Everyone says what lovely, beautiful, stunning cards they are but not willing to buy them for $3 each - What the.....!!!!!!! Come on $3 for a handmade card - one of a kind. Hmmmm let me know please. TIA.

There is coloured and uncoloured elements so if you are feeling lazy than you can just print off the coloured essentials. I decided not to be lazy LOL. I coloured this up for I am sure the many Birthday card I will have to give out for my sons friends. Hope you like.

My week in nearly over woo hoo. In fact I am probably snuggled up in bed whilst you read this (if you are still reading LOL). I am super excited as I am having a girls night tomorrow night. I am off to a friends place at lunchtime and will be off to the city where we will be doing shopping, staying the night (we have a fab hotel room) and a night of eating, drinking and hopefully some crazy, silly dancing thrown in there. LOL. It has been over 10yrs since I have been to a nightclub and one of my GF's wants to go to a club. That will be interesting LOL. I have no idea what to expect. I think I am too old for that stuff - shhhhhhh don't tell anyone. hahahahaha. I am sure we will be having lots of fun. No more posts from me for the weekend. Make sure you come back on Monday for my Mad for Markers post to bring in a new challenge and to have a sneak peek of one of the new Halloween stamps from Spesch Stamps. Enjoy your weekend.

Simply Betty Challenges #1

Hello hello. Hope we are doing well. Did you enjoy the Simply Betty Blog hop yesterday...??? I did and the DT did an amazing job but then again it wasn't hard when you have such great stamps to create with LOL.

Today is the first challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges. Challenge #1 is to take inspiration from this picture below and make something.
Now I love the colours and the pattern on the stockings so decided to use both. I used Drew from the Punky Teens range and coloured her up. Isn't she the best....???!!!! It seriously wasn't hard to match the colours with my Copics. LOL. You can grab Drew at the Simply Betty store here.

The quote on the card is from the Inkadinkado Kids Quotes. I just love them and have two sets now - woo hoo. The quote was coloured in with Prismacolor pencils and odorless spirits.
Why don't you pop in to the Simply Betty Challenges blog and see the rest of the DT's work - I tell you you won't be disappointed.

You scream, I scream.....

.....we all scream for ice cream.

Good morning once again lovely ladies. This fortnight at The Lollipop Ladies we have these Yummy icecreams as inspiration. The added option is to use Kraft on your project. I had to use this fabulous image from Meljens for Whimsy Stamps (that the very generous Erin bought for me). I bought this DP specifically for this challenge. As soon as I saw it I thought it would be perfect. Hope you have been inspired. Take a look at the other DT's work by popping in to The Lollipop ladies blog.
This is the first post from me today. Make sure you pop back later today for the Blog Hop for Simply Betty Stamps. Woo hoo.

Kisses for Brenda

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was a very very lazy one, so much so that I cancelled on one of my good friends on Friday and spent a lot of time in my PJ's. LOL. Yesterday I decided to make a scrapbooking LO of this gorgeous photo of my sister Brenda and my little girl Ashley. This is such a sweet photo - it has to be one of my favourites from my sister's wedding.
The DP is from Papermania. Unfortunately it is only 8x8" so I had to think outside the box a little, but do love the way it turned out.
I have been looking for sketches for SB LO's and have finally found a great site that has just that. It is called Pencil Lines . If you are stuck for idea than this is the perfect site. I will try and do some of their sketches soon.

Bonnie on Swing

Hey everyone. Hope we are having a wonderful weekend. I am just super. Of course, I won't complain coz that is what I always do and you don't want to hear it. LOL.

Thought I would show you this stamp by Spesch Stamps that was released on the 8th September. I love this stamp and Bonnie's little bunny is so so so cute. The DP is the Jack n' Jill papers from Prima. I just love them. I must say though that for some reason they aren't cut square. Two of the cuts are crooked and you really have to cut them down. Oops here I go again - I can't stop complaining. Sorry. Hahahaha. Anyway here it is and you can get this stamp and the others released on Wednesday here.

Horus in Bright

Morning everyone. Just a quick one as I wanted to get this in to the Sketch Saturday challenge this week before it closed. This is the gorgeous Horus roasting Marshmellows by The Stamping Bazaar. I really do love this stamp. His is very very cute. I had to do him nice and bright. I saw this DP and thought it was perfect for him. So here it is.

Ahhh it is Saturday - finally. Of course my hubby has a sleep in this morning but I have mine tomorrow. Am so looking forward to that very much. Been working on lots of DT work and can't wait to show you all. Have a good one.

Spots and Stripes

Good evening everyone. TGIF. The week has been a quiet and lazy one for me, although I have been creating up a storm but you guessed it - most of it I can't show you just yet. LOL. Tonight however I can show you my DT card for Stamp Something Challenges of 'Spots and Stripes'. I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop challenge blog and I used a super funky stamp from
Simply Betty Stamps. This handsome boy is Miller and don't you just love his pet lizard. So cheeky and I find it exceedingly hard to make boy cards as I just want to add flowers or lots of embellishments but feel I need to KISS. So here it is in it's simplest form LOL. Hope you like. Make sure you check out the rest of the DT's fabulous work over at the Stamp Something blog.
