1st Day of Halloween

Hello again today. Over at Simply Betty Challenges and The Burtonesque Dolls
we have a fun Halloween challenge called - "12 Days of Halloween".
There are prizes for all those that enter. You have a full day to get your entries
in to win the prize.

Why don't you pop in to Simply Betty Challenges to see the full gory details.

1st day of Halloween: On the first day of Halloween my Ghoul Love gave to me; one Skellington Head! Use skeletons anywhere on your project.

I decided to use Tootsie from the Punky Teens collection over
at Simply Betty Stamps - can be found here.

The DP used on this card is from Imaginesce Hallowhimsy collection which
is from last year. I am spewing as I got this as part of a blog
candy but we can't buy the DP here in Australia. Boo hoo.

Anyway enjoy.

Spesch Halloween release blog hop

Good morning everyone. Oh how excited am I....!!!!!! I have been wanting to release these as soon as we received them from the wonderfully talented Max. These are the Goth/Halloween release stamps.

Hope you are enjoying the blog hop. If you have come from Renkata's blog than you are in the right place but if not please go to the Spesch Blog and start the hop for your chance to win some Prizes (see below).

Here is the gang being released today. From left to right we have: Winona, Halloween, Jasper, Rose and Max (yes named after the designer himself). I thought it would be fun to make a card with all the characters instead of making individual cards. Had to use the fab papers, flowers, buttons, and stamps that Amy gave me in a blog candy on this card. Thanks sweets.

Here is the blog hop list if you got lost:

Next stop:

am going to do something fun along the way too. I am going to be giving away three prizes to three random comments along the hop. The prizes are:

1st place will get 3 images of their choice,
2nd place will get 2 of their choice,
and the 3rd will get 1 stamp of their choice.

You have up until tomorrow 23rd Sept 11.59pm (my time) to make
a comment to have a chance to win.

Make sure you comment at the end of the hop as you may win from your comment
there as well. Enjoy...!!!!

Mad for Markers - Use a digital stamp challenge

Good morning everyone. Do you know how super excited I am....?? Hahaha probably not. I am bringing you a new challenge for this month for Mad for Markers. As host I get to show you the first creation for the current challenge which is to 'Use a digital stamp' on your creation. As host I also get to show you the creation I made with the Sponsor's product this month - Spesch Designer Stamps. As owner of Spesch Stamps I am giving you a sneak peek at the new Goth/Halloween stamps being released this coming Wednesday. This is 'Halloween'. hahahaha not very creative but she is so cute.

The prize this month is a $10 voucher from Spesch Stamps to spend on any of our products.

For those of you not familar with Digital stamps than I will give you a little information. This is just how I do it but others do it differently. I open up my image in Windows Photo Gallery, right click and copy the image. I open a new Open Office document and paste the stamp in to the document. You can resize to any size. Some other programs will work differently to this. If you want to be tricky and combine your images than you will need a photo editing program such as Paint NET (which is free) and follow these instructions here (a wonderful tutorial by the lovely Debbie P).

Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 21, 02
Cape: C10, 9, 7, 5
Hair: 100 black, C5, C1
Pumpkin skirt: YR12, 14, 15, 18
Top & Hat: BV000, 00, 02, 04
gloves/eyes: YG25, 23, 67
Cane: B000, 01

I will give you a warning and let you know that some inks on inkjet printers will run when you use your markers on them. To ensure this doesn't happen, sprinkle over clear embossing powder on the printed image as soon as it comes out of the printer and heat emboss the powder. This will allow you to colour in the image without ruining your tips.

Hope you like the sneak peek and get those entries in. There are a lot of Digital stamp companies out there with fabulous images.
