Alternative Christmas card

Today I am here bringing you

a very alternative Christmas card indeed. Today is

my Mad for Markers day.

Now some of you know that I am an 'artist' - I do drawings

like the one on front of the card below. Up until I had kids I would

do one of these drawings for my MIL for her birthday/Christmas

but didn't have time after the kids came along.

Of course at that stage I didn't have Copic markers either.

If you check out the pic at the bottom with one of the drawings

using textas. Eeeeekkk...!!! Thank

heavens for Copic markers. So here is the Christmas card

using non traditional season colours. This was done on the

Neenah 352gsm card.

Copics used:

Black Multiliner 0.5mm, BV29, BV25, BV23, BV20.

Another TGF FFF card

Hey sweet ladies. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did. I went out and had dinner with 3 of my closest friends and had the best time. It was good company, good food and lots and lots of laughs. Next time however I think it will be just us girls. LOL. No hangover here but we a couple of the others were worse for wear.

I made another card for Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm. As the challenge calls for you to use a different technique, embellishment or image so I decided to 'draw' my own background paper. Some of you may remember me showing you my art that I did a while ago. I thought it was time to try it with Copics instead of textas like I had a few years ago. With the Copics they blend well and look great with my art. At least I think so.

Here is the card I made with it. The photo above is upside down which I didn't realize until I uploaded here. No matter. You get the picture. I used one of the Creepy cakes from TGF. Hope you like.

Monday morning show and tell

Morning everyone. What a crappy weekend we had here. I was sick with a migraine for most of the weekend so my head hurt and I felt sick most of the time. At least on Saturday night I was able to sleep so that is one thing. Hubby is sick also - he has today off as he has had a high temp all weekend - OMG - I have never seen someone sweat so much - Yuck....!!!!!! At least my little girl was better over the weekend. Nothing worse than seeing your child in pain and hearing 'that' cry.

On to my card. Who do you reckon was talented enough to draw this....????? Hahahaha - Toot Toot. Blowing my own horn. LOL. Yep you guessed it - Draw this I did. I am trying different styles to see what works for me but I am trying to tweek my Twilight images.

This is more like a doodle than some kind of art but thought I would show you some more of my drawings. I used to have this hanging on my wall - hence the yellowed corners from the sticky tape. LOL. Have a good one.

A little while ago I told you all about my drawings. I have always been crafty and one day I decided to grab a pen and just draw this top picture. Since then (although haven't done one for a while) I have been doing drawings like this. I guess you can call them abstract. I love doing them and started doing them again today. I love the one below.
