Wow it has been a while since I did a Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday post but here it is. As you can see as always my table is pretty neat. At the bottom left of the picture there is an Atkins snack bar. I am addicted to them LOL. That tray holds my card to stamp on and also all the stamped images I already have - lol - they are covered in the DP in the photo. On my desk you can also see the below card. This card was made with a new image from Sylvia Zet at Wee Stamps. I am a huge fan of Sylvia's - of course being a designer for Spesch stamps and all and needed to do a shout out about her little give away too. If you pop on over to Sylvia's blog you will be able to find out how to get Suzi for free. This stamps is called Cody and Stars. So cute.

Wee Stamps

The very talented Sylvia Zet who designs for Spesch Stamps has opened up her own Digital stamp online store. You can not believe how excited I am. I can't wait to see what she brings out for her lovely fans. Check it out here. I am sure there is going to be whimsical and cute stamps galore. Good work Sylvia.

Stamped Flowers

Afternoon everyone. Hope we are all well. I have had a busy week. My son started school this week full time and boy do I not look forward to the drop off and pick up. So many crazy parents and children and I am one of them LOL.

This card started out as another because card. I just made it as I love this image but couldn't find a challenge to use it with but lo and behold at The Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge this week the challenge is to use stamped flowers. Thankfully the gorgeous Sassy Girl here has flowers in her hair. Woot.

This gorgeous DP had the butterflies and I just couldn't bring myself to cover them up with the image so I cut around them and made them a feature on the image. Yay. I think it looks cool.

I am off to make some sugar cookies with my kids and 'hopefully' ice them with Royal Icing although I may wait until they are in bed. I will have to see.

Blogger & Dashboard

I don't know if I am the only one that this has

happened to but thought I would bring it to your attention

anyway.

Since Blogger did some kind of upgrade or whatever

it was you have to sign in to peoples blogs regardless

of whether you are signed in to you dashboard.

The only reason why I discovered this is that

all the fabulous posts that I used to see every morning

when I went to my Dashboard were no longer there so

I checked and lo and behold I have to sign in.

So if your notifications of blog posts has dropped off

significantly than that would be the reason why.

That is all.

Purple Dream

Good morning everyone. Are we all enjoying the current challenge over at Mad for Markers....????If you haven't popped in already to see what it is you really should. I don't know about you all but I love colouring different hair colours but don't do it nearly enough. I thought this Sweet Pea stamp was perfect for using a crazy colour like purple for the hair. Good luck. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Happy 13th Birthday Rio

Happy 13th Birthday RIO....!!!!!

Betty the owner of Simply Betty Stamps has a very special daughter, Rio...!!!

On her 13th birthday instead of being a normal teen Rio has asked

for no gifts and any money that she would get for her birthday

be donated to her local hospital St Judes.

So in crafting fashion, Betty got this gorgeous stamp

designed for Rio for her birthday and all proceeds from

the sale go to St Judes.

As this is just the most selfless thing that any 'new' teen

could ever do Betty asked us all to make card with the stamp

and send it to Rio for her birthday.

Not a problem.

Here it is darling- Have a great day....!!!!

Simply Betty Valentine Birthday challenge reminder

This weeks challenge is a double whammy... Create a Valentine Birthday card with a color combo... the color combo being Black, Pink, and Turquoise! Pretty easy if you ask me! I love that combo as a matter of fact! So get to it and have fun! One lucky winner will get two yep 2 Rubber Stamps: Betty and Christian Valentine Emos! Not bad eh?

I must admit that I actually didn't read this properly and made a 'Valentine Card' so then had to change the sentiment. Thankfully it was a simple enough design that I could do that or I would have been a bit bummed.

Spesch Release Day

Morning everyone. I will make this a quick one as I seem to be running around like a chook with it's head cut off. Phew - school drop off and then Kinder drop off (which is scheduled at the same time mind you) and then hopefully we can get to the shopping centre (with the floods it has been very hard).

Today we have a gorgeous release for you by the talented Sylvia. She has designed some more Fairytale style stamps for us. Gotta love the little fairies. Belated Birthday post

Hey sweethearts. It is Thursday and it is my Mad for Markers post day. Firstly though I would like to wish a Belated Birthday wishes to my hubby's Nanna. Her birthday was yesterday and we did wish her a happy birthday and gave her the below card but I wanted to show you the amount of Copic markers I used - so left until today.

This image I got for free from Chrissy at Paper, Ink, Color! Isn't it the best. I have a mushroom one and also a cute elephant stamp too.

A new challenge has also started this week for this month over at Mad for markers Challenges. It is a fab one too. 'Crazy Hair'. Pretty much have to color a different colored hair other than blonde, brown, or black. Think Pink, Red, purple etc etc.

Coloring on Kraft

Hey everyone. Well it is another month. Gosh it truly as gone quickly but not quickly enough with my kids fighting and not doing what they were told. I wish I could get them to behave themselves. Wish they would go outside. Ahhhhh...!!! They are doing my head in.

I thought I would show you a card I made to try out Kraft with Prismacolor pencils. I must say - firstly I need a white pencil and secondly - it looks awful. I really don't like the way it turned out. I suppose it is what you make it but geez it really is not appealing to me. No matter.

I made the flowers by using my circle nestie and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

This card was made with the Spesch Forest Elf rubber stamp.
