Amore

I made a big boo boo in my hurry to make a card for the latest Friday Sketch Challenge. I made a card for this sketch which was actually our last sketch. I was so disappointed with myself - I was saying a lot of 'Dohs" in my house LOL. No matter. I made this card using our last sketch. If you want to join in this fortnights challenge go to the blog and check out the current one.

The sky's the limit

You know when you just make a card for the sake of making a card...???!!!! Well this card is one of those. When I went thru my Gorjuss phase a few weeks ago I made up this card. Yep the same photocopied papers as those cards were used on this one. I just couldn't think of a saying or sentiment that would go with it but alas I thought of something - so here is the end result. No challenges just a card.

This was made with one of the Gorjuss stamps by Sugar Nellie.

Simply Sassy Stamps by Sugar Nellie are having a Guest DT call - go here for more details. So I thought why not. I love these gorgeous stamps and I have 5 of them - wish I had more so decided to make a couple of cards with the sketch provided for the call.

This one made with Romantic Dreamer (I flipped the sketch).
This is 'Luv a Latte'.
I just love the way they turned out and hope the girls over at Simply Sassy do too.

Stamped Flowers

Afternoon everyone. Hope we are all well. I have had a busy week. My son started school this week full time and boy do I not look forward to the drop off and pick up. So many crazy parents and children and I am one of them LOL.

This card started out as another because card. I just made it as I love this image but couldn't find a challenge to use it with but lo and behold at The Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge this week the challenge is to use stamped flowers. Thankfully the gorgeous Sassy Girl here has flowers in her hair. Woot.

This gorgeous DP had the butterflies and I just couldn't bring myself to cover them up with the image so I cut around them and made them a feature on the image. Yay. I think it looks cool.

I am off to make some sugar cookies with my kids and 'hopefully' ice them with Royal Icing although I may wait until they are in bed. I will have to see.

The Sugar Bowl #52

Good morning everyone. Hope we are having a great weekend. It is Sunday morning and OMG it is nearly the end of January. Where has the month gone....?? Truly I don't know. My eldest 'baby' will be going to school at the end of this week. Eeeeeekkk..!! I can't believe he is now such a big boy.

Anyway. On to my card. This is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge #52. You can do a 'Love' card so I opted to do just that. This stamp is Elise and isn't she just the cutest thing ever. I have wanted this stamp for a long time and bit the bullet and bought her. I used my Bo Bunny DP and just love the colours. I copied the heart that she is holding and coloured two big ones for under the image instead of a sentiment. Enjoy your day everyone.

Just wanted to mention that the butterfly was cut out for me by Sammi. You are just gorgeous girl. Thanks for everything sweets.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 27

Good morning. Well what a wonderful day I had yesterday. I had the day off from the kids as they were at daycare and I managed to get myself some envelopes from a SBS that fit 6x6" cards or bulky 5.5 x 5.5" cards. Woo hoo. So rapt.

This card I made for the Sugar Bowl Challenge with another great sketch. The added extra for this was 'distressing' so I distressed the edges of the DP. You can't really see but if you click on the photo you will see in better detail. I have had this Manga Girl for a long time and haven't had the chance to ink her up yet. I love her and have so since she came out. Don't know why I kept forgetting about her -she is gorgeous. I stuck to my resolution and used up the rest of my Bo Bunny DP that I started last week.

Sugar Bowl challenge 26

Second post for the day. I will be posting something else soon. I have been busy busy creating over this holiday weekend.

Okay - it has been quite a while since I have entered a Sugar Bowl challenge. This was an easy card to do. I love the Gorjuss Girlz. So the deets of the challenge. To make something 'new'. I decided to use some of my new DP that I bought just this past week. I love this October Afternoon DP it is so cute.

Not much to this card really.

Hope you are all enjoying your New Years day. We are into the 2nd of January already. I can see that this year will go quickly like last.

A card and LO

Morning everyone. It is Monday already....!!! Wow the weekends go way too quickly. Thankfully my hubby has today off as it is Melbourne Cup Day tomorrow and we have a public holiday for it. They do call it the race that 'stops the nation'. Can you imagine all these people around the TV watching a horse race. LOL. Not too fussed about it myself. Might have to get lots of crafting in whenever my hubby gets out of bed that is. LOL.

Okay on to my card first of all. This is for The Sugar Bowl with a great sketch and please include: Lace. I technically don't have lace but used a border punch to make faux lace. I like the colours. I have had these BasicGrey papers for a long time. I am such a hoarder. I never want to use any of my papers if I like them. LOL. I couldn't find a project that suited but the Gorjuss Girls are perfect for this DP. I think anyway. Hehehe. Okay babbling.

__________________________________________________________________
I haven't done a scrapbooking layout in a long long time. I have some Cosmo Cricket Early Bird DP that I wanted to use for a layout and I had it all set out in my head but just couldn't find a photo/s to go with it so started from scratch. Again I have had these Making Memories papers for a long time but haven't found a suitable project until I found these photos. I love these photos as it was my little girls favourite thing to do. You would say to her "Oh my gosh" and this is what she would do. LOL. It was a classic and we got lots of photos. Hehehe. She is my gorgeous girl. I just love her to bits. I must say that it is not as nice as I would have liked. I have to get some scrapbooking MOJO back. LOL.

Okay - have a great day everyone.

Merry Christmas Fairy

Good morning folks. Oh what an awful week I have had with this cold but thankfully I am now on the mend and this cough is also going away. Nothing worse than that horrible itch you get in the back of your throat constantly. Anyways, it is the weekend. Woo hoo. Hubby and I are off to Gold Class cinemas tonight after we go to the Casino for a little while. Now for those of you who aren't in Australia - Gold Class is the premium movies with recliner chairs and service like you wouldn't believe. You can order your popcorn, food or drinks and they bring it to you and you have a little table in between the two seats. I am really excited as we haven't been to the movies for ages and especially not GC.

Anyway - on to my card. I made this card for The Sugar Bowl Challenge which is to use the sketch and make it a Christmas/Winter card. I so had to use my Manga Fairy. Even though she isn't actually a Christmas stamp I think she really is suitable. My Hubby thinks she is a bit too racy to be a Christmas Fairy but I disagree. I noticed after I uploaded the photo that I actually left out a couple of elements on the sketch but it is the way you interpret the sketch so I don't think it matters. Enjoy your weekend. I certainly will.

Sugar Bowl Judy's sketch

Morning everyone. Hope we are doing well. Well it is the weekend. Woo hoo. Don't you just love it.

Well - I have made this card for Sugar Bowl #17. The challenge this fortnight is homemade flowers and following this sketch of course. I love this image so had to use her and of course can't go past these gorgeous papers.

I have finally finished the Twilight books. Gosh it was so thrilling and had me at the edge of my seat and crying and getting angry (as someone else said they had also LOL). I didn't want it to end but I couldn't read it fast enough. LOL. What am I gonna do now...??? Apart from creating LOL. Oh what a ride. Fantastic. Can't promote it enough. If you haven't read it - read it. They are brilliant. Hehehe.

The Sugar Bowl #16

Good morning everyone. I am so relieved I managed to get this card done for The Sugar Bowl #16 - Marlene's sketch. I have had so many other things to do as well as reading the Twilight books (and still reading) so I didn't get a chance (so far) to get this challenge done. Glad I have. The optional extra - which you have to do if you want to win the 6 stamps of your choice - is Doodling. I have 'doodled' around the Gorjuss Girl and the card surrounding. I am no good at any other doodling so this was definately the best I could do. I had to use this gorgeous card and DSP that I received from my friend Tammy. How generous is she. Thanks so much honey. Too bad I don't have limited amount of it. LOL. Hope you like it.

Okay - so are you wondering why I have a picture of the gorgeous and delectable Edward Cullen on my blog. Well for one he is fabulous eye candy - don't you think - and two I am going to be
doing a blog candy to celebrate reaching 10,000 hits. Woot woot. I couldn't believe how quickly it got there and I am so thankful for all you beautiful creators who come and visit every day. I haven't received all the things that I would like to include so you may have to hold on to the end of the week. Stay tuned. Oh and the eye candy picture is also a hint of what is in the candy.

Products: Sugar Nellie stamp; SU US In Color card, markers & DSP; Prima flowers; Craft Affair pearl brad; White gel pen.

Sugar Bowl #15 - Gayle's sketch

Good morning everyone. Yep up bright and early with a post for the day. I must say that I have been absolutely dying to show you all this card that I finished over the weekend. I just loved putting it together and nearly forgot the lace. LOL.

I made this for the Sugar Bowl challenge #15 - Gayle's sketch. What a simple yet great sketch it is. Did I say how much I loved this card. LOL. The added option is Ribbon and bows. I went with the Lace but couldn't manage to find any ribbon that I could 'bow' up. These papers are K&Co Amy Butler range - do you think I like these ranges.....????
