Fairy Wishes once again

Good afternoon my lovelies. What an awfully dreadful day it is here in Melbourne but at least I don't have to do a school run due to the holidays although the noise and carrying on by my kids is driving me a little bonkers.

Anyway this card is for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop. I used an image by the very talented Sureya at DeviantArt. This one is called Little Leaf Fairy. I must say she was a dream to colour. What do you think...??? My 6yr DS thought her hair was very realistic looking and asked me how I did it and could I teach him LOL. Yes my boys when you have had lots of practice. Boy is he gonna be a Jack of all trades. Anyway. Here she is.

Preview Day 1 - Dark Fairy

Good morning my sweets. It is always a long time between posts for me lately but I have other projects that I deem more important than my paper crafting at the moment so I apologize.

Today at Spesch Stamps we have a preview of the new stamps by Max. This stamp is 'Dark Fairy'. I love her. She is not sweet I can tell you that. She is fabulous though and great to colour. Fairy Birthday Wishes

Good morning everyone. How are all the Copic lovers out there....??? Hope we are all well. It is still very hot here in Australia - at least where I am - good old Melbourne. Phew...!!! Bring on Winter. I am sick of this heat.

Today I bring you a card made with the gorgeous Wishes from Some Odd Girl - she is one of the Nouveau Girls and can be purchased in store at Mad for Markers here. I loved her the minute I saw her and knew right away that I had to buy her. Ain't she the bomb. LOL. Ok being pathetic I know but I do love this stamp.

This card was made by following the sketch at The Sweet Stop. I made the 'ribbon' by sewing a length of crepe paper down the middle and pulling one of the threads to ruffle it. I love how it turned out.

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you are all well. Gosh I must say that the weekends are going too quickly. As soon as I feel like it is beginning it is coming to a close. Oh well - nothing I can do about the time. What I do with it is what is important - right....!!!??? LOL.

Okay so quickly - this card was made for The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #118. I used a gorgeous stamp from Bizzy Becs - this digi is called Teddy Cuddles from the Once Upon a Time collection. I have had her for a while and she has in fact been coloured for a while too but kept forgetting I had her there.

Penny Penny Penny

Morning all. My Copic thursday so I have a card made for you for the new Mad for Markers challenge of 'Brown Hair'. I love this colour combo for brown hair so here is Penny (from Spesch Stamps) all coloured to perfection (LOL big head here). She would have to be my fabvourite stamps from our collection. She seems to be a lot of people's fav as we sold out of the clear stamps. Have a great day.

Why am I sorry....??? Well because I am not happy with this card at all and did not do this gorgeous stamp by Sylvia at Wee Stamps justice what so ever. When I coloured this image for this sketch - from The Sweet Stop - I had a different picture of how it would turn out. I don't know why I don't like it. Maybe it is the size of the Silver Fairy or maybe it is the colours. I can't figure it out. But to suffice to say I am not happy and thus I haven't completely finished the card. So a big sorry to Sylvia for not doing a very good job with this.

A close up. I printed this out a couple times and layered up some of the bits like the hair wings, dress and shin covers. I truly am not happy with this at all. I suppose we are our own biggest critics.

All I can say is "TGIF"....!!!!! I have my Copic Intermediate Certification on Sunday. Looking forward to that.

SSS108 with CC Designs

Morning once again. Wow have you noticed that I have been posting every day...??? Well I have some serious Mojo at the moment so taking advantage of that as much as I can, so that means making lots of cards.

I have had this digital stamp for a while but thought it was high time to make something with her. I coloured her up and then decided I would use the sketch from The Sweet Stop. I made it very simple as the papers are very busy and so is the coloured image. You can't see the sentiment stamp very well but is says 'Best Wishes'. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

After using a gorgeous stamp by Deb's Creations last week with The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge I decided to do again this week. This time I used 'Ally & Beeble'. Ain't they just the most gorgeous widdle friends. LOL. I turned the sketch on to it's side. Cut a few big flowers in half and stuck underneath the oval. The card is not quite as bright as the last one but I wanted to use this gorgeous DP by MME. Nearly out of it - eeeeekkkkk...!!!! The fairy sentiment was a freebie from somewhere but I didn't note down where.

SSS104 - Sketch with a twist

Good morning everyone. How was your weekend...??? Good I hope. Mine was pretty quiet but got lots of crafting done. Yay...!!!! I thought I would join in this challenge over at The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge seeing I bought this gorgeous stamp from Deb's Creations, called Kenz and Tilly. Although it is a Mothers Day digital stamp (also available as rubber) I thought I would make something for someone other than my Mum. I must say that my own Mum is not that 'in to' this whole crafting thing. Unfortunately she is the type of person who throws these types of cards in the bin after a week or so. LOL. Anyway. Here it is. There is Spica pen on the wings and in Tilly's hair but you can't see in the photo (as usual).

Something Punchy

Phew what a day. This is my last post for the day. Just before midnight. As we have gone to Daylight savings I have to try and figure out the time differences again LOL.

Anyway, tonight I have a card for you for Stamp Something with a challenge this week of 'Something Punchy'. So you just need to use a punch here, a punch there, a punch anywhere on your creation. I used my SU border punch and a flower punch. I just love this DP from Bo Bunny and can't go past this gorgeous image from ATS - Grumpy Georgia is her name. Ain't she just cute.

Make a Wish

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all well this Thursday morning. Yep today is Thursday. The days are really going so quickly. I sometimes feel like there is not enough time in the week to do all the things I want to do. No matter.

Today is Thursday so that means this is my Mad for Markers post. Yay...!!!! I loved making this card. I think this lovely looks awesome with white overalls. Have you all entered the M4M challenge this month of 'Colouring White'...??? If not, get your markers out and colour. LOL.

This card was made using the sketch from over at The Sweet Stop. Such a great sketch. And of course I used a wonderful clear stamp from Spesch Stamps called Birthday cake. I got these fabulous papers last week and couldn't wait to use them. It is called Pushing Posies from Bo Bunny. Nice and bright isn't it.
