping that I would also receive my new Nesties that I bought on ebay too but unfortunately they didn't come so I decided to cut out the image and use my current Nesties. The sewing machine is the most fantastic tool for crafting which I don't use often enough - I just love stitching on cards. Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Make sure you come back tomorrow to check out my DT card for the first ever challenge for Anya Ink.

This card is for Whiff of Joy #46 - sketch to the right. I love these papers - can you tell - I use them all the time. Will be annoyed when I have run out. LOL. Nothing fancy about my card. Just made it exactly to the sketch. I must say though that the gorgeous crocheted flowers were made by my very talented sister Brenda. The one thing I can't do - knit and crochet - my sister can do really well. Thanks darling blister. Hehehe.

I was considering applying for the WOJ Guest DT spot but I think I would be spreading myself too thin. Maybe next call I am hoping I don't have too much on. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thanks a bunch

Well I was finally able to make a card for Mojo Monday. Woot woot. LOL. I was going to try and play along with the Verve sketch challenges but just didn't have enough time but I have the sketches and might use them later down the track if I need a sketch. I got a pressie in the mail from my new blogging friend Beth with lots of stamped images and this was one of them. I actually made this card to shoot Beth a thanks for the pressie. You are the best. Thank you thank you thank you.

I also need to thank Rowena, Kellie & Sammi for helping with the watermark on the photos. Big thanks though to Sammi who emailed me the instructions on how to do in Gimp. After doing it it is so easy - I don't know how I couldn't work out myself. Cheers.

Taking time

Hey my lovelies. First of all before I get started I would like to thank the beautiful ladies that follow my blog. It is nice to know that I have something to contribute that would make you want to follow my simple words and my cards. I have been looking at all yours as well and will continue to do so. Thanks thanks thanks.

Okay my card. I made this card with Whiff of Joy stamps. I love them and there are so many to chose from that this is the only ones I could manage to decide on. Love the fact that Willow can sit comfortably on the chair. I made this for a friend. Not any friend in particular. I was going to start making cards to send to a couple friends per week so they knew how much they mean to me but have not yet done so - so I do apologise.

I said i was going to post some pics of Stampin' Up cards. To tell you the truth I didn't get a chance to make one last night so I will so so today (I hope) and post tonight. I am anxiously waiting for another email from SU so I can buy some more supplies.

Products: Whiff Of Joy stamps; SU so saffron card; blue card (don't know where it came from but not bazzill); Touch markers; Heidi Swapp plastic alphabet; sponge dauber; Making Memores ribbon.
