Anything but a card

Good morning again everyone. Wow what a great show of talented ladies we had at Anya Ink last week. I am truly inspiration by some of the creations. Thanks so much for joining us every week.

This week we would like to see - Anything but a card. Now this is one of my favourite challenges and as soon as I saw it I knew that I had to make these. I made some mobile phone danglies. Don't know the official word for them. I stamped the images, coloured them and then photocopied on to the Shrink Plastic. When you shrink it the colours come out brighter that the printed picture so don't panic if the colour doesn't come out the way you coloured it. Pretty cool huh.

Go and check out the Anya Ink Challenge Blog and check out the inspirational work from the DT.

Products: TGF stamp; Shrink plastic; printer; Mobile photo dangly thingies LOL.

Easter Theme

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all well on the last day of the weekend. I wish the weekend was 3 days at least. It goes so quickly. LOL.

This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we want to see an Easter Theme. Anything easter. I love this Bunny Tilda stamp and bought her last year just before Easter but she arrived 2 days after - wasn't happy as wanted to make easter cards with her but I thought I would use her this year. Woo hoo. She is so cute. She is one that I will not be getting rid of.

We have moved addresses. That's right we are still running (of course) but have moved here, so make sure you pop over to the new blog and become a follower.

Will be back soon with my Anya Ink creation.

Products: Magnolia stamp; Cosmo Cricket DP; SU ribbon; Prima flowers; Big rose from Fran.

The Pink Elephant #55

Morning. Hope we are all well. We have a few sickies in this house including me. I had the worst headache yesterday and just got worse and worse as the day went on. Unfortunately my little miss wouldn't stop crying yesterday afternoon and said her ear hurt so off to the Dr. Turns out she has an inner ear infection. So she is now on antibiotics. Hubby went to a footy game last night and messaged me to tell me he had a headache and a fever. Wonderful. I went to bed at about 9pm but couldn't get to sleep as my head hurt so much - I was still awake when hubby got home at 10.30pm and then he kept me awake with his fever shivering. Not a good night. Hoping to get a better nights sleep tonight.

Sorry about another waffle. I made this card for The Pink Elephant with this sketch. I love it's simplicity. I also made this for Just Magnolia with a 'Birthdays' challenge. I thought I would give my DT stamp from Magnolia Down Under another look in. She is excellent for birthdays as well as Christmas. Don't you just love her - well I do at least. LOL.
Don't forget Magnolia Down Under still has 10% off stamps - for Aussies only.
Have a good one.

Oh, Alice!

Good morning everyone. Sorry I have been MIA lately but I have been busy doing stuff and I have a bad case of RSI so trying to keep off the computer as much as possible. I am sure you will understand. So if I don't come and comment on your lovely creations that is why.

Okay - Alice Gets Glam on the Oh, Alice! challenge blog. You have to take inspiration from the makeup set on the side. I used a digi stamp from Sassy Studio Designs - I love the Alice digital stamp. I left it plain as my MOJO was not there when I created this card. LOL. Hope you like anyway.

Friday Sketchers #90

Good morning. Wow it is Tuesday. One more day and my kids new beds arrive. I am so looking forward to it. My little girl so wants a big girl bed.

I made this card for Friday Sketchers. Again I had to use one of my new Magnolia stamps from Magnolia Down Under. This is actually my DT stamp - thanks Kellie I just love her. I must admit it is getting harder and harder to chose a stamp to use. I now have so many stamps and keep adding to my collection. My biggest thing is that I don't want to let go of my stamps - especially my Magnolia's. Hahaha. I guess something has to give. Can't have one without the other. So some of them will have to go very soon. Thank god for Ebay. LOL. Have a good day.

Just Magnolia sketch by JayJay

Morning everyone. Hope we all had a wonderful weekend. It was fabulously hot here in Melbourne. Phew. Glad it is over. But we got some important things done over the weekend - one of them being getting a bunk bed for our boys. Our eldest Tyler is so so excited about being in the top bunk. We now have to get him a push night light so he can turn it on and won't fall off the top if he needs to go to the bathroom during the night. LOL. Our DD2yrs is also excited as she will now have her own bed too. I am not sure whether she is ready yet but we will see.

On to my card. Sorry about the waffle. I made this card for Just Magnolia with this great sketch by JayJay. I, of course, had to use one of the new stamps that arrived from Magnolia Down Under during the week. Isn't she just the cutest.

Products: Magnolia stamp; Cosmo Cricket DP; I am Roses flowers; Nesties; SU Upsy Daisy sentiment stamp; Pin and beads from my local haberdashery store.

'Blue, Grey and Cream' - although I cheated a little as mine is more white than cream but I am sure you will all forgive me. I have been dying to use this DP from Cosmo Cricket for a long time - I don't think it is available to buy anymore it is that old. LOL. You're on my mind

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all keeping well. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday...???? Yep you guessed it my new stamps from Kellie at Magnolia Down Under store arrived. I was so wrapped but I was so busy during the day yesterday I only managed to get this card finished last night. I love this stamp - she is so darn cute. Of course these gorgeous Magnolia papers are also from Magnolia Down Under. No challenges for this one - I just wanted to make a card. The gorgeous roses I got from Fran and Stephanne. Thanks ladies.

Sorry I have been a little MIA. I have made a few decisions of late that have left me with a heavy heart but they had to be made. I don't know if you all noticed but I didn't have a Softpencil card yesterday. That is because I made a decision to leave the DT. I have a few things going on at the moment that are keeping me really busy and something had to give so I gave that up as it was a weekly thing. I would love to thank Elizabeth for having me on the DT and it was really an absolute pleasure to work with you and the other girls.

Stay tuned as I will be able to announce my new venture hopefully very soon. I am very excited about it - just getting really organised.

FFF with SWF

Morning everyone. I have made this card for Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm which has a challenge of Vintage Fun. I love Miss Anya Dressy and have used her many times and just realized I have also coloured her the same about three times. Just love her with this paper.

Over at Stamp with Fun they have this fabulous sketch this week so thought I would give it a go.

I have been so bored of late but have been so lazy to do anything - hence no card yesterday. It is going to be one of those days again today but the only problem is we are getting the house sprayed for ants so we have to vacate the house for 4hrs. Gosh I don't know what I will do with the kids for that long. You can only play at a play centre for so long. Hmmmm don't like my chances of getting the grocery shopping done with all three of them with me either. Grrrr....!!!!

Products: TGF stamp; Bella DP, ribbon; MS punch; SU card; Bazzill card; Kaiser adhesive pearls; I am Roses rose.

Love

Morning sweet friends. I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. We don't celebrate it here in Australia much as it is just another Hallmark Holiday. LOL. I didn't get anything and hubby didn't get anything from me either. We know we love each other. Hahaha.

This week over at Just Magnolia the challenge is to make a 'Love' creation. I thought I would use on of the So Jolly stamps that Christine stamped for me as it was one that I wanted but I think I got about 75% of the collection so didn't want to buy any more. LOL. Anyway I thought I would use her using the sketch from Friday sketchers. I do love this sketch and am betting that I will be using it again.

I must say that I have had a hard time lately of taking a straight photo of my cards. Doh....!!!!!

Be Mine forever

Morning. It's Thursday so it is Softpencil DT challenge day. This image is called 'Be Mine' (of course) and our challenge was to make a Spring card - you can find the tutorial here.

I did struggle with this card. It just didn't sit right so I ended up having to tape down the front triangle bit just so I could take a photo of it. I stamped up some Valentine stamps and just put some dimensional glitter glue and Kindyglitz on the red swirls. Hope you have a good day.

Kraftin' Kimmie Birfday challenge

Morning all. Hope we are all well. I am cruising and have some very exciting things to show you very soon. Hopefully in the next couple of days or could be weeks (hoping not the case). I made this card for Kraftin' Kimmie's Korner - Birfday challenge. You have to make a card following the sketch of the card that Kimmie made. Phew that was a mouthful. When I made this card I had no idea it would turn out this way. It doesn't really look like what I had in my head but it is a nice card all the same. Have a good one.

Products: Kraftin' Kimmie stamp; SU sentiment; Kaisercraft Devonshire DP, die cut and lace rose; Lace; Bella ribbon.

Green and black

Good morning all. Just a quick one as I seriously think that I have carpel tunnel or at least a serious case of RSI so my arm is just aching. I made this card for the InStyle stamps DT call. I love this stamp - her name is Yuki. If you want her just go to Instyle stamps here. I got the idea for the border around the oval from one of my MDUC team mates Norma - here is the link. Okay said it was going to be quick. Have a good one.

:) Happy Birthday

Morning sweethearts. Well it is Monday. *groan* I so want the week over already and it just started. Saturday night was fabulous for those of you who were wondering. LOL. I had lots of yummy drinks, played lots of pool and spent time with some old friends that we haven't hung out with for ages. The birthday girl had a wonderful time and got suitably drunk hehehe. She loved the handmade card that I gave her. Woo hoo. LOL.

This card is one of the cards I made for my friend for her order. No challenges - just wanted to use this Edwin as he has been gathering dust. Enjoy your day everyone.
