Jasper

Morning everyone. Today is Thursday so that means it is my Mad for Markers day here on my own little blog. As Spesch Stamps is the current sponsor at M4M I decided to show you a card made with Jasper from the new release over at Spesch. He reminded me so much of Jasper from Twilight - yes I have been caught by the Twilight bug well and truly if you haven't guessed that already. LOL. He has his own little ghost haunting him (I think he is so adorable).

Simply Betty

ALL ABOUT BETTY BLOG HOP

The gals from The Burtonesque Dolls, Simply Betty Stamps and Simply Betty Challenges blogs figured it was a good time to put together a blog hop of our very own:

SIMPLY BETTY

This hop is ALLLLLLLLLLLLL about Betty and since October is Betty's favorite month and there are sooooo many exciting things happening, why not do it just before?!! This way we can get things warmed up for the whole October and Halloween theme. Kinda like an apple!!

And since Halloween is her favorite time of year you will be seeing mostly, if not all Halloween cards and we have used only Betty Emo's images.

Betty - thank you for being such a generous, warm, lovely blogging friend. You go out of your way for me and everyone around you and I am very thankful for that. Thank you for being supportive and encouraging in all our endeavors. Thank you for being you coz without you there would be no Simply Betty Stamps. Thanks for having faith in me and your gorgeous stamps. mwah mwah mwah.

Without further ado, let's check out some more inspiring and creative cards from all the ladies. Please note because this is an appreciation blog hop there are no prizes. It's just for fun but the ladies wouldn't mind some luving from you anyway!!

So LET'S GET HOPPING!! Your first stop is Cheri!!!

If you came from Suzi's blog than you are in the right place. I am the last stop on your hop. Thanks so much for the love and support you have given us along the way.

Candycanes all the way

Morning sweethearts. Are you time for some sweet inspiration....?? Hope so coz I have got some for you. At {The Lollipop Ladies} challenge this fortnight we have this yummy yummy picture of candy canes for you and 'Candy Canes' are also this fortnights theme. The added bonus is to make something for Christmas.
As soon as I saw what this challenge was I went straight to my TGF folder and printed out this gorgeous stamp by Marina Neira. Isn't it just one of the cutest xmas stamps you ever saw..!!!??? Well I think so LOL.

Maximiliano

Morning everyone. What a wonderful weekend we had here in Australia. Talk about beautiful Spring weather. Bring it. We had the Football Grandfinal here in Melbourne (which is the Aussie version of the Super Bowl) but it ended in a draw and the rules are the Final cannot be put in to overtime - WTF....?? Talk about stupid but they are the rules and it will be played again this weekend. God help me. Another Saturday arvo with my hubby MIA as he won't leave the lounge even though his team is not in the game. Grrrrr....!!!! LOL. I will stop whinging now. It was a lovely weekend. Went to the park with the kids and got out in the gorgeous sunshine. Bring on the Vitamin D.

This card was made with Max from the new release from Spesch Stamps on the 22nd September. Max is from Chile and goes to University and has a 'life' LOL so I thought this was a perfect stamp to name after the designer himself. Isn't he just the coolest....!!!!!! That is all.

Copics used:
Skin- E000, 00, 21,02
Pants- B97, 95, 93, 91

Autumn Colours

Evening. It is Stamp Something time. This week it is Autumn Colours for you. I thought I would use I believe I can fly Tilda and this Fall DP (can't remember who it is from). Throw in some die cuts from my Spellbinders and you have this card. Have a good evening.

Simply Betty Challenges #2

Good afternoon sweets. Hope we have had a wonderful week. TGIF. Woot. I am so glad it is the start of the weekend. LOL

This arvo I have a card for you for the Simply Betty Challenges - which is to make a new Halloween card with non traditional Halloween colours. So we don't want to see purple, green, black or orange. Get cracking coz you can win a fabulous Lola Mummy Rubber Stamp. For my card I used Chloe Princess digi stamp from Jude and his Shenanigans Crew digis. She was too cute to pass up on making a 'Too Cute to Spook card'. Chloe can be purchased here.

I seriously can't believe how quickly the week has flown. I have had a super week. It is school holidays here and apart from having all three kids home all day (only one is at kinder) it has been pretty good however the kids are starting to learn some house lessons that we should not be having to teach them - like no screaming, talking or being silly when eating at the table. Ahh sounds like an army mess hall in here and I don't have that many kids.

I have a Zumba demo that I am a part of this evening. It is going to be so much fun but I must admit that I am the type of person who does not like being up there in front of the public so hope I don't turn too red. My hubby and the kids are coming to watch me so am a little excited that they can see what I get up to every Monday and Thursday night when I drop everything to go to my class. It really is so much fun and I am slowly losing some weight. Not on the scales but certainly in the clothes you can see.

Have a great early evening. Will be back later with my Stamp Something post.

A rose is a Rose

Hey everyone. Just a quick one for now. This is Rose and she is one of the new releases that just came out from Spesch Stamps. When Max designed her and I looked at her I just imagined Rosalie from Twilight thus she is Rose. Hope you like.

Lace it up

Morning everyone. Today is normally my Mad for Markers day but seeing I did it on Monday I have today off. So in due course I have this Magnolia card I made for Just Magnolia which is 'Lace it Up' - so use lace on your creation. I loved colouring in Secretive Tilda from the Bon Voyage range. She is adorable. I used my new DP from BasicGrey (Cappella) that I got from The Stamp Spot. That is all. Have a good one.

Spesch Halloween release blog hop

Good morning everyone. Oh how excited am I....!!!!!! I have been wanting to release these as soon as we received them from the wonderfully talented Max. These are the Goth/Halloween release stamps.

Hope you are enjoying the blog hop. If you have come from Renkata's blog than you are in the right place but if not please go to the Spesch Blog and start the hop for your chance to win some Prizes (see below).

Here is the gang being released today. From left to right we have: Winona, Halloween, Jasper, Rose and Max (yes named after the designer himself). I thought it would be fun to make a card with all the characters instead of making individual cards. Had to use the fab papers, flowers, buttons, and stamps that Amy gave me in a blog candy on this card. Thanks sweets.

Here is the blog hop list if you got lost:

Next stop:

am going to do something fun along the way too. I am going to be giving away three prizes to three random comments along the hop. The prizes are:

1st place will get 3 images of their choice,
2nd place will get 2 of their choice,
and the 3rd will get 1 stamp of their choice.

You have up until tomorrow 23rd Sept 11.59pm (my time) to make
a comment to have a chance to win.

Make sure you comment at the end of the hop as you may win from your comment
there as well. Enjoy...!!!!

How many fingers.....

Good morning. Wow been able to actually post today. Yay...!!!!

This card I made for the hell of it. There is a friend I would love to give it
to soon so am hoping she likes it as much as
me.

Lately I have been steering away from lots of bulky
embellishments just so that I can fit in to an envelope.
I should really invest in a scorpal. Anyone sell them
here in Australia cheap...???

This is so fitting for my friend. The gorgeous Sammi stamped out
TGF Creeper Friday for me - thanks sweets and the
DP is BasicGrey Capella that I purchased
That is all.....!!!!!!!!!!

Mad for Markers - Use a digital stamp challenge

Good morning everyone. Do you know how super excited I am....?? Hahaha probably not. I am bringing you a new challenge for this month for Mad for Markers. As host I get to show you the first creation for the current challenge which is to 'Use a digital stamp' on your creation. As host I also get to show you the creation I made with the Sponsor's product this month - Spesch Designer Stamps. As owner of Spesch Stamps I am giving you a sneak peek at the new Goth/Halloween stamps being released this coming Wednesday. This is 'Halloween'. hahahaha not very creative but she is so cute.

The prize this month is a $10 voucher from Spesch Stamps to spend on any of our products.

For those of you not familar with Digital stamps than I will give you a little information. This is just how I do it but others do it differently. I open up my image in Windows Photo Gallery, right click and copy the image. I open a new Open Office document and paste the stamp in to the document. You can resize to any size. Some other programs will work differently to this. If you want to be tricky and combine your images than you will need a photo editing program such as Paint NET (which is free) and follow these instructions here (a wonderful tutorial by the lovely Debbie P).

Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 21, 02
Cape: C10, 9, 7, 5
Hair: 100 black, C5, C1
Pumpkin skirt: YR12, 14, 15, 18
Top & Hat: BV000, 00, 02, 04
gloves/eyes: YG25, 23, 67
Cane: B000, 01

I will give you a warning and let you know that some inks on inkjet printers will run when you use your markers on them. To ensure this doesn't happen, sprinkle over clear embossing powder on the printed image as soon as it comes out of the printer and heat emboss the powder. This will allow you to colour in the image without ruining your tips.

Hope you like the sneak peek and get those entries in. There are a lot of Digital stamp companies out there with fabulous images.

Kisses for Brenda

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was a very very lazy one, so much so that I cancelled on one of my good friends on Friday and spent a lot of time in my PJ's. LOL. Yesterday I decided to make a scrapbooking LO of this gorgeous photo of my sister Brenda and my little girl Ashley. This is such a sweet photo - it has to be one of my favourites from my sister's wedding.
The DP is from Papermania. Unfortunately it is only 8x8" so I had to think outside the box a little, but do love the way it turned out.
I have been looking for sketches for SB LO's and have finally found a great site that has just that. It is called Pencil Lines . If you are stuck for idea than this is the perfect site. I will try and do some of their sketches soon.

Bonnie on Swing

Hey everyone. Hope we are having a wonderful weekend. I am just super. Of course, I won't complain coz that is what I always do and you don't want to hear it. LOL.

Thought I would show you this stamp by Spesch Stamps that was released on the 8th September. I love this stamp and Bonnie's little bunny is so so so cute. The DP is the Jack n' Jill papers from Prima. I just love them. I must say though that for some reason they aren't cut square. Two of the cuts are crooked and you really have to cut them down. Oops here I go again - I can't stop complaining. Sorry. Hahahaha. Anyway here it is and you can get this stamp and the others released on Wednesday here.
