Colouring Embellisments

Oh my gosh it is another challenge. The time does fly quickly but this time we have some exciting new things for you to do over at Mad for Markers challenges, like colouring embellishments. I love airbrushing things with my Copics and flowers are a big one for me. In the card below I used R85 and YR12 to colour my flowers with my air brush. The pearl brad was coloured with B21. Hope you get some inspiration. And remember the possibilities are endless. Imagine shoes sprayed or coloured with your copics. Onesies for babies with an image stamped and then coloured with your markers.

I am entering this card in the Truly Scrumptious and A Spoon Full of Sugar with a 'theme' of 'Anything Goes'. Perfect.
Enjoy....!!!!
Just thought I would show you all the markers I used
on this image (excluding the skin colours). Lots of markers.

SSS108 with CC Designs

Morning once again. Wow have you noticed that I have been posting every day...??? Well I have some serious Mojo at the moment so taking advantage of that as much as I can, so that means making lots of cards.

I have had this digital stamp for a while but thought it was high time to make something with her. I coloured her up and then decided I would use the sketch from The Sweet Stop. I made it very simple as the papers are very busy and so is the coloured image. You can't see the sentiment stamp very well but is says 'Best Wishes'. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Friend

Good morning, good morning. *Yawn*. I really do need to get earlier nights but I think these early mornings are killing me. LOL. I am wearing myself out.

How are we all this morning. Freezing like we are here in Melbourne, Australia or are you in a sunny part of the world. Wherever you are hope you are well.

Enough babble. I made this card with the sketch from The Sweet Stop but unfortunately with blogger being down last week I was unable to put up on here and thus missed the cut off for the challenge. Seeing I made the effort I still decided to post on here anyway.

I made this card using the 352gsm Neenah card available at Mad for Markers. Again I was light of hand so no bleeding (geez I must be getting good at this stuff LOL). I ought to be - I am off to the intermediate Copic Certification next month. Can't wait. Hopefully I will see some familiar faces and meets some new ones too. Unfortunately I didn't write down the markers I used for this card. My bad. Sorry. If you need to know i am sure I could find them. The chipboard butterfly was airbrushed with a Spica pen. Yep you can use them too and it comes out brilliant. Give it a go if you have the ABS. You will love the effect. Anyway enjoy.

Make it Lacy

Morning. Ahhh it is Monday already. Where does the time go....???? Wish we could have a 3day weekend but alas not to be.

Today I have a card made for the Just Magnolia challenge - 'Make it Lacy'. I actually made this card when blogger was down and had no idea what the JM challenge was. Good thing I did as it fit in perfectly. Thought I would try something different with the colouring and used E50 for shading/shadow instead of a grey for the white bits. Looks a little more vintagy but will have to keep working on it.
Again I used the Neenah 352gsm card from Mad for Markers and it coloured really well this time. Just have to make sure I don't over colour which is exactly what I did this time.

SWF #110

***Scroll down for the Simply Betty Stamps Blog hop post****

Good morning everyone. How are we all this fabulous Sunday morning....??? We are all good here. My little miss woke me up at 4.30am due to a sore throat and proceeded to sing out for every half hour after that. So much for a good sleep (went to bed early and everything LOL). No matter. I will survive.

This morning I have a card made with the sketch from Stamp with Fun. I had lots of fun with this one - because I just love this stamp and also because these papers are some of my favourites that I am so happy I could use on a card other than a Christmas card. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

It's a hop.....!!!!!

Whew you made it! Well almost! If you have come from Suzi blog than you are definately in the right place. Today our last image from Simply Betty Stamps Teen Scene stamps featuring Chaos and Christian!

This is what Betty had to say about the new stamps:
Teen Scene stamps are only available in Red Rubber form, cushion mounted and cut around the stamp. I know this is going to be hard for some of you, but please understand that with recent discoveries of image swapping and sharing of some of my digis, I am compelled to protect my investment. The best way for me to do this is to start eliminating digis and start producing more rubber and clear stamps. I am very sorry that I have been forced to do this, but I do hope you all understand where I am coming from.

After you hop go back to the Simply Betty Blog and tell Betty which was your favorite and why... do any of these remind you or yourself or someone in your family? Any funny story behind that? Let me know for your chance to win one of the following:

1st Prize: Lynx & London and Louie & Lola rubber stamps
2nd Prize: Max & Miller and Batty & Betty rubber stamps
3rd Prize: Raven & Rio and Chaos & Christian rubber stamps
4th Prize: Sassy Witch Mina and Pumpkin Queen Lucy rubber stamps

Hang me out to dry

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all travelling well.

Today I am here to show you a card I made for the Mad for Markers 'Greys' challenge that we currently have on. The challenge is to use grey on your creation. Be it colouring the whole image grey or making it an accent or shading colour (like I have done) - just use grey.

I used the new clear stamp I purchased from Funkykits. It is a Gorjuss stamp but is not a Sugar Nellie one it is actually by Santoro. Anyway - she was wonderful to colour and just love her socks. Hanging ones that is LOL.

Preview Day 4

Welcome to day 4 of the Simply Betty Teen Scene previews.
Are you all excited yet...???
This is Batty and Betty. You have to read
the story that Betty wrote on the Simply Betty
Blog about this stamp. It really is hilarious.

First Mini World stamp creation

Over the last month or so I have been buying Magnolia Mini World stamps here and there and have not been using them. I must admit I have gone a little crazy with them and found that I hadn't used any yet. So I thought I would use this little baby and make a couple of gift tags for Christmas. Over at the Bizzy Becs Challenge Blog the May challenge is to 'Create a Tag'. So here they are. I used my new Spellbinders that the gorgeous Betty at SBS was able to get for me. There really isn't anything fancy about these. They are coloured on 352gsm card from Neenah that I purchased from Mad for Markers. It is great card and I managed not to over blend so no bleeding this time.

Thought I would show you how small they are.
Of course if you want to write on them, just turn them over and write the name of whom is receiving the gift.
