Another just because card

Good morning everyone. How are we all....???? TGIF - that is all I can say. Must admit that the weekends go oh so quickly as well I feel like we need another day off.

I made this card before Christmas but just didn't have a chance to post it up. It is a nothing card. Just wanted to use one of the gorgeous stamps that Bec stamped out for me (thanks doll). I am in love with the Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket Sentiments that I got before Xmas too. You can get a matching die for it too (which I also have).

Enjoy your Friday. Will be back later with the Simply Betty Challenges card.

Close up of colored stamp.

Congratulations on your baby girl

Good morning sweethearts. Well I don't want to jinx myself but hoping this is the comeback of my mojo - so crossing my fingers.

I made this card for my FB friend Mickey (hopefully she doesn't read my blog) - who had a baby a couple of weeks ago. I am so rapt that someone had a baby as I have been dying to use these Hanglar stamps since I got them over a month ago.
The sketch used was from Sketch Saturday. It is a great sketch as always. Thought I had better get this done last night as I have another card to post tonight for Stamp Something.

Bizzy Bec's June Monthly Customer Challenge

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well. I am good.

I thought I would show you this card I made for the Bizzy Becs monthly customer challenge. This month the challenge is to make something with a Winter theme and also the added challenge to use one of the two sketches provided.

I loved making this card. The Hanglar image was stamped out for me by the lovely Christine. I have had her for ages and haven't had the chance to use her yet. I can't wait to get to all the other stamped images I have. I can tell you now I have quite a collection now and it just keeps growing. I had to buy myself a big file folder as the little ones weren't cutting it anymore and I had a draw full of stamped images as well. Now they are all in the folder and are much easier to find. Talking about Hanglar stamps - did you know they are now selling worldwide on ebay. You have to be quick though as their kits sell so so so quickly. I was lucky enough to get myself the little baby set on the weekend. Yay....!!!! LOL. Okay enough babble from me. Enjoy your day.

I love you

Good morning everyone. Wow the weekend is here already and it is going to be so hot here in Melbourne. We are going to have 30 something degree celsius days for the next 3 days. Not good. Apparently on Monday they are warning people to keep an eye out for bushfires. Hoping they are just making us extra cautious.

I was lucky enough a while ago to win the random winner at Stamp with Fun and I was supposed to get a bottle of Glimmermist. Unfortunately it started leaking before it was even sent so Tina asked if I would like a Hanglar Stanglar stamp or stamped images. Of course, I said the stamp - not being able to get them here in Australia of course. I was lucky and Tina sent me the stamp and the stamped images. In fact I was gobsmacked when I opened the envelope to find so many in there. I never really thanked Tina for that - so big thanks Tina (I am sure you don't read my little blog but that is okay). So I thought I would start using some of the gorgeous images she sent me.
This card started out to be so different to the end result. I had so many ideas on what to do with it and they just didn't look right with this DP and images so this is the end result. Unfortunately I am not happy with it. I decided to do the inside too. Meh.....!!!!!
On a good note I thought I would show you the personalized stamp that I got from Kellie as a Christmas present for being DT for her store Magnolia Down Under. I am waiting on another one too. I think they add that personal touch on the back of your cards.
Enjoy your weekend.

Christmas Wishes

Afternoon everyone. Gosh didn't think I would get this card finished today. I have the worst toothache and sometimes I am in dire agony. Off to the Dentist Friday but don't know if I can hang on for another 3 days. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse than it is today.

I managed to make another Christmas card. Woo hoo. I used the sketch from Double Dutch Challenges. I am absolutely stoked. Of course I don't know if it will be a card to send or a card to sell. I am going to have a stall at a Kinder Market in a couple of weeks. Hmmmm don't know if anyone would want to pay $5 for a christmas card. Will see. If it doesn't sell then I guess it will be given to someone. LOL. I had to use this Hanglar image. I have had these for so so so long and decided I have to start using them. Not fair to collect dust in a draw. So here she is. I must have a thing for blue and red with the Hanglar stamps as I looked back at my cards and two out of the three I have used were in these colours. Hehehe. I guess they just suit. I must admit I wanted to do a red coloured card as I got some new copics from 7 Kids College Fund (oh so cheap) and got lots of red markers.

Only two days until New Moon. Woot woot.

Sketch Saturday #69

Hey hey. The weekend is over :(

I made this card for Sketch Saturday #69. I have had this image - along with many other Hanglar stamped images sitting around for months and months and thought I should really use them. No point hanging on to them.

Celebrate today

Morning everyone. Oh it is going to be a wonderful sunny day here in Melbourne but I think still cold outside. Hope the weather is good for you all.

I started doing this card for Mojo Monday 94 and this image not thinking that it may turn out a little masculine but I am in love with it. I love the SU Sweet Slumber Speciality DSP and even though they are very much boy colours I really do like the way it turned out. I also combined A Spoon Full of Sugar with a challenge to use 'Hearts' on your card. I didn't realize that the overalls on this Hanglar stamp had hearts on the fasteners so I chucked a couple of hearts on the card as it looked really bare without it. I sanded the edges of the hearts to give them more dimension. Hope you like.

May your dreams......

Good evening everyone. I will make this a short post as I want to watch some TV for a change. I have combined two challenges tonight. Sketch Saturday with a great sketch from Gill and The Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge with a challenge of 3 ribbons. I was going to use this for Pile it On but don't think it qualifies. I used this Hanglar image that Tina46 from Stamp with Fun sent to me as a replacement for the Glimmer Mist that I had won leaking before she had a chance to send to me. Thanks so much Tina - I am stoked with your generosity.
