BOO

Oh gosh I loved doing this card for Doodle Palace wednesday. There is a couple of set for sale here this week and these gorgeous stamps are included. Gosh it is so much of a shame that we don't celebrate Halloween here in Australia as I would seriously do so much more of them. Enjoy your day.

Farm Fresh Friday - sketch by Cindy

Morning everyone. My mojo kinda took a hike over the weekend but seems to be back now. I 'had' to use my new My Guy Ian stamps from The Greeting Farm for Farm Fresh Fridays with this sketch by Cindy Haffner. I just love these papers by 3 Bugs in a Rug. They are not too masculine which is what I like about them.

I watched 'The Vampire Diaries' last night and I love it. So Twilight inspired but so much more raw - not too much like a love story. Has anyone else watched it....????

Anya Ink is coming this weekend

Anya Ink has arrived on Aussie shores and the challenges are due to come thick and fast in the next few weeks.

This blog is for all those challenge obsessed Anya & Co fans out there, who want inspiration and an excuse to ink up their TGF stamps.

We aren't looking for just cards, but want to see how you use your stamps.

So add yourself to the faves, become a fan and don't miss our first challenge on October 4th.

Queen Serenity

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. I went the whole weekend not making one thing. LOL. I just didn't have the motivation to do anything. I coloured this lineart 'Queen Serenity' by Catzilla during the week last week. I was practicing my coloring with my Copics especially blacks. I was going to do her hair black too but thought it would look funny so decided to do her hair white and unfortunately I wanted her wings that colour too so I went for pink hair instead hahaha. Just couldn't make up my mind. I toiled with this image all last night trying to get it to fit with a sketch with no luck. I think it is just that the image has so much detail that you can't do much with them so here it is. A very plain card with a fabulous image. Enjoy your day.

Buttons

Morning everyone. Hope we are all enjoying our weekend. It is my besties birthday today. Happy Birthday Donna - hope you had a great party yesterday.

I made this card for Magnolia Down Under Challenges Wk 23 - 'Buttons'. I am so loving how this card turned out. The original challenge theme was to make a card with Purple and buttons but was changed to Buttons but I thought I would stick to the original theme. I used BasicGrey Wisteria DP and buttons for this card and the ribbon is the US In Colors. Hope we are having a good day.

Red, White & Grey

Woo hoo it is Saturday. Can you feel it.....???? Hmmm it is the Aussie Rules Football Grandfinal today. It is similar to the Super Bowl but with a different type of football. Even though my team is not in the final I tell you what it is still such a big day here in Australia. Everybody has BBQ's, drink a lot of alcohol and spend time with friends. We are off to my besties place for a Birthday celebration (her birthday is tomorrow) to watch the footy and hopefully have me a couple of drinks. Of course it is supposed to be - get this - 14 degrees celsius but they are predicting that it will drop down to 9degrees from 2pm - 4pm. Brrrrrrr......!!!! Coldest footy grandfinal day on history.

Okay on to my card. I started making this for Papertake Weekly Challenge and so wanted to enter into the Just Magnolia challenge this week but the red just wasn't pink enough so I can't put into that. I must admit that I absolutely love the Fall stamps from Magnolia especially this cutie. On the dinner plate she is just too cute.

Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Funky Flowers

Hey everyone. I actually scheduled this post decided I would post it today instead of tomorrow.

I made this card for Anyone for Anya?? with a challenge this week of Funky Flowers - use flowers on your creation. I thought I would use my 3 Bugs in a Rug DP that has been sitting there for a little while. I love the little birdies in the cages. I decided to decorate the inside which I haven't done much of lately. It is so nice to get something like this done. Fun fun fun. Enjoy your Thursday everyone.

Emboss It...........!!!!!!!

Good morning. Ahhhh it is Tuesday. Not quite hump day. Grrrr....!!!! LOL.

I made this card for Farm Fresh Friday challenge at The Greeting Farm with a challenge this week of 'Emboss It'. Now I thought I would keep this plain. No patterned paper what so ever. Just embossed card. I just love this embossing folder by Cuttlebug.

Not having a good week so far. Yesterday was a shocker. I ran into my neighbors car, scraping all down the side of our car and damaging their back bumper. I was too concerned about hitting the car across the road that I didn't notice that the car next door was parked so close to our driveway. Grrrr....!!!! I guess if that is the only accident I have had in the last 9yrs than I should be thankful but it was still annoying and I am sure it was for them too. Hope the rest of the week (for me) is a lot better.

Kellie's sketch reminder

Good morning everyone. I just thought I would post a reminder of Kellie's sketch challenge. The prize is a $10 voucher from Softpencil. I love this sketch and I am sure you do too. Have a go - would love to see what you create.
I must say that I was totally out of my comfort zone when I did this card. It has been such a long time since I did a SU card. I used the Thoroughly Modern DSP from SU US catalogue (not available in Australia). It is the best DSP - so bright. I used my Eastern Blooms and Wow Flowers stamp sets for the images and of course my new US In Colors markers for the flowers and sentiment. Enjoy your day.

Citronella For You

Happy sunday everyone. Hope our weekends are going really well. Lots of tantrums and tears here today LOL. Kids - who would have them....??? Hahaha

I am finding it difficult to think of names for my posts. Hahaha want something original but can never seem to think of anything. Anyway - on to the card. This was made for Just Magnolia Bev's Sketch. I used the last of my K&Co Citronella DP woo hoo. It takes a while. I have had this stamp since they sent the Summer kits and you all know how long ago that was and have never inked her up and coloured her.

Hopefully the rest of my day and weekend is a long one. I don't know about anyone else but the older I get the faster the time seems to go.

My sisters first card

Just had to proudly show off my sister Brenda's first card she made. She made it for her boyfriend and sent an email with a pic of it to show me and I had to show it off. I think she did a great job with her first card and with limited supplies. Well done sis.

Hello Hugh....!!!!

Don't know if you have noticed but I have gone completely TGF crazy lately. LOL. I love these images and can't get enough of them. I have had Hugh since the Sept 1st release and haven't had a chance to ink him up so was glad I could get on it now.

I made this card for Friday Sketchers with this great sketch. I just had to use the US In Colors that a wonderful US friend sent to me as a gift. Aren't I just lucky. Had to get the Thoroughly Modern DSP too to go with it. Enjoy your weekend.

Pink, White &.......

......Grey.

At Anyone for Anya? this week they have a colour challenge - Pink, White &..... (any colour you want). So I went for Grey. So am still loving these Walk in the Park DSP from Stampin' Up. I combined the challenge with this sketch from Stamp with Fun.

Well it is Friday. Yay...!!!! So look forward to the weekend - especially seeing it is Spring here in Australia well and truly with gorgeous days and cool nights which is sooooo nice. Hahaha. Hard to believe it was freezing cold here the same time last week but hey not complaining. So I am looking forward to some outdoor action of playing with the kids and soaking up the sun. Enjoy your weekend.
