Kraftin' Kimmie Birfday challenge

Morning all. Hope we are all well. I am cruising and have some very exciting things to show you very soon. Hopefully in the next couple of days or could be weeks (hoping not the case). I made this card for Kraftin' Kimmie's Korner - Birfday challenge. You have to make a card following the sketch of the card that Kimmie made. Phew that was a mouthful. When I made this card I had no idea it would turn out this way. It doesn't really look like what I had in my head but it is a nice card all the same. Have a good one.

Green and black

Good morning all. Just a quick one as I seriously think that I have carpel tunnel or at least a serious case of RSI so my arm is just aching. I made this card for the InStyle stamps DT call. I love this stamp - her name is Yuki. If you want her just go to Instyle stamps here. I got the idea for the border around the oval from one of my MDUC team mates Norma - here is the link. Okay said it was going to be quick. Have a good one.

:) Happy Birthday

Morning sweethearts. Well it is Monday. *groan* I so want the week over already and it just started. Saturday night was fabulous for those of you who were wondering. LOL. I had lots of yummy drinks, played lots of pool and spent time with some old friends that we haven't hung out with for ages. The birthday girl had a wonderful time and got suitably drunk hehehe. She loved the handmade card that I gave her. Woo hoo. LOL.

This card is one of the cards I made for my friend for her order. No challenges - just wanted to use this Edwin as he has been gathering dust. Enjoy your day everyone.

be mine .... always

Good Morning. It is time for another Anya Ink challenge. This week we want to you make a Valentines creation. I wnated to do something different to my normal bright colours and went with these fabulous soft pastels. This DP from BasicGrey is just perfect. I love it. I have had ppl ask where I get my Gardenias from - I got these on ebay. Don't know the person I am sorry but I just did a search on ebay and then I bought them. LOL.
This stamp is so so so hard to see. I can't believe that is didn't work very well but it says 'be mine....always' - very sweet.

1 sketch 2 cards

Morning everyone. I am having a good morning. I am so sorry if I haven't stopped by your blogs to comment but with dial up internet speed I just can't get your beautiful creations to load. I will have a busy day tomorrow catching up on everyone's blogs.

I have been busy making cards for the order I had from a friend. This is the last girl's birthday card I made and I have one more boy card to go. Phew. It has been a busy time. LOL. I made both these cards with the sketch from Truly Scrumptious. I thought I would see how different two cards with the same sketch could really be. As you can see they are totally different.

Hubby and I are off to a 30th birthday party tonight. It will be nice to get out and have a few drinks. It is my sleep in morning tomorrow (like every Sunday) so I will be making the most of it. LOL. I really am looking forward to letting my hair down.

Totally different story. At Christmas time one of my fellow MDU DT's Stephanne sent us all Hot Cocoa sachets to try. OMG they were the most beautiful things I have ever tasted. Yummy. I tired to find the Land O Lakes Hot Cocoa but couldn't find it here in Australia and sent them an email to find out whether they would ship to Australia. They won't but gave me a link to Genesee Valley Coffee Company and they ship all over the world. So I went crazy and bought lots of Cocoa. I tell you if you are searching for a good Cocoa and you can't get in your country get this. OMG just fabulous.

CAF Sketch

Gosh I can't even remember if I have posted this yet. I don't think I have. No matter. LOL.

This is for Club Anya and Friends Sketch saturday challenge. I really don't like how it turned out. I would like to thank Sammi for stamping this up for me though. You are a gem darling.

I am sorry but I won't be able to comment on any of your creations until Sunday as we have used all our downloads and it takes too long on dial up. Hope you all have a good weekend. See you back on sunday for Anya Ink.

Two cute Musicians

Good morning everyone. I could use more sleep. LOL. Doesn't help that I went to bed late - for me at least and then up again early. At least my kids are in daycare today but it is the last day there for my big boy Tyler who starts Kinder properly next week. I can't believe he is so grown up.

Anyway - my card for this Thursday for Softpencil I made this birthday card. Our challenge this week was to use a recipe '1, 2, 3'. We could do whatever combo we wanted so I did '1 DP, 2 big balloon cut outs and 3 brads'. Nice bright card for a child I think. Have a good one.

Products: Softpencil image; don't know who the DP and balloons are from; SU stamp; Brads from Tammy.

Another just because card

Good morning people. Hope we are all well this morning.

How do you like my new layout of my blog....?? I am not to sure about it yet but will see. I am in the process of getting someone to design a new blog header for me so hoping that looks wonderful.

I did another 'just because' card. I have had this stamp from Instyle stamps for ages now and hadn't even printed it off so I thought I had better give it a go. I like these papers from BasicGrey and they are perfect for this image - at least I think they are. Have a good one.

Celebrate today with Sketch Saturday

Morning all. What a glorious morning it is here in Australia. I must say that I am so wanting to get out and about today. Hope we are not all too cold where we all are.

This card I made for Sketch Saturday. I have an order for 8 cards - 4 girl cards and 4 boy cards so I have been bust trying to get some cards done. Hopefully I can get them done this week. Of course, I really think my Mojo has taken a small break. Hoping that he comes back soon. I just got some Papertrey Ink card from my cousin and I love it. Want to use some of it. It colours so well. Of course I still love my Neenah card too (which is a little cheaper postage wise).

I bought this gorgeous stamp from The Stamp Spot and have wanted her for ages. Woo hoo - finally got her. Hope you have a great day everyone.

My drawings

A little while ago I told you all about my drawings. I have always been crafty and one day I decided to grab a pen and just draw this top picture. Since then (although haven't done one for a while) I have been doing drawings like this. I guess you can call them abstract. I love doing them and started doing them again today. I love the one below.

Award

I received this award from the sweet Kellie and Cheryl. Thanks ladies. I really appreciate you thinking of me. I have to tell you all 10 things that give me pleasure and then pass on to 10 more people. Phew.
10 things that give me pleasure:
*Watching my kids sleeping. They look so peaceful.
*Getting something for nothing. It is always nice to receive something from someone without them wanting something back.
*Watching movies by myself. I can sit there in peace without a commentary from hubby and just soak up the movie - probably one of the reasons why I love the Twilight movies as he hates them. LOL.
*Crafting. I can't get enough of it. Every single minute of the day I am thinking about what I can do next. Yes I am addicted. LOL.
* Reading. I love going into my own little world - it is sometimes hard to come back to reality.
* Getting cuddles from my kids, especially my little miss.
*Getting kisses and cuddles from Hubby. Makes me feel very loved.
* The look on peoples faces when they achieve something.
* My son Tyler's infectious laugh.
* Achieving something that you set out to do.

Now I am supposed to pass this on to 10 bloggers but most of the people I would normally pass this too have already got this award. I am doing a cop out - I know. Meh don't care - in one of those moods LOL. have a good one.

It's Monday....

Wow it is Monday. Good luck to all the Aussies mums and dads sending their kids off for their first day of school for the year. So exciting. I will be there next year when Tyler goes to school. His first day of Kinder is on Wednesday and then he goes full time next week. Woo hoo. He is very excited - as am I.

Okay this card. Meh. I made it just coz I wanted to use this DP. I cut it up blah blah blah for another card but the image just didn't fit this DP. I don't know if it fits these images either but I have nothing else to post so this will have to do for today. No challenges for this card. Just because.

This week we have some awesome news. We are going back to weekly. Woo hoo. It is going to be mixed up though. Friday sketchers and a RAK

Wow it is the weekend already. Where did the week go....??? So many things going on that the time is flying.

Okay I have had these gorgeous stamps from SCACD for ages and have only used one of them. This one is from the Elizabeth Bell Sampler 2 range and this one is called Fashionista. Isn't she just gorgeous. I love her. Perfect for one of my good friends who is a shopping fiend. LOL.

I used this wonderful sketch from Friday Sketchers. It is simple and the way I love it as you don't have to go overboard with the DP but of course in my usual style I decorated the inside of my card. I had to use my new (to me) BasicGrey Origins paper that I got in the mail yesterday. Was so excited. I ended up getting three packages in the mail. This with papers from a SB store here in Oz and also one from 7 Kids College Fund with some new Copics - woo hoo and I also got a nice surprise with a RAK - see below.

When I got this in the mail from the gorgeous Tammy I was so stoked. Look at all that DP and those giant pegs - I had to wrestle them back from my kids LOL. But the thing I love the most is the stamp set and the box it came in. OMG if you could see it in real life you would be like 'WOW'. Thank you so much Tammy. I love it.
