Morning everyone. Just thought I would show you a card I made for my Mad for Markers Thursday post. Over at Mad for Markers challenges this month the challenge is to use: BG, YR and RV (all of them) on the one creation. After last weeks post I was stuck as to what colours to use as I didn't want to use the same ones but came up with these.

I got my inspiration from Chrissy at Paper, Ink, Color! I am in awe of her colouring ability and watch her tutorials all the time. So much detail in one little image.

Simply Sassy Guest DT call

Simply Sassy Stamps by Sugar Nellie are having a Guest DT call - go here for more details. So I thought why not. I love these gorgeous stamps and I have 5 of them - wish I had more so decided to make a couple of cards with the sketch provided for the call.

Just Magnolia 101

Good morning good morning. How are all of you gorgeous peeps out there....??? Here in the land of Oz it is very cool and raining. Blah....!!!! LOL. It is one of those days where you just want to sit in front of the TV and watch DVD's all day - which is probably what we are going to do. At least I am. Thankfully it is the school holidays so no running around to school and Kinder Yay...!!

Okay so this card was made for this weeks Just Magnolia challenge 101 - A sketch. I haven't joined in a JM challenge for a while and 'needed' to use my new stamps that I got from Bizzy Becs with the new Magnolia range. So cute. Am awaiting some from the Mini range which I preordered from Bec too. Hope you like.

New Chibi's @ Spesch

Sneak Peek for Spesch

Good morning all. I so enjoy being the boss over at Spesch Stamps. I get to do whatever I like - like showing you an early preview of a stamp to be released tomorrow 8th April with three new Chibi stamps. This one is 'Dena'. I actually put a nose on her as I just didn't like that she didn't have one but she looks just as good without it. I made this card for the Mad for Markers challenge currently running which is to use YR, BG & RV colours on your creation. I have used all of them and here is the end result. I made this card with the fab sketch from over at Sketch Saturday. Hope you like.

Cheeky Beach

Morning everyone. Hope you are all well. I am still tired from the weekend but seriously had such a wonderful time you wouldn't believe especially when I went out to dinner on Saturday night with the fabulous Sammi and Marcia and of course Sammi's sweet hubby, Guy (pronounced Gee).

At the Paperific Craft Show I put this card up on the wall to show the stamps that Sammi had available at the Mad for Markers stall and forgot to take a photo of it beforehand - so here it is. I really like this Cheeky Beach stamp (available at Mad for Markers). So cute (another one).

Airbrush System with Spica Pens

Over this past weekend Mad for Markers were at the Paperific Craft Show at the Royal Melbourne Show Grounds. We all had an absolute ball and I met so many gorgeous crafting friends - Hello to you all.

At the show we had Mandy from Copic Australia (Express Graphics) come over and show us how to use the Copic Airbrush System with the Atyou Spica pens. It takes a lot of getting used to as you can't sit the pen in the 'barrel' (so to speak) but it is effective. Unfortunately these photos don't do it justice. It is so much more sparky in real life. I used the TGF Syren stamp that I purchased from Mad for Markers (Sammi) at the show. I love colouring her hair. So cute.

I did a side view just to show you the sparkle on the card airbrushed but still

doesn't look quite as nice as IRL.

I airbrushed the swirls with Purple Spica pen.

.....boy and a girl. LOL.

Hey everyone. I have a couple of cards for you that I made with the gorgeous Panda stamp by La La Land Crafts Stamps which you can get from Mad for Markers here. I must say this stamp is so easy to colour and is fantastic for those gorgeous new baby cards you make (as per my cards).

I tried a couple of scoring/embossing techniques with these cards. On the boy card I used my square nesties and embossed them. I think the effect came out nice and crisp and clean. The girl card I used my bone scorer and a ruler and made the lines. Even though I do like the girl card I prefer the boy one better. What do you think...??? Would love to know your opinion.

The rhinestones were coloured with copic markers.

Preview Day 5 @ Simply Betty

Hey everyone. What a wild day the weather has been here in Melbourne, Australia. Phew....!!!! I got absolutely soaked picking up my eldest at school. Thankfully I didn't have the other two with me or we all would have been drowned.
