Morning everyone. I am here with some inspiration for the new Challenge at Mad for Markers at the challenge blog - here. Thought I would use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp as I am trying to get used to colouring folds in clothes. Although I am getting better I do need some more practice. The sketch above it from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge.

Sunday sketch and Stamps by Barbara

Hi my name is Tracey and I am a sketch addict. LOL. I love my sketches. Can't you tell. Hehehe. Okay seriously I love the simplicity of this sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and thought it was perfect with this gorgeous Kraftin' Kimmie stamp - name is Isabelle. Isn't she the cutest. I coloured her on Neenah 352gsm from Mad for Markers. It would have to be my favourite card but there are a couple of issues with it. 1. It won't print on my printer so no digital images and 2. It does bleed a little but I am working that out. No over blending - which is a habit of mine. I will show you a couple of examples of me not over blending on the same card later in the week.

I tried to do a cloudy background and got the colours right but the shapes ended up looking like a bricked background. So I tried to fix it with a little success but not too much to my liking. Anyone I am my worst critic and I am sure it is fine. Hope you enjoy your weekend. Being mothers day and all tomorrow I am looking forward to a sleep in and some new slippers (which I do actually need LOL). Bye.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps sketch challenge

Morning. Yawn....!!!!! Is it bed time yet....??? Gosh today is going to go slow. I can see it now LOL. School holidays take it out of you especially when the kids have cabin fever from not being able to go outside due to the rain and cold. Brrrr....!!!!! Bring on Spring - Autumn is the pits.

Enough moaning. Hehehehe. Today I have a card for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Challenges. This week the challenge is a sketch so thought I would join in. I bought these recently fromStampin' Stuff (located in Australia). I have wanted them for ages so bit the bullet and bought them. Can't go past this cutie. So cute and her hair is just divine. Hope you like.

Sending you a note

This morning I thought I would show you a card I made just for the hell of it. LOL. It is sometimes hard to remember that we all do this for the fun of it so when I got this and another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps I thought I would make a card. This is Marie Antoinette. I just love that big skirt. As I used ribbons and a bow on this card it actually fits in the Stampin' for the Weekend challenge this fortnight.

This card measure 5"x5.5". I made this card to fit in to a little box I found at my local Haberdashery/craft shop and wanted to give it a go of decorating it. I am hoping I can get that done and post on here very soon. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Kraftin' Kimmie Birfday challenge

Morning all. Hope we are all well. I am cruising and have some very exciting things to show you very soon. Hopefully in the next couple of days or could be weeks (hoping not the case). I made this card for Kraftin' Kimmie's Korner - Birfday challenge. You have to make a card following the sketch of the card that Kimmie made. Phew that was a mouthful. When I made this card I had no idea it would turn out this way. It doesn't really look like what I had in my head but it is a nice card all the same. Have a good one.

Paper Piecing with KK Stamps

Good morning everyone. It has been a while since I had bought this gorgeous Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp so I thought I would check out the challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! and this week it is to Paper Piece. I paper pieced her skirt. I love this paper by Bella so used it again but this time I used the matching ribbon. On this challenge blog you can use any stamp you like but to be eligible for the candy then you have to use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp.

For this card I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. Was lots of fun. I love sketches - really don't know what I did without them. LOL.

I used my roses from I Am Roses and the little tea rose is from Stephanne. Chuck in a pearl pin and a heart bead and here you have the finished card hahaha. Enjoy your day.

Kraftin' Kimmie & Sketch Saturday

Hey sweethearts. Another day over. Another just begun.

Today I have made this card for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Challenge which has a challenge of 'Buttons' using this great sketch from Sketch Saturday. I loved colouring in this gorgeous stamp and can't wait to see some more. LOL. I am addicted to stamps - aren't we all.

Sorry such a short one but got Mothers Group today and going out for a couple hours. Have a great one.

Celebrate Today

Hello. Good morning. I will make this a short one as I am still feeling ill and this is a scheduled post. I was very excited when I checked my letterbox this afternoon (Wednesday) and found this in my mailbox as well as two others from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Aren't they just fabulous...??? So I inked her up and made a card for the challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps make something whilst thinking 'Birthday' as they are having a Birthday Pah-ty...!!!! LOL. So I made this card for one of my good girlfriends who celebrates her birthday next week. She will love it I think. We will see. Hehehe.

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday but in my usual style I turned it on it's side. I also decorated on the inside. I don't know about anyone else but if you are making a card especially for someone you feel like you need to make it a little bit more 'special'.
