My Stampin' Up cards - Hooray

Okay as promised here are a couple of Stampin' Up only cards. They are very simple but only having a bit of a play with them at the moment but I like them a lot.

I love the Eastern Blooms set and have been wanting it since I saw it in the summer Mini catalogue. So now it is part of the new cattie I got it with my starter kit.

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Basic Phrases.
Card: Kraft, So Saffron, Whisper White.
Ink: Rose Red, So Saffron, Green Galore.
Other: rose Red ribbon, dimensional dots, Clear Rhinestone brads.

Gosh I love this set too. So cute. Again very plain.

Stamps: Garden Whimsy.
Card: Whisper White, Pixie Pink, rose red
Ink: Pixie pink, rose red.
Other: Pretties flowers, Making Memories brad, recycled ribbon (came on a present and I like keeping all that kind of stuff LOL).

Okay that is it for now. I am exhausted for some reason. Hate feeling so tired. Hope we all have a great night. Much love.

Oh and I must mention a big 'Thank You' to Angela who provided me with some great goodies as a Welcome when I became a Demonstrator. Couldn't ask for a better mentor.

Update

Okay so I have finally got my Starter Kit. Woo hoo. So happy and can't wait to play with all my new goodies. I have enough stuff now for a little while. Unfortunately - for some reason - the business supplies like the Getting Started DVD did not arrive with my kit so now have to find out why. But you know what it doesn't matter just yet. My first workshop is not until the 26th so have lots of time b4 then for all that stuff to arrive.

Magnolia - okay yesterday I had a whinge coz I 'saw' that my order put in on the 30th of March hadn't been shipped yet but they have shipped it -------coz I got it today. Woo hoo. Unfortunately it is too late for me to make easter cards with the bunnie stamps but I am sure I can incorporate it into some scrapbooking layouts - which I have been neglecting lately in favour of cardmaking. So I am going to be busy busy.

Seeing Katie hasn't emailled me yet. No picture just yet. I think it will be three posts for today. LOL. Hope you all don't mind. :)

Patiently waiting

Okay as some of you know I just became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator. I am now patiently waiting for my Starter Kit to come. I have been sitting at the front door since I got up at 6.30am and I tell you everytime I here a car outside that sounds like a van I look thru the blinds - but alas nothing as yet. I am so excited. DH said I am not 'allowed' to neglect the kids. :( So not a lot of playing with it today until they all go to bed. Hopefully it comes today. I so want to have a play. :D

I won't post a card just yet. I am waiting for dear Katie to send me an email when she gets her package - let me know straight away girl. I have been dying to post something on here for ages but not wanting to until you get it. Woot woot.

Have a great morning. Cross you fingers for me.

Love Lots

Gosh I got a chance to finally make a card with this Stampavie by Rachelle Anne Miller stamp I purchased from HeavenScent . It has been sitting there for weeks but I have been going a little overboard with the stamps lately so hadn't had the chance. Ain't it cute - the stamp I mean. LOL. I love the Kaisercraft wood flourishes as well but hadn't had a chance to scrapbook with them so now I have a chance to make lovely cards with them. Hahaha. What am I gonna do with all these cards....????? Hmmmm. I think I had better start sending them to my beloved friends to show how much I appreciate them.

Another topic - Magnolia. I put an order in on the 30th of March and was expecting the stamps at the start of - or at least the end of last week but nothing. I didn' t realize that there was a 'track your order' feature on the automated email they send with your order. So I click on it and my order hasn't been shipped yet. Hmmmmm. Does anyone know whether they are on holidays or anything...??? I actually put in another order yesterday and that is how I found out about the tracking thing. Hmmmm nearly 200 orders later so I guess they must have missed my order. :( Very disappointed - I actually ordered a couple of Easter stamps so now it is too late. If anyone knows of any delays they have please let me know. Hoping they contact me tomorrow so I can maybe swap the easter stamps with something else. Crossing my fingers.

It is the last day of Mick's holidays. :( He goes back to work tomorrow after being home for 3wks. So loved having him here - especially seeing I was able to make more cards during the day and organize all my Stampin' Up stuff. So back to the grind for us both (so to speak) tomorrow. Hoping my Stampin' Up starter kit comes tomorrow - I so want to have a play with my new stamps and then hopefully the 1st order I put in (for myself) comes at the end of the week. So another waiting game.

Hope we all have a good day.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #7

This weeks theme is 'Sepia'

How hard is this theme. Gosh it took me awhile to figure out what paper etc to use - but pretty quick in Mick's standard. "Did you just make that..??" LOL Seems I can make a card quicker than both of us realized.

Hope you like this card.

Okay it is Easter. The kids had a great time eating chocolate first thing in the morning. We had an easter egg hunt in the lounge room - a little too wet outside to be hiding eggs. LOL. They want to eat eat eat chocolate but at least they aren't as bad as I was as a kid and used to eat so much I would make myself sick.

Have a great day

Happy Easter

This little Easter Anya was purchased online as a digital stamp at The Greeting Farm.
So much easier to use digital stamps as you can print any size you want. I love this little Anya - the bunny ears rock. Thought I would do an easter one - probably a bit late as I can't give it to anyone now but I will still admire this little miss.

Products: Greetings Farm digital stamp; Stampin' Up Chocolate chip & Rose Red card; patterened paper; SU Rose Red ribbon; Fiskers threading water border punch; computer (to print sentiment); SU Rose Red ink & sponge dauber (for edge); Touch and Prismacolor markers; Dimensional dots.

Fairygirl

This is the second Dustin Pike Fairygirl. I really think she deserves a name but I am not the one who should be doing it. Hope you like her - I did - that is why I bought the stamps from Dustin. I thought this would be a perfect birthday card and I was able to find the right sentiment but again I really didn't use the right color combos here - at least when I colored in the sky. Oh well. I don't have the time to do another at the moment - trying to get a couple of Easter cards done.

Products: Dustin Pike digi stamp & Stampin' Up In the Stars (retired); Making Memories paper; pink ink; flowers; Kaiser rhinestones; Touch & Copic Markers; Kindyglitz and Dimensional magic.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge

This week the theme is "Chocolate", this can be in either colour or content. As always you can use any stamp, or style as long as the overall effect remains cute.

Hmmmm Chocolate. Gotta love Easter. Just another excuse to eat more chocolate.
With this ATC I used SU Chocolate Chip card, background stamp (with Versamark ink) & Scallop punch to look like someone has taken a bite out of the card, lots and lots of brown. Unfortunately I can't remember who made the other paper as it was so long ago that I cut up the paper (the manufacturer was cut off) that I just can't recall who it is by. The flower and brown rhinestone are by Kaisercraft. So lots of 'chocolate'. You will bear with me as it is my first ATC challenge.
