Fairytale Release Day by Sylvia

Good morning good morning. Oh my I am so super excited. The very talented Sylvia has designed some fabulous stamps for us at Spesch Stamps. I just love them. They really are gorgeous. Sylvia has been designing childrens illustrations for a while and when I asked her to design for us at Spesch she was rapt. She is very talented. You need to check out her work here.

Today I am showing you two of the four stamps available.

These really were fun to colour but the best thing about these two is you get two for one for each design. Can you see it....??? The Birdy in love can be cropped to have just the gorgeous little bird and the cake stamp can have the little dog cropped and used as a stand alone stamp too. Cool huh....!!!!

Photo Inspiration

Good evening everyone. Hope we are all well. It has been a long week but it is finally over. LOL. Being Friday it means that I have a card to show you for the Stamp Something Challenge this week. The challenge this week is to use the below photo as an inspiration for your creation. Simple. You could take the colours, or patterns or the LO - what you use as your inspiration is totally and utterly up to you. For me this is special also as our sponsor this week is Paper Jewels. They have lots of different stamps but they are also the only store to stock Spesch Stamps (other than Spesch itself).

For my card I actually used the pink colours in the photo for my card. Looking at it now I could have probably so made a card sketch with this photo. Maybe another time. I actually used the sketch from Sketch Saturday to make this card. Enjoy your Friday and the your weekend.

1000 sheets from 1000 Sheets of Paper

Whatever could I be talking about...????

Well the gorgeous and a little crazy Amy had a brilliant idea to count the amount

of papers she was cutting up and was seeing how long it would take

her to get there. It took her a little over a year

and I am thinking that is quite impressive. So to celebrate

a super milestone she has 1000 sheets of 6x6" papers to give away

to five lucky people. So that is 200 sheets each. Ahhhh but that

is not all. You need to check out what I am talking about.

2 Cute

Good morning everyone. TGIF. That is all I can say. It has been a long and tiring week. Hopefully the weekend won't fly by like normal.

During the week - well on Tuesday to be exact I was bored. I had done all my DT work and scheduled all my posts that I needed to post. What to do.....!!!!??? I decided on a scrapbooking LO. I have not done one for ages - just for the fun of it. The sketch I used was from MME blog for a challenge in November last year. Yep so long ago but I had kept the sketch on my laptop and loved it. I did however turn it on it's side.

Look at my chubba bubba. This is Lachlan. He is so cute. This has to be my favourite photo of him. He was always so happy and was always like this when he was a baby. Well he is a ratbag now and destroys etc now. Ahhh the joys of bringing up boys.

Make a Wish

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all well this Thursday morning. Yep today is Thursday. The days are really going so quickly. I sometimes feel like there is not enough time in the week to do all the things I want to do. No matter.

Today is Thursday so that means this is my Mad for Markers post. Yay...!!!! I loved making this card. I think this lovely looks awesome with white overalls. Have you all entered the M4M challenge this month of 'Colouring White'...??? If not, get your markers out and colour. LOL.

This card was made using the sketch from over at The Sweet Stop. Such a great sketch. And of course I used a wonderful clear stamp from Spesch Stamps called Birthday cake. I got these fabulous papers last week and couldn't wait to use them. It is called Pushing Posies from Bo Bunny. Nice and bright isn't it.

Banana Split with Sprinkles

Good morning everyone.

Today is the first official The Lollipop Ladies challenges.

Now we told you that we had some yummy sweet inspiration.

Here is the first sweetness. OMG I just love Banana Split.

All you have to do is take inspiration from this photo - colours, shapes, textures

anything that will get your creative juices flowing and make something with it.

Added option is to Add Sprinkles.

For my creation I decided that I would make a Scrapbooking LO of my DD Ashley.

My inspiration was the colours and also the lines of the banana. I did

also add some sprinkles by getting some embroidery thread and

sewing some little knots. I did have lots of fun with this.

It is the first SB LO I have done in a long time and thanks to this

sweet pic I was able to make it.

The title on the page is the same as what is on my DD T-shirt.

Catch of the Day

Again another good morning. Brrrrrr the weather here is a little chilly. Hahaha but it would probably help if I weren't still in my PJ's. I need to warm up. Hmmmm coffee not working though LOL.

Okay no babbling from me. This card is made with the brand new stamp available from The Stamping Bazaar called Catch of the Day. This little Otter is so so so cute. I have a thing for Otters I just love them.

I used the sketch from Stamp with Fun and boy was it a lot of fun LOL. Sorry in a silly mood.

Here is a photo of my little girl. Just wanted to show you what I get to enjoy

every day. She is my light. I love her to bits. I suppose I should put

some photos of my boys up some time soon. LOL.

Friday Sketchers with Kenny K

Morning all. It is Tuesday already. Thought I would show you a card I made for Friday Sketchers and Kenny K's Krafy Girlz Challenge of 'On the dark side'. Now I don't know if you could really call this on the dark side but it is as dark as I can get. I am really not a dark person - bright colours are my thing. I do love the Goth stamps by Kenny K and bought three of them - I just couldn't resist. I bought one (can't remember name) that looks like Sophie Monk. So cool. So here is my girl with her purple hair.

Hope you are all well. Hubby is home again today sick with a sinus infection and also to go and get an ultrasound on his liver. Dr thinks he has a fatty liver and with his cholesterol being so high the Dr thinks he may drop of a heartache if nothing is done about it. It is a bit of a worry as hubby's family have a history of heartache. So just another health issue. Hopefully they find nothing wrong with his liver and the cholesterol tablets help bring down his cholesterol. Take care.

Shy Sammy

Good morning my fellow crafters. Hope you are all travelling along well. We are all getting better here slowly but is taking a while. Of course it doesn't help that the weather is freezing here at the moment. Brrrr....!!!! Can't wait for Spring.

Today I have a card for you made with Shy Sammy from The Stamping Bazaar. Isn't he just the cutest (thanks Marina for letting me know the gender). I have been practicing my fur colouring. As you can see it isn't as perfect as I would like it to be (yes I am my biggest critic). I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop which have the best sketch this week.

Pastel Christmas in July

Good afternoon everyone.

Hope we are all well on this lovely Sunday arvo.

Today here in Melbourne it is very overcast and cool out there. It has been

raining lots overnight. Good for the gardens I guess.

Today I have a Pastel Christmas card to share.

I made it for the Cupcake Craft Challenges Pastel Chrismas challenge this week.

I just happened to receive these gorgeous Lili of the Valley stamps on Friday

so I had to use them straight away.

This stamp is called 'Bringing Gifts'.

Under the feet I put some Sparkle 'n' Soft but it has not come up in the photos very

well at all. It is basically white velvet flocking with glitter in it. Looks great.
