Spring Dandelion Day 2 preview

Oh wow did you see yesterday's post. Hope so - I just love my lovely Ladybug stamp from Spesch stamps. Today we have the lovely Spring Dandelion stamp. He almost looks like a little pixie as I can imagine him running around the garden blowing all these. My kids and I do the same thing in the backyard but you have to make a wish when you blow. LOL. The funny thing is that my kids end up spitting everywhere instead of blowing - LOL - they will get there eventually. Hahaha.

I went with this gorgeous stamp from the Hoppy Easter collection that I purchased from Magnolia Down Under and the gorgeous papers are also from the same range as the stamp. Afternoon everyone. Wow what a mad week I have had this week. I must admit that I was blown away with the response for the Freebie on Spesch Stamps and so happy that you all liked her so much. The only problem was that my email got so full that some people couldn't email me. Thankfully most people got the stamp. If you didn't she is available to buy on my Etsy Store.

Anyway this card was made with the Egg stamp from Spesch Stamps for three challenges. The sketch was from The Pink Elepant and both PaperPlay challenges and Dare you to digi Stamp Friday Challenge have a theme of Easter so this is the perfect stamp.

I added some gorgeous Gardenias and some ribbon I got from my local haberdashery store. This BasicGrey DP has been sitting in my paper rack waiting to be used but haven't had the chance. Thought today was the perfect opportunity.

Happy Birthday Tyler

I will be quick as it is my Big Boy's 5th Birthday today and I don't want to be on here for too long.

I am not good with boy cards but really love how this worked out. My son Tyler is obsessed with Ben 10 and I searched and searched for a Ben 10 card in the shops but there was nothing. So a search online and I printed this off and coloured him in. I love it and Tyler did too.

Bling it up

Sweet Pea stamps with Friday Sketchers

Good morning everyone. I really can't believe it is the weekend already. Gosh the weeks are going so quickly. So little time to do more crafting LOL. Hubby is on holidays for 3wks from yesterday - so happy and so looking forward to some sleep ins. We will see I guess.

Hmmm my card. This was made for Friday Sketchers with this wonderful sketch by Claudia. I decided to use my Sweet Pea images that the lovely Sammi sent to me so I could have a play. Now I will admit that I have been a fan of these stamps for a little while but when I got the images to have a play - I didn't know whether I liked them but boy did that change when I started colouring her in. I loved colouring this baby. Absolutely wonderful. I am very excited as one of my fellow MDUC team mates will be selling them very soon on her online shop so if you are in Australia and want the Sweet Pea stamps check out Kristy's blog. She will be launching very soon.

A little something for a little someone

Oh good morning. Can you believe it has taken me this long to get a chance to play with Bonnie from Spesch Stamps. I have been so busy and trying to do other stuff at the same time. You might be seeng this gorgeous stamp and others in Clear Polymer. If you pop on over to Spesch stamps and just let me know which ones you would love as an actual stamp not just digital - your wish may come true. LOL.

On to the card. I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I think it is very fitting to have lots of flowers surrounding this gorgeous girl and I must say she has been very popular. I just love her and as I said it has taken me a while but was able to finally use her. Love this DP from SU and will be sad when I have used it all.

Mad for Markers Skin Colouring Tutorial

Good morning everyone. This is my first post for Mad for Markers and I am very excited to bring you my very first Copic tutorial. Now I have to add before I get started that I am not Copic certified, this is just the way I colour with my markers.

You will need:
- Neenah Solar White Classic Crest card
- Image - baby Lachlan from Spesch stamps
- Copics - E00, E51, E21, E02, E000 (although I didn't use for this image).

Blank image

Colour the whole image in with E00.

With the E51 I put down some colour where there would be a shadow.

Next I use my E21 to go over the E51 to create a darker shadow.

With the E02 I create an even darker shadow where it would be the darkest and also put some pinkness in to the cheeks.

I then blend in all the colours with the E00 again.

There you have the image's skin all coloured in. I know a lot of people who do darkest to lightest which is fine - I used to do the same thing. But I found this is easier for me. Hope you got something out of my tutorial. I will do another one for clothing very soon.

Introducing Bree

Morning all. Phew it has been a busy morning again this morning. Kinder drop off, off to the supermarket for some supplies and then to the petrol station to fill up the car that was nearly empty - gosh petrol is so expensive now. I remember when it used to only cost $30 to fill up my car. That was 11yrs ago but even still. LOL. Makes me feel old.

This gorgeous digital stamp was designed by Christina once again for Spesch Stamps. It really is so weird that everyone in blogland is in so many different countries with so many different seasons. We are in Autumn right now but most of the rest of the world is in Spring. I thought I would get Christina to do a Summer stamp and I have named her Bree. She is available in store later today.

Baby Lachlan

Good morning everyone. What a busy time it is for me at the moment. But in a good way - always. I decided to make a card with one of my own designs for Spesch Stamps. His name is Lachlan. Yes it is my sons name but he does look a lot like my bald little man when he was a baby. LOL.

I made this card with the sketch from Stamp with Fun.
I loved using this sketch and even copied some of it for the inside. What do you think....???? LOL. Cupcake Craft Challenges have a challenge this week of 'Going Green' - so you have to use Green on your card so this DP was perfect. Have a good one.
