WOYWW & Spesch projects

Morning everyone. Phew I have been a little busy and have had no motivation to do things I 'have' to do. This Friday the gorgeous Sammi from Mad for Markers has given me a little space in her stall at the Melbourne Paperific Fair. I will be forever grateful to her for it. You rock sweets. At least I can do the DT thing for Sammi at the Fair by colouring up some images to show some colouring with Copics. If you are in Melbourne this weekend you should stop by and say hello to Sammi and the other Mad for Markers girls who will be helping out. The photo above is what I have been working on. I airbrushed around all of the stamps that we will be selling at the fair and laminated them so they don't get destroyed. The photo below are my boxes I will be taking with me with my stamps, banner and cards to hang off the curtains. Phew. So much to do. I get so nervous about these things even when I shouldn't. Bye for now.

2 Cute Rubber Stamps

Oh wow I forgot I made this card last week and unfortunately the challenge I made it for has been and gone. I think it was Sketch Saturday or something. Sorry can't be more specific. LOL.

I thought I would show it off as I put a lot of work into making this gorgeous stamp look good. This stamp is called 'Butterfly Bear' and comes from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. Heidi the owner and artist of 2 Cute is coming up with 'the' cutest designs. They currently have a DT call going so if you like this stamp go check out the other stamps.

Simply Betty Challenges

Good morning everyone. What a freezing morning it is here in Australia. My gosh. Unfortunately I decided last night to turn our central heating off completely just to see if it made a difference to when the boys woke up in the morning (my theory was that it woke them in the morning). When I turned it on this morning to warm our iceblock up it tripped the safety switch and I only got the power back when I turned the heater unit off completely at the power switch. Such a pain. When it was 'fixed' hubby said the same thing happened when the technician turned it on so hoping it is the same thing and will be covered under the power board warranty. Am hoping I am right. LOL.

Okay enough of my boring life problems. LOL. I made this card for the Simply Betty Challenge of 'Have fun' and used the sketch over at Friday Sketchers. In my haste to get this card done I totally forgot the flowers around the oval. You know what....!!!!! I like it simple so am leaving it that way. Babbling. Sorry.

Now big news is that Simply Betty Challenges are having a DT call. So once a week on Friday you are required to make a card using the gorgeous stamps. So in good style I am giving it a go as I love these fabulous Emo's. This stamp is Betty and don't you just love her little dog. So cute. Have fun. Can't wait to see if you enter the DT call. I am also having a go at the Guest DT call for Simply Betty. Cross your fingers.

Spesch release day - Fairytale 2

Good morning everyone. How are we all...??? Good I hope.

Today we have another gorgeous release from Spesch Stamps. All the new stamps today have been designed by the very talented Sylvia. We have the gorgeous 'Little Elf', 'Forest Elf', 'Draggy' and 'Moon'. The later two are shown below. All of the DT have done an amazing job and I am so proud of them all. Enjoy. I will be tucked in bed (this is scheduled) and will release the stamps as soon as I can drag myself out of bed. Have a good one.

Something Digi Day

Evening. Well it is time for my Stamp Something DT creations. Yep I said creations. This week we have various digital company sponsors and I decided to do two for two different companies.

So the first project is a Halloween card with the gorgeous little Cecil. This stamp is called Mouse & Broom and is available from Digi Doodle. You can find him in the Halloween section under Holidays. The gorgeous flowers, ribbon and buttons were supplied from the blog candy I won from Amy. Thanks sweets.

Next up is a card made with the gorgeous Mae from Some Odd Girl. This is a new stamp just released called Kissy Mae. She is sweet and I just love their images.

Mercy's Sketch Challenge #87

TGIF.....!!!!! That is all I can say. It has been an exhausting week and I am so glad it is nearly over. Between kinder drop off and feeling very tired - keep forgetting to take my iron tablets - I just want to sleep all weekend long. I wish. Election day tomorrow, so us plebbs here in Australia have to go vote for our new Prime Minister. Hmmm am really wondering who is really fit to run this country of ours and I don't like either of the two leaders of the main parties. Oh well gotta vote. It is compulsory here in Australia if you are over the age of 18yrs or you get a fine. How silly is that....????!!!! Anyway. On to my card.

I have been meaning to join in with one of Mercy's sketch Challenges for a while but time always seems to get away from me but this week I was able to put something together with the gorgeous Fathom by Sweet November stamps for All That Scraps. She is wonderful to colour and the little sea horses are the cutest ever.

Colouring Pink

Good morning everyone. It is my Mad for Markers day today. This month at M4M we have a Colouring Pink challenge. I thought I would print out a Spesch Stamps stamp- The White Queen as she has a lovely dress. I made her very pink - one of my favourite colours.

I made this card with the sketch from Oh, Alice! challenge. It is a fabulous sketch. Hope you get some inspiration from my card.

Good morning again everyone. It is hump day and also The Lollipop Ladies next challenge. This fortnight our inspirational picture is this gorgeous cupcake. The added extra is: Ruffles. Hmmm love that icing. I took the cupcake and the gorgeous pink icing colour as my inspiration. Hope you find some inspiration from this card.

Sarah Kay madness

Morning everyone. Is it Friday already. I think that time just doesn't go fast enough during the week. I wish we had a three day weekend instead of two. What do you reckon...??? Friday, Saturday and Sunday should be our weekends....LOL. Enjoy babble.

I thought I would show you all the three cards I submitted to the Australian Papercraft and Cardmaking magazine. I thought I would purchase some Sarah Kay stamps from The Stamp Spot and submit the subsequent cards to the mag. I loved how they turned out. I used some sketches from Hanna's sketches and decorated the middle with the same sketch. This DP is perfect for these stamps. So soft and feminine. Hope you like.

Afternoon everyone. What a wonderful weekend I had with my parents here. I really do miss them. Wish I could see them more but not to be.

I thought I would do this Sketch Saturday sketch. I also used one of the Kenny K images to go in to the challenge this week at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz with a theme of 'Bold and Bright' and gotta say that is my favourite so far.
