Fairy Birthday Wishes

Good morning everyone. How are all the Copic lovers out there....??? Hope we are all well. It is still very hot here in Australia - at least where I am - good old Melbourne. Phew...!!! Bring on Winter. I am sick of this heat.

Today I bring you a card made with the gorgeous Wishes from Some Odd Girl - she is one of the Nouveau Girls and can be purchased in store at Mad for Markers here. I loved her the minute I saw her and knew right away that I had to buy her. Ain't she the bomb. LOL. Ok being pathetic I know but I do love this stamp.

This card was made by following the sketch at The Sweet Stop. I made the 'ribbon' by sewing a length of crepe paper down the middle and pulling one of the threads to ruffle it. I love how it turned out.

Stamp with Fun #152

Hello everyone. Wow I have been so slack. Found other interests and crafts to do other than card making and scrapbooking so that has kept me really occupied, but I managed to get this done for Stamp With Fun #152 with this wonderful sketch. I found these stamps on Etsy just yesterday. This is Bibi Balloons and is by MayzyArt. I have purchased three more already and in the process of deciding which challenge to use them for - if I can get them done soon of course.

Who wants to build a house...??

Oh lordy...!!! I have been looking for templates for house to 'build' or should I say make for Christmas this year (yes I am getting a bit ahead of myself). If you are interested in approximately 123 templates then go here to Mel Stampz blog and check them out. There are a couple that don't work but most you can download a template. Woot. I am super excited.

Good afternoon my darlings. Hope we are all doing super duper well. Being Friday is it Friday Sketch Challenge day and this fortnight we have another fabulous sketch by Genevieve. What a super super sketch. I love it. In fact I actually made two cards with it. Will show you the other next week but today I have this first birthday card for the little boy in your life. This image is from Mo Manning and I have had it coloured for a while but was trying to find the right project for him and this is it. Hope you like. Good morning everyone! I am excited to post today as it is the start of our birthday celebrations.. on this date in 2010 I nervously sat in the NSW Dept of Fair Trading to see if I could register the name Mad for Markers... and voila! The name was registered... the next month was spent getting in stock and waiting for the website to be designed and then for me to enter all the product... on the 22 March 2010 the website went LIVE!! And so we are celebrating Mad for Markers birthday ALL MONTH LONG!!

I am very grateful to my Customers, Readers, Design Team and of course my friends and family to help Mad for Markers continue! Without you all I would just be sitting here with a bunch of markers hehe!! This way I get to share my bunches of markers - SO THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

So what's going to happen all month you ask??

Well.. we will have a bunch of giveaways... you will be able to enter each day on either the blog here or on our facebook page depending where the giveaway is held ... We have... a sample pack of Xpress It blending card for each day of the month, a load of digi images, Spicas and maybe more... so don't miss out!!

Friday Sketch #11 and M4M

Good afternoon all my lovely friends. Hope we are all well. Just a quick one. We have another fabulous sketch from Genevieve this fortnight over at Friday Sketch Challenge. I used the TGF Wedding image. Can't remember the name of it. LOL. Hopeless. I made this card for one of my school mum friends who knows I make cards. Thankfully it was a hit.

I combined this with my M4M post as my little girl went in to hospital to get some dental work done under anesthetic and I didn't want to do two posts. Lazy I know. All went well with my little girl and she is back to her normal self.

I decorated the middle of the card as well.

Spesch Release Day

Good morning peeps. Sorry for the lateness of my post - I had school testing for my son who just started prep and it took forever. No matter.

Today we have a new release for Spesch Stamps. We have some super cute stamps for you from Jessica once again. Today I am showing you Butterfly Girl and Cosmic Girl.

Friday Sketch Challenge #10 & Sneak Peek

Yep I am back with a new sketch for Friday Sketch Challenge and also a sneak peek of one of the stamps that will be for sale at Spesch Stamps on the 8th of Feb. Our fabulous Genevieve has come up with another amazing sketch for us this week. She is on a roll and she should be super proud of herself. Without further delay - here is my card and our 'Love' stamp from Spesch.

What an awesome day we are having here today - at least we are supposed to. The sun is shining and it is nice and warm. What everyone wants when it is Summer. The best part is - my boys started their first day of school yesterday (for the year) - my youngest son started Prep and my big boy is in Grade 1. So proud of my boys. My little Miss is off to Kinder this year. I won't know what to do with myself with three mornings a week. Yay....!!! I am kinda excited. Can't you tell LOL.

Have we all got our Valentine's cards done. I have only done a couple - I only need to give one out to my darling hubby. I try and make love cards so you can give to friends as well.

Today being a Friday means it is my Mad for Markers day. I used 'In Stitches Tia' stamp - she is available as a set here. She is great to colour. Have a wonderful day - and weekend.
