Changing my blog

Just letting you all know that I am in the process of changing my blog and will have all my lists etc on my sidebar back up soon. Hope you like the new look.

Magnolia Down Under #21 - Recipe

This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges #21 the challenge is a Recipe. We need to use 1 Flower, 2 Ribbons, 3 Brads and 4 DP or colours. I have used my new Magnolia Lazy Dayz stamp and of course, had to use my K&Co Wild Raspberry DP. The sentiment down the bottom is actually from the DP. So had to use it as it is so sweet. The best thing about this fortnights challenge is that we have a sponsor from The Scrappin' Kats with a $20AU voucher for the winner. How good is that. Pop on over to the MDUC blog and see the DT inspiration and join in this great challenge.

Hope we are all enjoying our weekend. I am having a great one. My folks are here for a visit and I was able to get myself the TGF Miss Anya Dressy. Woo hoo. LOL. Not much else going on here. Been busy busy doing DT stuff - can't wait to show you all what I have created for the Doodle Palace. Stay tuned.

Products: magnolia stamp; SU Regal Rose card; K&Co Wild Raspberry DP; SU Flower brads; Prima flowers; SU Rose red & Basic grey ribbon.

Chibi Princess

Good morning everyone. Hope we are happy it is the weekend. I have my parents here for the weekend so won't be blogging much but thought I would show you the card I made for a forum friend who's request was to make a Princess card with lots of pink. I don't know about anyone else but I find if I make a card for someone to give to someone else I struggle as I want to make it perfect. I am happy with this one but it was a hard one to do for me.

Anyway - the card. I used the sketch from the talented Claudia Rosa for Friday Sketchers. I love the layered design and I thought I would use the same DP matted on some shiny card. Hope you like. I must give credit to the lovely and talented Shinta Girl. This Chibi Princess is one of her DeviantArt drawings. I love Chibi's and am in the process of trying to draw some myself. You certainly need a lot of talent as it looks easy but not so much so at the moment I will stick to colouring them in. You can find lots of brilliant things on DeviantArt. Go check it out.

Products: Shinta Girl image; Autumn Leaves DP; SU Pink Piroquette & Pretty in Pink card; SU Rose Red ribbon; Shiny card from LSS; Dimensional dots.

I wanna be just like......

Morning everyone. Will make it quick as I am having network problems here at home so am on the main computer and can't keep an eye on my kids. Okay this card is for Club Anya 'I wanna be just like......Pam Varnell'. You have to case the card (below), keep to the same sketch/layout and submit by the end of the weekend to win a free stamp. Easy peasy. This is my effort. Hope you like.

Sugar and Spice

Hello everyone. Phew. Been busy busy this past week with lots going on in my crafting world. Will let you know more when I am allowed to. LOL.

I was able to get a card done for the Anyone For Anya? challenge - this week it is 'Sugar and Spice'. I decided that my Miss Anya Snow needed to get another showing for this. Not all Christmas cards have to be red, green and white so went with the pastel colours. I used this brilliant sketch from Papertake Weekly Challenge. I love these papers. Another K&Co DP.

Now I have a request - I haven't been able to get my hands on the new Miss Dressy Anya's as every time I go to buy they are out of stock so was hoping that someone could stamp a couple up for me. If you are interested in discussing please email me otherwise - everyone have a fabulous afternoon.

Softpencil Thursday

Good morning everyone. It is Thursday so that means I get to show some more gorgeous digital stamps by the very talented Elizabeth from Softpencil Digital Stamps. Before I do I have some exciting news. Elizabeth has asked me to stay on a permanent DT. Woo hoo. I am so very excited and am absolutely over the moon.

On to my card. This week's image is 'Love Birds' which can be purchased here. Our design element this week was shimmery, sparkle etc so I printed this image onto shimmered card. Unfortunately the photos don't do it any justice. Looks better in real life. I added the Bling just to give it sparkle that you could see. The image was printed twice and I can tell you that it took ages to dry on this card - my fingers were covered in ink but thankfully it stayed on the card as well. I scored a border around the card (which again is hard to see). I must admit my photos are not very good this week. Hope you like. Have a great Thursday everyone.

Friday sketchers

Evening everyone. Managed to get a card finished tonight for Friday sketchers. I loved this sketch but was trying to find a stamp and DP to use. I got it done though. Hehehe.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my little girl. Her forehead looks so much better today but gosh there is a massive bruise but she is her normal self so it didn't effect her that much. I have such accident prone kids. My eldest used to walk into door frames all the time which always left a vertical bruise and bump on his head. LOL. Kids.

TGF Fresh Farm Friday

I wasn't going to do another post today but thought I should as I want to enter this card into The Greeting Farm Fresh Farm Friday challenge. Seeing the challenge closes tomorrow thought best to get done now. I flipped the sketch on it's side. Hope you like.

_________________________________________
We have had some wild weather here in Melbourne. Our power went off and we have had 120kmph winds, hail and lots and lots of rain.

Just thought I would show you a photo of my little girl. She had a big crash tonight just before bed. She fell over in her brothers room and fell head first into the corner of one of the beds. Ouch. Wasn't a very happy girl as you could imagine. Fat lip and the egg on her head was huge (the photo doesn't do it justice).

Full set

As promised yesterday - I completed the third card with the last image from Dani & Friends digital stamp set by the very talented Mo which can be purchased here. I must admit when I came across these gorgeous illustrations I was beside myself. I love them all. Great detail and an absolute talent indeed. I took a photo of all three cards made with these gorgeous stamps.

I must say that my Mojo was running hot yesterday and I got four and a half cards/creations done. I am going to apply for the TGF DT call and I got that out of the way. I will not post that until the call is over (even though I am sure noone will steal my ideas I am just being cautious). Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Memories

Afternoon everyone. How has your weekend been....??? Mine has been good. I can't imagine a better weekend really. Went out today and gave my bestie my cards to sell in her salon and went to my LSS and got some more paper and some fancy brads and now just on here posting (of course).

I couldn't wait to use this digital stamp from Mo's - called Rae with Journal - that my good blogging friend Rowena aka Craftypagan bought for me. Isn't she lovely. Mwah darling I love them. You can purchase this in a set of 3 - called Dani & Friends. They can be purchased here.

On to the card. Hehehe. I made this for Sketch Saturday. I love this sketch and I just had to use this SU DSP Walk in the Park. I love the colours. Hope you like. Will be back with more of these stamps during the week.

My little girl

On Thursdays my boys are in daycare and it is just my little girl Ashley and myself here at home. She is nearly 2yrs old and is starting to refuse to have a sleep in the afternoon, much to my disappointment. LOL. This past Thursday she refused to go for a sleep and whilst I was on the couch on the internet she did this. She laid down next to me on the floor and fell asleep. LOL. It was hilarious and she slept there for a good 40mins. Lets just say she must have been very tired. Hehehe

Will be back later with a card.

So Sweet

Hello everyone. Woo hoo it is the weekend. Don't you just love it. Hopefully it doesn't go too quickly. I am crossing my fingers that I might get a chance to pop to my LSS to have a browse at some paper. Hehehehe. Has anyone else got a DP addiction...???? I am sure I have nothing compared to some LOL.

Okay on to the card. I made this card for Just Magnolia with this fabulous sketch from Rach. I love this sketch. I also have entered in to the Cute Card Thursday with a 'Lazy Dayz' challenge this week. I love some of the new summer Magnolia's. This one is one of them. Hope you like.

Just a tip - which most of you probably already know but thought I would throw it out there anyway. Limited DP- I know when I go shopping I sometimes only buy one DP in a series and obviously that limits what you can do. Just cut out the shapes/designs on the sketch from the one DP and mount onto a different coloured card so you don't have such plain card sitting there on your creation. Hope that makes sense.

Products: Magnolia stamps; SU Kiwi Kiss textured card & Riding Hood red card; K&Co DP; Nesties; SU Real Red ink; craft knife.
