Good morning everyone. Hope we are having a great weekend. It is Sunday morning and OMG it is nearly the end of January. Where has the month gone....?? Truly I don't know. My eldest 'baby' will be going to school at the end of this week. Eeeeeekkk..!! I can't believe he is now such a big boy.

Anyway. On to my card. This is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge #52. You can do a 'Love' card so I opted to do just that. This stamp is Elise and isn't she just the cutest thing ever. I have wanted this stamp for a long time and bit the bullet and bought her. I used my Bo Bunny DP and just love the colours. I copied the heart that she is holding and coloured two big ones for under the image instead of a sentiment. Enjoy your day everyone.

Just wanted to mention that the butterfly was cut out for me by Sammi. You are just gorgeous girl. Thanks for everything sweets.

SBC #4 - Bling it On

Good morning everyone. How are we all....???? TGIF - that is all I can say. Must admit that the weekends go oh so quickly as well I feel like we need another day off.

I made this card before Christmas but just didn't have a chance to post it up. It is a nothing card. Just wanted to use one of the gorgeous stamps that Bec stamped out for me (thanks doll). I am in love with the Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket Sentiments that I got before Xmas too. You can get a matching die for it too (which I also have).

Good afternoon everyone. How are we all...??? Finally I have completed this card that I made with the Forest Friends Deer stamp. She is so cute. I must say a big thank you to Sammi for buying the stamps for me and a lovely extra surprise of another stamp set. You are the best girlfriend. LOL.

Okay I made this for the Friday Sketchers sketch. A little different but you get it....right...????!!!!

I have been watching episodes of "The Hills'. OMG can you have that much drama...??? I don't ever remember having that type of life. Maybe it is just coz they are in Hollywood but I never thought my early 20's were that bad and certainly didn't act as catty as they all do. Hmmm maybe it is just me. LOL.

SBC #3 - Sketch

Wow it has been a long couple of weeks. I am having withdrawals from card making and using the awesome Simply Betty stamps. Unfortunately I messed up and made another card that I shouldn't have. Ooopppsssss....!!!!! So I spent a couple of hours doing a card and then had to make this beauty.

A daughter's wish and Mothers gift.

Hello everyone! I am hoping to reach many of you on this special post...

Betty's daughter Rio is turning 13! OMG another teen in the house! Two teens+one toddler= disasterous fun... on most days! LOL

Okay okay, so let me tell you about the Special Image for Betty's Special girl Rio with a Special Birthday request we got from her this year...

Every year Betty will ask the kids what they want for their birthday.

Money, a trip, a party, or an overnight stay at Disneyland.... Rio came to me and said, "Mom, is it really really my choice what I get for my birthday?" I told her of course! So she says, "Ok, this year mom, I want money, but can I do anything at all with it? I mean anything I want mom?" Again, I said of course. "Okay, I want my birthday money to be donated to the children of St. Jude's hospital so they can have a special day, or whatever the money is needed for. I don't want to have money to just blow when I can help other kids that can't get out of bed, or go outside. That's what I want for my birthday!"

Of course I was already choking on my tears before she finished her sentence! What a marvelous request, selfless and special! I had a special image made for her 13th birthday, and I have not told her about it, or shown it to her. I am asking for a very special request myself in honor of my daughter's selflessness.

The image is now available for $3.00 here, I am asking you all to purchase this special stamp and help me bring my daughter special birthday wishes by mailing off a card you make with the image to her... but wait that's not all... all I ask is for the special card to be mailed because the $3.00 made from every purchase will be donated to St. Jude's again in Rio's honor. I am planning on taking her after her birthday to the hospital with the money we raise from this image and her birthday money as requested and giving it all to the hospital!

Her birthday is Feb. 8th, if you all could find it in your hearts to give my little girl that special card my mailing it to her I know it would make her day so special... she is always so grateful of the little things and my hope is to fill that mailbox of ours to the brim with Birthday cards! I plan to gather all cards mailed to her from now until the 8th, and secretly putting them all in the mailbox along with her very favorite chocolates: York Peppermint Patties and Peanut Butter cups! That evening after her birthday dinner I am going to ask her to walk down the street with me to the cluster boxes and have her open the mailbox (I am going to pretend I have not checked the mail all day of course) then BAM! they all pop out at her! Whoohooo! She will be thrilled once she realizes what exactly all those letters are.

Red, White and Blue

Wow I am so in holiday mode still and don't know when I will get out of it. Maybe when the kids start school. Hmmmmmm....!!!! LOL. Anyway I made this card for my Mad for Markers post. This month we have a challenge of 'Red, White and Blue'. Why....???? It is Australia Day here on the 26th of January so what better way to celebrate our fortunate country in a card making way than to have a colour challenge. I used this Kenny K image. I was going to use it for my DH's birthday but decided against it but he is such a geek. LOL. I also followed this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch. Enjoy your day everyone.

Butterfly

Just thought I would show you a fabulous photo of my little girl. One day when we came back to our cabin this huge butterfly was on one of the bushes outside so I ran and got the camera and I picked it up and it decided to land in Ashley's hair. She was really stoked.

Hey lovely ladies. Just thought I would show you a LO I did of my two boys. I just adore this photo and the boys just looks so happy. They are the best of friends and I so hope that they stay this way for the rest of their lives. One benefit of having them so close together in age.

I have had this DP from Cosmo Cricket for such a long time and thought it was time to use it. To tell you the truth I have a lot of papers that have just gathered dust as I have been slack using them or I hoard them.

Forest Elf

This would have to be one of my favourite stamps by Spesch Stamps designed by Sylvia. She did a wonderful job with this one and believe it or not this is the first time I have had a chance to make something with her. She is so adorable. I used the Pixelicious papers by Cosmo Cricket which go perfect with this stamp (I think so anyway). The flowers are from SU. The sketch I used I think is from Sketch Saturday from a few weeks ago (I think - not too sure).

I am back from holidays

Hey everyone. Well we are back. We are so thankful that our trip up to NSW didn't end in any flooding (for us) but boy was there a lot of rain up there when we went and can so understand why it is so flooded. Thinking about all those people in QLD who have lost everything in the floods and also to all those who have lost loved ones. So sorry for your loss.

We had a great time away but am so thankful to be home. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed. I have had the worst nights sleep the last 3 nights and if I don't get a good one tonight I think I might blow a gasket.

Here is a couple of my kids. Will post some of the beach hopefully next week.

SBS Preview Day 4

Okay lovelies I am officially on holidays. We leave for our holiday up on the NSW Coast today. We have 3 half days of the car and then we are there. Hopefully there won't be too much of a disruption for us on our way with all the floods. I was asking my hubby whether we get our money back if we can't get up there but he is also unsure. I hope so. Praying for lots of sun and lots of fun. I will be gone until the 14th so there will be no posts for me - yep I have been very slack and have not even scheduled posts - I need a well deserved break away from it all. Sorry I have been slack lately but I (like you all) do have a life outside of crafting.

Happy 7th Wedding Anniversary to me

I made this card for my hubby for our 7th Anniversary today. It is traditionally the 'Copper' Anniversary but I couldn't any copper to go on my card so this will have to do. I used Mercius from The Steampunk Gang digi's by Simply Betty Stamps.

It is truly hard to think that it has been 7years we have been married but it has been a long long time and am still in love with my man. Happy Anniversary darling hubby.

Simply Betty Valentine Emo Previews

We have a fabulous release for you this week at Simply Betty Stamps and we are kicking off the previews today with Betty from the new Simply Betty Valentine Emo line. I am so very excited. They are just as fab as all the other gorgeous Emo's so you need to check out the blog right now.
