Stampavie and More sketch card

Hey sweethearts. Hope we are good today. It is Friday. Yay....!!!!! Weekend is nearly here. Going to be a nice quiet weekend in our house this weekend. It will be the first weekend in 3wks that hubby hasn't had to work on Saturday morning so he gets a proper sleep in. Mmmmm glad I get mine on Sunday.

Anyway - on to my card. I used the sketch from Stampavie and More. Isn't it great....!!!!???? I had to use one of my new Magnolia stamps that I got from Magnolia Down Under. I think this 60's Tilda is so cute. Looks great with this MME DP.
I have been wasting lots of DP lately so thought I would decorate the inside of the card as well with this one. It turned out great I think. Hope you have a great day.

Whiff of Joy sketch

Afternoon everyone. Hope we are all well. Did you all enjoy the Softpencil Blog hop....???? Such great cards from the other DT I enjoyed doing the hop myself. LOL.

I made this card for the Whiff of Joy Challenge with this great sketch. I received a couple new WOJ stamps this week and was hoping that I would also receive my new Nesties that I bought on ebay too but unfortunately they didn't come so I decided to cut out the image and use my current Nesties. The sewing machine is the most fantastic tool for crafting which I don't use often enough - I just love stitching on cards. Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Make sure you come back tomorrow to check out my DT card for the first ever challenge for Anya Ink.

Red, White & Grey

Woo hoo it is Saturday. Can you feel it.....???? Hmmm it is the Aussie Rules Football Grandfinal today. It is similar to the Super Bowl but with a different type of football. Even though my team is not in the final I tell you what it is still such a big day here in Australia. Everybody has BBQ's, drink a lot of alcohol and spend time with friends. We are off to my besties place for a Birthday celebration (her birthday is tomorrow) to watch the footy and hopefully have me a couple of drinks. Of course it is supposed to be - get this - 14 degrees celsius but they are predicting that it will drop down to 9degrees from 2pm - 4pm. Brrrrrrr......!!!! Coldest footy grandfinal day on history.

Okay on to my card. I started making this for Papertake Weekly Challenge and so wanted to enter into the Just Magnolia challenge this week but the red just wasn't pink enough so I can't put into that. I must admit that I absolutely love the Fall stamps from Magnolia especially this cutie. On the dinner plate she is just too cute.

Hope you enjoy your weekend.

I made this card for Lili of the Valley with this great sketch. I had to use my Bella DP again as I am absolutely in love with it. And the matching brads as well of course.

So Sweet

Hello everyone. Woo hoo it is the weekend. Don't you just love it. Hopefully it doesn't go too quickly. I am crossing my fingers that I might get a chance to pop to my LSS to have a browse at some paper. Hehehehe. Has anyone else got a DP addiction...???? I am sure I have nothing compared to some LOL.

Okay on to the card. I made this card for Just Magnolia with this fabulous sketch from Rach. I love this sketch. I also have entered in to the Cute Card Thursday with a 'Lazy Dayz' challenge this week. I love some of the new summer Magnolia's. This one is one of them. Hope you like.

Just a tip - which most of you probably already know but thought I would throw it out there anyway. Limited DP- I know when I go shopping I sometimes only buy one DP in a series and obviously that limits what you can do. Just cut out the shapes/designs on the sketch from the one DP and mount onto a different coloured card so you don't have such plain card sitting there on your creation. Hope that makes sense.

Good morning everyone. Yep up bright and early with a post for the day. I must say that I have been absolutely dying to show you all this card that I finished over the weekend. I just loved putting it together and nearly forgot the lace. LOL.

I made this for the Sugar Bowl challenge #15 - Gayle's sketch. What a simple yet great sketch it is. Did I say how much I loved this card. LOL. The added option is Ribbon and bows. I went with the Lace but couldn't manage to find any ribbon that I could 'bow' up. These papers are K&Co Amy Butler range - do you think I like these ranges.....????

Kellie's Motivet sketch challenge

Anyone want to win some Motivet stamps.....???? Well, if you go to the uber talented Kellie Winnell's blog you will find her first ever (one off) challenge to win some Motivet stamps. Why you ask....?? Kellie has just become a member of the Motivet DT and to celebrate Stephanie from Motivet is giving a little prize but Kellie is trying to make it interesting to see what you come up with.

You need to follow the sketch - you can use any stamp you want - and the best thing ever is you can enter as many times as you want. This challenge ends at Midnight 24th July and winner will be announced on 26th of July.

Okay onto the other challenges I have entered with this card. I have done the Stamp with Stampavie and Pink Elephant challenges - both have a color combo of Blue and Red.And lastly Creative Inspirations with a challenge this week of Stitching - real or faux. Gotta love that. Of course, I had to use this gorgeous Motivet stamp which can be purchased here. This is Sorry Doraline but I thought I would use her for a Miss You card. Hope you like. Don't forget to enter Kellie's challenge.

Have a great weekend

Okay the challenges. Loving this great sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar and combined it with the Whiff of Joy Challenge which is 'Piercing' this week. I love these combination of colours - don't you. They really fit perfectly. I got this gorgeous image from my blog candy from Cheryl. I was rapt when I got several WOJ's as my surprise in the candy. Skunk cutie

Gosh another sketch. I love them to bits - you all know that but unfortunately it doesn't give us much of a chance to combine challenges. This sketch is for The Next Level and the added option is to do something 3D. Geez I love this little skunk. It is from the DWCV Green stack. I just cut out the circle and tail and the second image and layered him to make him look 3D. No flowers on this one as what skunk needs flowers....??? LOL. I thought the mushrooms look better than a couple of flowers. Hope you like.
