Blue Eyed Devil

Morning everyone. I seriously am sorry for the lack of posts lately but some things in my life have changed and I am concentrating on those at the moment more than creating. I have also lost my card making mojo. At least my motivation for it. Hopefully I will feel differently next week.

Now on to my LO. This is my son Lachlan. He is my honey but he is so full on - hence the title on the LO. He can be as sweet as candy one minute but destroying something the next. LOL. I swear he will be the death of me LOL. I saw someone use these Websters Pages DP on a LO and I so wanted to do the same thing. Do you think I can remember who it was...?? Nope. So so sorry for not giving credit where it is due. I had a sheet of stickers that I bought with this DP and do you think I can find them. Nope. Ahhhhhh....!!! I really have been such a scatter brain lately.

It is a long weekend here in Australia. Off to one of my good friends place this arvo and hoping for an extra sleep in on Monday (hahahaha like that will happen).

Our Tink

** Correction on this first sentence ** Okay listen I am gonna blame preggo brain (even though I am not pregnant) for my lack of Mad for Markers post. I posted on the wrong week last week and even though Sammi said I could have this week off I said I would still do another post. Well I forgot. I am such a scatter brain. I just can't get it right lately. I seriously don't know what has happened to my mojo either. Ahhhhh...!!! Please put me out of my misery LOL.

Okay today's post is all about the littlest Miss in my life Ashley.

This photo was taken at DH's birthday last year which was a dress up party. I was going to give this to Ashley for her birthday but seeing it was there we just gave it to her early for Mick's party. She did so much growing last year and this has to be my favourite photo of her for the year.

Okay off for another pick up and then school pick up. Ahhhh going crazy I think. Bye for now.

Can you measure happiness...???

Hey lovely ladies. Just thought I would show you a LO I did of my two boys. I just adore this photo and the boys just looks so happy. They are the best of friends and I so hope that they stay this way for the rest of their lives. One benefit of having them so close together in age.

I have had this DP from Cosmo Cricket for such a long time and thought it was time to use it. To tell you the truth I have a lot of papers that have just gathered dust as I have been slack using them or I hoard them.

Hope you like.
Enjoy your day.

Brotherly Love

Morning all. Hope you are having a super week. It is Thursday so that means a Mad for Markers post and I am here with your today to show you this Scrapbooking LO I did of my children a couple of week after my little Miss was born. That was such a long time ago but have decided that I needed to do a LO with this gorgeous photo.

I found this difficult. I am no good at homewares so I did the LO instead. I used some Tim Holtz Mini Masks - Florets for this. I got out my trusty Airbrush System and air brushed around them. I also coloured the White Chocolate Chipboard letters from BasicGrey with a markers as well.

Hope you enjoy my inspiration.

Copics used: ABS B02, Red flower- R14, Letters - B97

Products: Sassafras Lass Indie Lane DP; EK Success 123 Cutting system; Copic markers; Doodlebug hearts; BasicGrey White Choc chipboard letters; Flowers from stash; BasicGrey and various buttons.

Smile

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all going well. I thought I would do a SB LO on the weekend with these gorgeous photos of my DD at age 10mths. She was and still is the happiest child ever. She has the chubbiest cheeks and a smile that would melt your heart. I didn't use a sketch for this one as the DP sort of led the way. I couldn't find any DP in my stash to match the colours of my miss' top but I went searching in my 'to throw away' pile and found this DP from Grace Taylor. It isn't good for cardmaking but perfect for SB. I actually had some Artisan Elements up on the left hand corner but stuck out like a sore thumb so I removed it and stuck down this DP from Sassafras Lass. Hope you like. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Kisses for Brenda

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was a very very lazy one, so much so that I cancelled on one of my good friends on Friday and spent a lot of time in my PJ's. LOL. Yesterday I decided to make a scrapbooking LO of this gorgeous photo of my sister Brenda and my little girl Ashley. This is such a sweet photo - it has to be one of my favourites from my sister's wedding.
The DP is from Papermania. Unfortunately it is only 8x8" so I had to think outside the box a little, but do love the way it turned out.
I have been looking for sketches for SB LO's and have finally found a great site that has just that. It is called Pencil Lines . If you are stuck for idea than this is the perfect site. I will try and do some of their sketches soon.

My sisters Wedding album

Good afternoon everyone.
Oh gosh I spent so much time on this gorgeous album for my sister
Brenda and then was waiting until I gave it to her
before I showed you all here on my blog. I forgot. She received
it almost two weeks ago so I thought I had better show you plus I
told someone I would post on my blog so she could see how it turned out -
"Hello Karen". LOL. This album is the Teresa Collins Mr & Mrs Album Kit
and it can be purchased from Kazmos Kreationz if you are in Australia.
Beware this is a picture heavy post. Enjoy.

2 Cute

Good morning everyone. TGIF. That is all I can say. It has been a long and tiring week. Hopefully the weekend won't fly by like normal.

During the week - well on Tuesday to be exact I was bored. I had done all my DT work and scheduled all my posts that I needed to post. What to do.....!!!!??? I decided on a scrapbooking LO. I have not done one for ages - just for the fun of it. The sketch I used was from MME blog for a challenge in November last year. Yep so long ago but I had kept the sketch on my laptop and loved it. I did however turn it on it's side.

Look at my chubba bubba. This is Lachlan. He is so cute. This has to be my favourite photo of him. He was always so happy and was always like this when he was a baby. Well he is a ratbag now and destroys etc now. Ahhh the joys of bringing up boys.

Stay tuned. Will be back tonight with my Stamp Something DT card.

Banana Split with Sprinkles

Good morning everyone.
Today is the first official The Lollipop Ladies challenges.
Now we told you that we had some yummy sweet inspiration.
Here is the first sweetness. OMG I just love Banana Split.
All you have to do is take inspiration from this photo - colours, shapes, textures
anything that will get your creative juices flowing and make something with it.
Added option is to Add Sprinkles.

For my creation I decided that I would make a Scrapbooking LO of my DD Ashley.
My inspiration was the colours and also the lines of the banana. I did
also add some sprinkles by getting some embroidery thread and
sewing some little knots. I did have lots of fun with this.
It is the first SB LO I have done in a long time and thanks to this
sweet pic I was able to make it.
The title on the page is the same as what is on my DD T-shirt.
Enjoy. Hope you get some inspiration.

Adore

Hahaha I will try that again but put text in here instead. Sorry about the third post for the day. I just couldn't help myself. I did this LO last night of my little girl taken on the 24th Dec 2008. My very talented niece Jessica took the photo. It is one of my favourites of Ashley. She used a professional camera and used some kind of filter - don't ask me what. LOL.

Products: Balla DP, Petites (sentiment and butterfly); I am Roses roses; Gardenia from stash; Mini roses from Cheryl's blog candy; MM slice and DC3; Distress ink.

A card and LO

Morning everyone. It is Monday already....!!! Wow the weekends go way too quickly. Thankfully my hubby has today off as it is Melbourne Cup Day tomorrow and we have a public holiday for it. They do call it the race that 'stops the nation'. Can you imagine all these people around the TV watching a horse race. LOL. Not too fussed about it myself. Might have to get lots of crafting in whenever my hubby gets out of bed that is. LOL.

Okay on to my card first of all. This is for The Sugar Bowl with a great sketch and please include: Lace. I technically don't have lace but used a border punch to make faux lace. I like the colours. I have had these BasicGrey papers for a long time. I am such a hoarder. I never want to use any of my papers if I like them. LOL. I couldn't find a project that suited but the Gorjuss Girls are perfect for this DP. I think anyway. Hehehe. Okay babbling.

__________________________________________________________________
I haven't done a scrapbooking layout in a long long time. I have some Cosmo Cricket Early Bird DP that I wanted to use for a layout and I had it all set out in my head but just couldn't find a photo/s to go with it so started from scratch. Again I have had these Making Memories papers for a long time but haven't found a suitable project until I found these photos. I love these photos as it was my little girls favourite thing to do. You would say to her "Oh my gosh" and this is what she would do. LOL. It was a classic and we got lots of photos. Hehehe. She is my gorgeous girl. I just love her to bits. I must say that it is not as nice as I would have liked. I have to get some scrapbooking MOJO back. LOL.

Okay - have a great day everyone.

Snoozing

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all keeping well. I had a great time away with my family. My Dad took us out for dinner on Friday night and for THE first time ever it was just us as a family - sitting, talking, drinking and enjoying each others company. I missed the kids terribly though so I ended up getting home last night not today as planned - although with the way the kids have been acting I wish I had stayed at my sister's last night and come home today LOL. It is a catch 22. Hehehe.

My sisters workshops went okay - just okay. She made enough sales to get the hostess benefits but it was very disappointing for her. We had one late Friday afternoon and one person just didn't show but we were supposed to have 7 people come yesterday morning and 5 people didn't show - not even a phone call or an SMS to let my sister know that they weren't coming - so for her it was disappointing that they didn't care enough to let her know. Disappointing for me, as I drove 400kms for two workshops that wouldn't even cover my petrol. Grrrr....!!!! Nevermind - my sister was happy so that is all that matters. Anyway enough babbling from me.

As promised - a scrapbooking LO. I didn't actually end up doing this at the workshops as they were all more interested in cardmaking - good thing I can whip up a card with my eyes closed these days so wasn't too bad. I put it all together this morning as I had everything cut etc. Hope you like.

I submitted this LO to Scrapbooking Memories Aust. for their baby theme but once again I got a 'Not at this time' email. Oh I am so disillusioned about it all. Oh well will keep on keeping on.

Jolly Girl

I posted a little while ago that I had been neglecting my scrapbooking of late but I lost my Mojo but last night as I sat down to 'try' and do a LO it all came together easily. I really don't know what I did before I found sketches as it certainly takes the guess work out of where to put everything.

My little Miss is so easy to scrapbook. She is always smiling and makes for a good photo. But have done note to self - don't get photo printed in gloss. I had to wipe off the finger prints on the photo which doesn't happen on matt finish.

I actually used the Stamp with Fun sketch this week for this LO and technically I only used one stamp (flower in the bottom left) so I won't be entering in to the challenge this week. Hopefully I will have time today (as hubby is home) to create some more cards.

All products are Stampin' Up:
Stamp: Cheep Talk; Card/Paper: Pink Pirouette textured, Cameo Coral & Rose Red card; Raspberry Tart DSP; Accessories: Scallop circle punch, 1" circle punch, Hodegpodge Square holder, paper piercer, paper scissors, Versamark ink, Clear embossing powder.

Grandma & Nanna

Hey beautiful ladies. Just thought I would post some more of my scrapbooking pages. I have so many of Tyler (my eldest) and need to share. As I said previously, unfortunately the flash played havoc with the pictures but I don't have the time to take photos in the daylight ATM. Maybe soon. LOL. Hope you like. Most of the products on these two pages are K&Co Amy Butler papers and stickers except for the Heidi Swapp chipboard letters. As you can see I was not that big on journalling - I always made the photo the centrepiece. Getting better at the journalling now though.
