Sweet Pea with Friday Sketchers

Good morning everyone. Hope we are all well. We are good here apart from me feeling not 100% and having no idea why. No matter.

I made this simple. I didn't want to put too many embellishments on here as the DP and image are all very busy already. As some of you already know this DP by Amy Butler will always be my favourite and I am nearly out of it :( boo hoo. LOL. Thought I would give it a go with a Sweet Pea image and the sketch from Friday Sketchers. I actually forgot about the ribbon/strip through the middle of the card so had to put on top and it actually looks better that it would if it were underneath. So I guess your mistakes make things look better sometimes. LOL.
It is a miserable Sunday here in Melbourne. It is raining has been raining all night and you would think it were Winter LOL. My hubby thinks it is Spring rain as the drops are so big. Meh we are nearly there. Not too long until the end of the month. Man I just don't know where the time goes. Have a good one.

Joy

Another Christmas card.
I must admit that the card I posted yesterday wasn't exactly a nothing card.
I made that and this card for the TGF Critter Crew DT call.
Hmmm as you can tell I didn't get on the team but I
will keep trying.
Hope you all have a great Saturday. My folks are coming down for a visit.
I really hate being so far away from them but hubby wants to stay in Melbourne
so not much I can do about it.
Have another headache today. Getting a bit annoying having them constantly again.
Ahhhhh I don't know what is wrong with my body. I need a new one.

Once upon a time...

Good evening everyone. Yep it is evening here. 11pm to be exact. I am most likely in bed by now that is why this is scheduled LOL. Anyway. No babbling.

This card is for Stamp Something Challenge of 'Fairytale Something'. This week our wonderful sponsor is Magnolia-Licious. Ohhhh my favourite place to shop. LOL. I left it pretty simple as I just love this DP from Magnolia. Pretty cute isn't it. This and the two stamps used on this card can all be purchased from Magnolia-Licious. Hope you get some inspiration from my card.

Critter Xmas

This card is pretty much a nothing card. I just made it.
I love these cuties from TGF so thought it was a good opportunity to
get some more Christmas card made.

WOYWW & Tiddly Ink

Hello everyone. Sorry for such a late post but am trying to get things organised for my day at the Melbourne Paperific Fair at the end of this month. The fabulous Sammi from Mad for Markers is having a stall at the fair and was generous enough to give me a little space so I can sell some of my clear stamps. If you are in Melbourne on the weekend of the 27th August come and visit me and Sammi. We would love to meet you all. I will only be there on the Friday but Sammi will be there the whole weekend.

As you can see in my WOYWW photo I have lots of Spesch stamps stamped out and in the process of masking and airbrushing them all so I can make my own little tabs/flags (so to speak). I received a fabulous package in the mail yesterday (of which I didn't realize I had won). I won one of Amy Young's candy's for her new Halloween stamps for ATS so that was a wonderful surprise.

I made this card for the Tiddly Inks challenge of 'Fit for a Princess' cards but I didn't realize it ended on Monday so I missed the cut off. Ooopppssss....!!!! Will try and fit in another card for the current challenge which is 'Windows'.

Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 21
Dress: R00, R0000, R11, R12
Tie: C9, C7, C5
Crown/staff: C1, C3, C5, YR21

Acetate fun

Morning all. Is it Friday already....???? LOL. The weekends go so quickly and the weeks so slowly. Oh well at least I have my card making to keep me occupied.

Okay on to my card. This month at Just Magnolia we have been asked to use Acetate on your creation. I couldn't figure out what to do and then a light went off. I hadn't used my Magnolia Doo-hickey Peony's yet so here they are in their glory. I love die cutters. They are just so easy to use. I thought I would go with an easel card. The card size is 4"x6". I find it hard to find 6x6" envelopes and I do not have a scor- pal so this size will have to do.
The whole image was coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I do like using the pencils but just can't seem to get the skin colour quite dark enough. If anyone has alternatives to Light Peach, Peach and rosy pink let me now - that would be helpful.
This stamp is one of my first and still favourite Magnolia stamp. She is gorgeous. I just love how shy and loving she looks.
Close up of the Peony's.

Bikkie the Platypus

Morning all. Will make this quick as not feeling 100%.

This card was made with the gorgeous Bikkie platypus from the Stamping Bazaar. He is so so so cute. I just loved colouring him up. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers . Nice and simple. I didn't make the tag so it can be pulled out. Thought there was no point - I just like the look of it. My card is also quite simple. I find it hard to put many elements on to a male card.

Fairytale Release Day by Sylvia

Good morning good morning. Oh my I am so super excited. The very talented Sylvia has designed some fabulous stamps for us at Spesch Stamps. I just love them. They really are gorgeous. Sylvia has been designing childrens illustrations for a while and when I asked her to design for us at Spesch she was rapt. She is very talented. You need to check out her work here.

Today I am showing you two of the four stamps available.

Birdy in Love (my fav)
Princess with cake
These really were fun to colour but the best thing about these two is you get two for one for each design. Can you see it....??? The Birdy in love can be cropped to have just the gorgeous little bird and the cake stamp can have the little dog cropped and used as a stand alone stamp too. Cool huh....!!!!

The four new stamps will be available later this morning. Make sure you check out the DT's work on the Spesch blog. You won't be disappointed. The girls have done a fabulous job.
