Friday Sketchers with TPS

Good morning. Wow it is Sunday. Can you believe it.....??? I am going to have super duper day today. I am meeting up with some old friends that I have known for 15years and one of them a little longer as I went to high school with her - lets say 20yrs. Hahaha. Gosh I feel old and will probably feel older after this Wednesday on my 35th birthday. Eeeeeekkkk....!!!! Man the time is going way too quickly.

Anyway hahahaha....!!!!! The card. I made this card on Friday night along with my card that I post yesterday with the new range of Lil Lolita's by Tickled Pink Stamps. I just am so in love with them. Kellie has a winner here I think. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers I made this card. I did use the same DP that I used yesterday too. I just love these colours - they are also the same as the ones on my favourite Bella DP too.
I thought I would experiment with Prismacolor pencils and some white spirits. So I got myself some and have been trying to achieve what others seem to make look so so easy - same as using distress inks and watercolouring. Now I can do this. It actually works for me but I am unsure whether I like the effect it gives. The Copic markers - on the left - look more vibrant. The only pencils I coloured on the image to the left was the hair and the hat. The good thing about the pencils with the markers is the spirits don't effect the markers (they do have to be coloured with the markers first or you will get wax on your markers tips and ruin them). So there you go - you can see the difference of colouring with Copic markers and using the Primacolor pencils.
Products: Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lolita Lylah; Kaisercraft DP; SU & AC card; Prismacolor pencils, Odorless solvent, blending stumps; Copic markers for skin; Green Tara and Kaisercraft flowers; pearl brads; Nesties; Kaiser pearls; Grace Taylor sentiments stamp.

Such a good comparison .... always keen to see how other colouring mediums stack up to the Copics.

Have a great day with your friends, those days are the best kind!
