Mad for Markers with Magnolia

Are you all shocked....????? No Sweet Pea image. LOL. I know I know weird huh....!!!!! Hehehehe. I thought I would do something different this week for Mad for Markers this week. Even though it is not my post week I like having wonderful creations on my blog. What do you reckon....????

I must say that I am in love with the new Fairytale Collection from Magnolia. I have bought lots of the new stamps and am annoyed with myself for not
buying the Spring kit but after the Winter kit (which wasn't all that nice) I decided to skip this collection. How silly do I feel now. LOL. Anyway I have them now so no whinging from me anymore. Hahaha. I would like to thank Sammi for supplying me with these gorgeous stamped images until my stamps arrived. Woot. Hahaha.

So this card was made for the Just Magnolia challenge of 'It take two', for Papertake Weekly Challenge with a challenge of Shiney, Sparkly and Special, and also my DT card for Mad for Markers. One of the things I did do on this card is I masked off the arch for the window and airbrushed C10 to the background. I was going to go for blue background but she is inside and it is supposed to be dark LOL. I used a pink Copic atyou Spica pen on the "Make a Wish" sentiment but unfortunately the Spica pens don't show up in photos. It does look good IRL.
Copic markers used:
Hair: E29, 39, 35, 33, 31
Clothes: RV0000, 000, 00, 02
Bricks: C7, 5, 3, 1, 0, blender.
Skin: E000, 00, 51, 21, 02
Wood: E49, 47, 45, 43.
Background: C10 - Copic ABS2.
Spica pen - pink
Products: Copic markers & ABS3 from Mad for Markers; Magnolia stamps; BasicGrey DP; SU card; ribbon; Daisy D's sentiment stamp; SU ink; Helmar Scrapdots; Stickles Ice.

Sketch Saturday

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend with lots of goodies for all the mum's. I had a great one but still should have had an early night. Was feeling very tired yesterday and last night but had to sit up and watch Vampire Diaries. LOL. I love that show. Hmmmm Daymon.

Anyway - enough babbling. I made this card with the sketch from Sketch Saturday. I think it is a great sketch. Might be one I have to use again. I used one of my Magnolia's that Sammi stamped up for me from the Summer kit - Thanks Sammi - once again.
Products: Magnolia stamp; Grace Taylor clear stamp; Kaisercraft Tea at Elsie's DP; Nellie Snellen punches; distress ink; Kaisercraft pearls; Helmar scrapdots; Dimensional dots; Oval nesties.

My Queen Princess

Good morning everyone. Happy Mothers Day. What a great morning I have had. I had a sleep in and got a big slow cooker and a pair of slippers Yay....!!!!!!!

Now the reason for my post heading - she isn't a Queen. I think of this gorgeous character from Spesch Stamps is more like a Princess than a Queen so she is my Princess hahahaha.

I made this card for Friday Sketchers. I gotta say that I love these papers by Papermania - it is the wedding DP's but thought they are perfect colours for this gorgeous gal. Unfortunately one thing you can't see is the Copic atyou Spica pen that is on her pearls etc. They just don't photograph very well.

Woo hoo I am certified...!!!!!!!

I am so happy to say that I am now a Copic Certified Designer. Yay....!!!!
As my fellow teammate said - this would not have been possible if it weren't for Sammi and her great store Mad for Markers. So a big big "Thank You" goes to Sammi - you have made
it possible for me to accomplish one of my dreams since I started using markers.

Today was such a fun day. Marianne Walker is the funniest person and gosh a little crazy LOL.
She is certainly a great teacher and I have a lot of things I need to practice practice.
Unfortunately one of the drawbacks is I now want an air compressor which
costs about $450. Ouch...!!! I think it might be so worth it so now have to save
all my pennies so I can get one. Yay...!!!! Hehehe.

Thought I would show you a few pictures taken today.
Emma, Mandi and Debra.
It was so nice to meet all of these lovelies.
I made a few new friends today too. It was so nice to be in a room full of
all lovers of Copics and people who have so much in common with myself.

Emma, Debra & myself.
Yuck I hate photos of myself. LOL.

Marianne demonstrating light source/ shadow colouring.

It was a fabulous day today and I would also like to thank Lori Craig and Copic Australia
who bought these wonderful trainers here from the US just to teach us plebs. LOL.
"Crikey Stars....!!!!!"
Bahahaha
Had to be there today to know what that means.

Monochrome with M4M

Good morning good morning. Welcome to another Thursday which is my day at Mad for Markers. This week again I have for you another Monochrome card. That's right I managed to get another done - thank goodness. LOL. It took me a while as I had no idea what colours I would use after doing pink last week hehehe. No matter. I used one of my Pendant nesties and gosh I think I am going to have to invest in a proper border one. It is so time consuming doing all those pendants down the bottom of the card. The rhinestones on the card have been coloured with a Copic marker to match the colours on the image.

This card was also made with the sketch from Sweet Pea Stampers and was also made for the Bizzy Becs customers Embellishments and Bling May Challenge.

Not feeling the best today. I have a cold - thank you my little miss. She has been sick too. It started on Saturday and I woke up on Monday (as you know) with a cold. Ahhhh. It is a pain - and unfortunately because my little miss is sick she won't be able to go to daycare tomorrow - my only morning off from the kids. Oh well at least I will have the whole of Saturday away from them at the Copic Certification class. Woot. I am so looking forward to it and meeting Debra, Mandi, and Emma.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 51, 21, 02.
Hair: E29, 39, 37, 35, 33, 31, Colourless blender
Everything else: E37, 35, 34, 31, blender.

Sophie with Friday Sketchers

Evening everyone. Hope you are all well. I am unfortunately suffering from the early stages of a cold. Grrrr....!!!!! I have not suffered from one in a long long time and I have forgotten how it feels. Hopefully it goes away quickly.

Anyway I had a fabulous time away on Saturday night without the kids. My BIL and his girlfriend looked after the kids and had a great time. My little girl cried her eyes out when we left. The poor thing. A trip to the park fixed that.

On to my card. This card was made with a Spesch Stamps digital stamp - Sophie. I love her. She really is one of my favourites - maybe because she was one of my first stamps designed for me. No matter. LOL. I made this card with the sketch from Friday Sketchers. The flowers were made with my new Nellie Snellen punch and emboss kit. I am so wrapped. I love it. Can't wait to make some more flowers. Enjoy.

MDUC Sketch

OMG I am so sorry I didn't have this up earlier. I went away yesterday and didn't get back until about an hour ago and thought I had scheduled the post. Oooooppssss....!!!!!!

Okay today we have a wonderful sketch designed by Kellie for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge this week. I thought I would use one of my older stamps from last years Summer collection as I had this gorgeous DP from My Minds Eye that I had to use. LOL. Don't you just love this sketch.
