Shades of Grey and Green

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all having a great week. It is hump day so that means it is my day to post at Mad for Markers. I thought I would have a play with my new stamp from Crafts and Me and use lots of Green but a little grey and brown too. She was amazing to colour and she has Clear Spica on her wings but as always it did not come out in the photo. I used the above sketch from Stamp with Fun for this card. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Sketchy Colors #69

Afternoon everyone. Wow the day has gone so quickly. Before I know it it will be time to go pick up my eldest at school. Need more hours in the day - I swear. LOL. At least I got a new 'do' and feeling nice and fresh and light.

Today I have a card for you for Sketchy Colors #69. I loved the sketch and thought it was perfect with this Crafts & Me stamp by Jasmine Beckett-Griffiths. Such a talent (hence why I have a tattoo). I have had this coloured up for some time but kept forgetting to put it on to a card so I went through all my non Spesch stamps and found this. Low and behold it was perfect with the sketch. Can't remember what Copic colors I used. Sorry. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Friday Sketchers #143

This week at Friday Sketchers they have this great sketch. Nice and clean and simple, which is perfect for this stamp I used with the sketch.

This stamp is called Pink Lightening and is a new line of stamps that Crafts & Me are carrying. I love Jasmine Beckett- Griffith's art and this is one of her painting. There are many more painting - amazing painting. In fact I love her art so much that I got a tattoo of her 'Hope' fairy from her Hope and Despair painting (see photo below of the outline). Hope you like. I tried to colour her the same as the original painting and I did okay but could have been better.

The wings are coloured in with a black Copic Spica pen. So cool.

Copics used: Skin- E000, 00, 21, 02, 21 Hair - E50, 51, 53, 55, RV21, 23, 25, 29 Dress/stockings- RV21, 23, 25, 29, W5, W1. Wings- RV25, W3, black spica pen.

On a personal note - just letting you all know that I have had great success on my Zumba in Melbourne weight loss challenge - I have lost 5.6kgs in 6wks. So another 6wks to go and crossing my fingers that I win the mystery prize. LOL. bye for now.
