My big news and a sneek peek

Have any of you guessed yet....???? I know some of you already know - as I have told you and some of you have hinted. That's right I am opening my own Digital stamp store. At this stage it will be called 'Spesch Stamps' but I don't know about it. What do you all think....??? I was thinking more along the lines of 'Speschly for You'. Let me know. My hubby came up with the first one. Hahaha. I have been working with some very talented ladies to get some designs done. I have an extra special designer who whipped this one up in an afternoon - how spesch is she LOL. She is a doll and I can't wait to introduce her to you all. Of course I will be putting my own designs on my site (which I have to get up and running).

Before I forget - I have a couple of super talented DT members already. You should see what they have come up with. I will also introduce them to you very soon. Very excited about that. Oh and "Yes" I will be doing a DT call - soon. Very soon. LOL.

So what do you think of Alice....??? She is super cute right....!!!!!! I couldn't wait to use her on the Oh, Alice...!!!!! challenge this week, with a fab sketch. Oops sorry forgot to put up but you can check it out yourself. If you want this gorgeous stamp - just email me your paypal details and I will send an invoice.

What do you think of the half circle...???? I did that myself. Woo hoo. I love tooting my own horn. Oh and Alice is just wonderful to colour too. She is $3US.

Two cute Musicians

Good morning everyone. I could use more sleep. LOL. Doesn't help that I went to bed late - for me at least and then up again early. At least my kids are in daycare today but it is the last day there for my big boy Tyler who starts Kinder properly next week. I can't believe he is so grown up.

Anyway - my card for this Thursday for Softpencil I made this birthday card. Our challenge this week was to use a recipe '1, 2, 3'. We could do whatever combo we wanted so I did '1 DP, 2 big balloon cut outs and 3 brads'. Nice bright card for a child I think. Have a good one.

Products: Softpencil image; don't know who the DP and balloons are from; SU stamp; Brads from Tammy.

Another just because card

Good morning people. Hope we are all well this morning.

How do you like my new layout of my blog....?? I am not to sure about it yet but will see. I am in the process of getting someone to design a new blog header for me so hoping that looks wonderful.

I did another 'just because' card. I have had this stamp from Instyle stamps for ages now and hadn't even printed it off so I thought I had better give it a go. I like these papers from BasicGrey and they are perfect for this image - at least I think they are. Have a good one.

Michu and Michula

Good morning my sweet blogging friends. Hope you are all well this glorious day. It is Thursday so that means it is Softpencil day. This gorgeous image is called 'Michu & Michula'. Ahhhh ain't love grand. Of course this is perfect for a Valentines card so I went with it. The design element for the DT today was (now I deleted the email we got with this image so not too sure whether I have this right) 'Rhinstones, brads, eyelets'. Hope that is right. LOL. Enjoy your day.

My little man Tyler has his Kinder interview today and he starts Kinder next week. OMG. My little boy is so grown up now.

TGF CHA Relay - Toby Bear

Hey sweethearts. What a great day. It is hump day here in Oz already. It is always funny that there is such a time difference between the world. I just always imagine that everyone is on the same time. Anyway.

This card was made with The Greeting Farm Toby Bear - the third image available for the CHA Relay. What do you reckon....???? Pretty cute huh. Sorry about the quick one. Have a good day.

TGF CHA Relay - WS Charlotte

Evening sweethearts. Just a quick one from me. I have a shocker headache. Thank goodness DH has a day off tomorrow for Australia Day.

This is Wild Sprout Charlotte from The Greeting Farm for the CHA relay. This is the Day 2 digi that you get if you complete the Day 1 creation by 6PM CST. Here it is. Have a good night everyone.

TGF CHA Relay - Digi 1

Have you seen the free digi over at The Greeting Farm.....????? This fabulous Merman Ian is up for grabs for the TGF CHA relay. This is how it works. Everyone gets this digi for free. If you upload your card to the TGF Gallery by 6pm CST (US time) you then comment on the post with you email address and when the last comp is over you get the next free digi. You have to upload to the gallery by the time specified or you don't get the next digi. Hope that makes sense. Anyway - not good for those in the US who work. Good for us here in Australia as we are ahead and I am a SAHM too so I can do mine during the day. Good luck with it. You can get up to 6 free digi's (I think it is).

Day 11 - 12 Days of Sketches

What a simply wonderful year that I have had. I have made some great friends here in blogland which is something that was very unexpected. I wish I could meet you all. For those of you in Australia and specifically the Melbourne area we really need to have a huge meet up and crafting day. I think it would be so much fun. We aren't that far away from each other so it shouldn't be hard. Anyway - we spent our New Years Eve watching Dollhouse and then brought in the New Year by watching the fireworks in Sydney on the TV. I am pretty sure that the Melbourne fireworks didn't go ahead this year due to the storms we had last night. Lots of lightening and thunder which certainly cooled it down a little but still pretty warm today.

Anyway on to my card. Made for The Greeting Farm's 12 Days of Sketches Day 11. I had all intentions of making a card with the New Years Bear available at TGF but it just didn't look right so I ended up colouring up Joyce aka Rosalie for this sketch. Love how it turned out. I am really enjoying doing the sketches. Am spewing that the new releases this month don't come out until 9am CST as it is 2am our time. Might have to set the alarm and get up just to buy the stamps and then go back to bed. LOL.

Glitter glitter everywhere

Good morning everyone. I know it is Wednesday but Elizabeth asked us to have our creations done by today so I am posting a day earlier than normal for Softpencil. This image is called ' We made a Snowman'. Isn't it adorable....!!!! I think so anyway. Our design element with this image was to use 'Glitter/liquid applique/flock etc'. So I did two of those. I used liquid applique for the snow under the characters and snowflakes falling and Stickles Ice Glitter for the snowflakes. I also used 3D Kindyglitz for an outline on the image.

Enjoy your hump day. Only one more day of the week and then another long weekend. Woo hoo.

Products: Softpencil digital stamp; Bo Bunny DP; Stickles Ice glitter; Spellbinders Create a Flake; Kindyglitz; Liquid Applique.

Day 9 - 12 Days of Sketches

Wow we are up to Day 9 of the 12 Days of Sketches at The Greeting Farm. I am having so much fun playing along with these sketches. I must admit that I have most of my images coloured with DP ready to go - just have to wait for the sketches. I guess that is the only way to do it really - isn't it.....????!!!!!! LOL.

I bought this chibi as I wanted it to make a birthday card for my little girl but decided not to use it. I bought this DP on Monday when I went to the big Scrapbooking store near me and knew as soon as I saw it what image it would look perfect with. I love the colours and it meant that I could colour her up in lots of colours. Perfect birthday card I reckon.
I had all intensions of making lots of cards in the holidays at night when my kids were in bed but hubby and I started watching True Blood and we are hooked. We just finished Season 1 and are probably going to watch Season 2 as we got it from one of hubby's workmates. We also have Dollhouse to watch and a new series (to us) Santuary. I hope that is good too. Oh and we are also in the process of watching Stargate Atlantas. Wow lots of shows to watch that we have recorded which leaves not a lot of time for cardmaking. Hence why I have been colouring images during the day and whipping up a card as quickly as I can. Hope it doesn't show in my cards. Okay enough for now. Stay tuned. I have a Softpencil card to show you today too.

Day 5 - 12Days of Sketches

Good afternoon. Phew - been one of those days. Oh it must be Christmas eve LOL. Been grocery shopping, vaccuumed, mopped and done all the dishes. I tell you I haven't stopped all day and I still forgot to get some things from the supermarket so have to go back in later. Grrrr.....!!!!!

This will be the first of two posts. I am going to show you all the gorgeous gorgeous cards I have received in the mail from my fellow MDU DT members and blogging friends.

First though I better show you the card I made for The Greeting Farm 12 Days of Sketches Day 5 sketch. I turned it on it's side so that I could fit in Edward and 'Bella' on to the card. I just love these digi stamps. The sentiment stamp is from Artful Inkables. I tell you what I have had these stamps along with Twlight stamps from there and still haven't had the chance to use them. Maybe after Christmas.

Day 4 - 12 Days of Sketches

Good morning.

Another day of Sketches over at The Greeting Farm. This is Spring Fairy or as my Mr 4.5 says - Mermaid fairy as he thinks she looks like a mermaid. She sorta does LOL. Anyway. You know when you colour an image with papers in mind and when you put it all together it just doesn't seem right....??? Well this is the card for me this week. Everything I did with this just didn't work the way I wanted at all so I ended up just putting all the DP down and just going with it. I know we are our own worst critics but this is just - I won't be nasty to myself hehehe.
Anyway - another day closer to Christmas. Gosh it is just coming up so quickly. What a horrible time of year huh. I hate being so busy. I am off to Chadstone Shopping Centre tonight to get all the kids stocking fillers - seeing the centre is open all night. Will give me a chance to get all the little things I need. Have to buy something for DH as well - even though he bought his own present already it would be nice to have his own present I am sure.

Day 3 - 12 Days of Sketches

Afternoon everyone. Always feels weird to be a day ahead of the most of the world - or at least a few hours LOL.

This card is for TGF 12 Days of Sketches Day 3. I am lucky enough to follow one of the DT and I spied the sketch a day early so I made this last night whilst everyone else in the house were watching crappy TV. Ahhhh....!!!! Thank god my parents don't care if I craft. What else is there to do if they are watching TV - Right....??? That is my excuse anyway. LOL.

I used Winter Fairy - or as my Hubby calls her - Sexy Fairy - and next TGF sketch will be Spring so I will have made all the seasonal fairies in to cards finally. Hahahaha. Sometimes I go overboard with the stamps and buy so many. Phew. Got my Maggies to ink up too. Really is not enough time in the day.
I feel like I am going to fall asleep here. Don't know why I am so tired. Must be the fact that my little girl woke at 6am crying and I brought her into bed with me but she didn't go back to sleep. Oh well.

Products: TGF digital Winter Fairy; Bo Bunny DP; Bazzill card; SU Bermuda Bay card and ribbon; Spellbinders Create a Flake; Copic Air brush system; white brad; Helmar Scrapdots.

Day 2 - 12 Days of Sketches

Good morning blogging friends. Been a great weekend for me so far. Even though my parents are here I was able to get this card done. While everyone else was watching the Test Cricket (yuck) on TV I made this. LOL. I hate cricket so I am allowed to make something else. Hehehe.

Anyway this was made with The Autumn Fairy from TGF for Day 2 of the 12 Days of Sketches. I thought I would do all the season - so yesterday we started with Summer and now today we have Autumn. Most likely tomorrow I will have Winter and so on and so forth. Most likely will use some stamps that I haven't had the pleasure of inking up yet like my Twinkle Tots. LOL. So many stamps and so little time. Ain't it the way.

Happy Birthday Ashley

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET ASHLEY

It really is hard to believe that it was two years ago that my sweet darling girl was born but the time has flown. She is becoming such a little lady - NOT....!!!! She is going to be such a little tomboy I can see it now - no wonder seeing she has two older brothers but for now I am trying to make her as girlie as possible. She is off to daycare as usual today but will probably have something on this weekend as my parents will be here for an early Christmas.

This photo of Ashley was taken a while ago but just wanted to show you the similarities between her and the image I bought from Digital Pencil. What do you think....??? She has her grumpy face on though LOL.
I made this card with the Friday Sketchers sketch (again) so it is my second entry. As Cupcake Craft Challenges have a Birthday card theme this week than it fits in with that. Woo hoo. Enjoy your day everyone.

Anything but a card

It is Thursday. What does that mean.....???? Yep you got it. It is Softpencil Thursday. This week we have a great image by Elizabeth's talented sister. This is a Mandala and this one is called Devine Creation. Our design element was to make 'Anything but a card', so I made a gift box but I did cheat a little and made a matching Birthday card for my MIL. I gave this to her yesterday and she loved it. She loves this sort of thing. I used to draw something similar to this for her every year - I might show you one day. For today it is all about Softpencil.
This first photo didn't turn out too well as the Glimmermist makes it so hard to take a good photo. The one below shows a better view.
I made this box with SU US In Colors. Love these colours and the Thoroughly modern DP.

Doodle Palace Day

Good morning. It's Wednesday so it is Doodle Palace Release day. This little cutie is available and so it another Teddy with flowers. Check it out at Doodle Palace. I thought I would do a Valentine card to give to my hubby. I like this image but must admit that I printed him a bit too small, so this is a small card. I decided to emboss some card instead of using DP as I wanted these specific colours. Hope hubby likes it. Have a good one.

More Christmas wishes

Good morning. How is everyone today....???? I am well. Getting there. It is my day off from the kids today - woo hoo. They are all at Daycare so I have the day free. Yay...!!!!!

Being a Thursday it is Softpencil day. This image is called 'We wish you a Merry Christmas'. I love it. The design element this week was to use your favourite Christmas colour combo so I used my Bo Bunny papers again. I love these colours. Blue/green and Red is a great combo. I got my Spellbinders Create a Flake 1 & 2 in the mail on Monday so had to use on this card too.

I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this card. Enjoy your day.

Be Creative

Morning all. It is Thursday so it is Softpencil day. This week we were given 'Simon thinking of Santa' who was designed by Elizabeth's talented sister Natalia. Very cute. Our design element this week was to 'Be creative' so I decided to make gift tags - these are absolutely perfect for them.

I loaded the images up in Gimp and added the text. Think it looks great. Punched out some snowflakes and sprayed with the Glimmermist and then a dot of Kindyglitz in the middle. Excellent - now I have 3 tags - one for each of my children. Ace. LOL.
