A Spoon Full of Sugar 54

This week at A Spoon Full of Sugar they have a wonderful sketch by Sonja. I had lots of fun doing this card. I love sketches so this was wonderful. Hope you like.

----------------------------------------------------------
My boys are at daycare today so I have lots of time to make stuff. My little miss is home but she doesn't take much to entertain although it is getting harder to keep her occupied. I have had a couple people ask me when I have time to do my cardmaking - I do it all at night as soon as my kids go to bed. That is why most of my photos are so dark because I take photos when it is night time and I don't have a good light source.

Hope you all enjoy your day.

Stamp with fun #9

Stamp with fun #9 - Not a card. I made this gorgeous little card holder which is a take on the mini magazine holder. I got the template/instructions from Sunflower Stamping. I thought it was wonderful. It holds cards that are 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Check it out - the instructions are pretty simple but don't make the mistake I did and make sure it all fits together properly (I had a huge overlap).

All products used here are from Stampin' Up.

Products: Trendy Trees stamp set; Pale Plum, Bashful Blue & Whisper White; Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip & Versamark ink; Doublesided tape; bone folder; ruler; Scallop circle punch.

Magnolia Down Under challenge #14

Magnolia Down Under challenge #14 - Moving to the country.
I had so much trouble with this one. I embossed Tilda with clear embossing pen but when you put it on it is blue (at least on the alcolhol based markers) and it doesn't go clear unfortunately so I had to stamp her face again and just stick over the blue face. LOL. I wanted to put Magnolia trees in there but I left it to last and they just didn't turn out so I just cut them out. It was a bit disaster really. But here is my card - mountain and sky in the background. Not too happy with it but I just can't be fagged doing it again.

Products: Magnolia stamp; SU Trendy Trees stamp; SU Basic Black ink; Versamark ink; SU clear embossing powder; markers; SU Whisper white & Baja Breeze card; SU So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Pixie Pink & Chocolate chip ink; sponges; Orange card (don't know brand).

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Open Theme

At Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week's challenge is Open Theme. For my first ATC as Guest DT I thought I would do an ATC as a thanks to the Tilda & Friends crew. Thanks for making me a Guest DT this month. I feel very priviledged.

The Facts:
ATC is short for Artist Trading Card. These little works of art should be traded with fellow artists or given away, but never sold. The size must be 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches, or in metric 64mm x 89mm, and can be made in landscape or portrait.

At Tilda and Friends we like to use our ATCs as toppers for other projects, as well as swapping them with friends. We now allow you to use any kind of art work on your ATC as long as the overall feel is 'CUTE' - that includes downloaded images, decoupage, stamping, and anything else that fits with the weekly themes!

How easy it that. Come on, join us for a play. I swear it is so easy - all you need to do is chose some scrap paper that you may have laying around and make it into a beautiful ATC with a cute image. That's it. Anyway I am babbling.

Products: The Greeting Farm stamp; Memento ink; Markers; SU Raspberry Tart DSP; paper scissors; Dimensional Magic; Dimensional dots.

We hope you will come and join in the fun with us.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp #9 - Sketch

Good morning again everyone. You will never guess what I was singing the whole time I was making this card. LOL. "Follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road, follow, follow....". I seriously couldn't get it out of my head. Now, of course, it is running through my head again. Hehehe. Okay on to the challenge. This week at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Friday challenge there is a great sketch to follow. Of course, one part of your card must be a digital element - my Dorothy Anya is a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm .

The actual card itself is only 5x5" as I printed Dorothy and Toto a little small but it still looks good. With the 'Yellow Brick Road' I scored the So Saffron card with my bone folder but you can't see that well as I went over the lines with a marker to make it darker. Hope you like it.

The Next Level #1 & My first announcement

Good morning everyone. I couldn't help myself and had to come on ASAP this morning and tell you all my first announcement. So here it is.....!!!! For the month of June I am a Guest DT for Tilda & Friends ATC challenge. Woot woot. I am so very excited. I will come back on later today with my first ATC.

Here is my entry for this weeks The Next Level challenge. On this challenge you have to have a Lollipop flower on your creation (tutorial to make them is on The Next Level blog) and also a window/peek hole. I decided to start with a card (as usual). It was my first card like this and I really enjoyed making it - although next time I do make one I will make sure I don't put chipboard on the front and cut all circles with a die instead of some of them by hand. But I still love the way it turned out. Hope you like.

Products; Magnolia stamp; Memento ink; markers; Bazzill card; K&Co Wild Raspberry DSP; Chipboard; MM brads; Clear acetate; SU Choc Chip ribbon; 1" & 1 1/4" circle punch; Glimmer Mist; SU Close to Cocoa marker.

Good morning

Thought I would show you this morning the second card I made for The Greeting Farm Gardeners call. I definately didn't make it this time but I will certainly give it a go next time round in August. Gotta love TGF stamps. I am in love with them. Not much to the card. I used Washington Apple DSP again. I love this DSP. It is so summery. I got a chance to use one of my Nesties too which is a bonus. One of the good things about TGF stamps is they fit perfectly in the Nesties shapes. Anyway I am babbling.

Hope we have a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone. I thought I would show you a card I made for the Gardeners call at The Greeting Farm. I am presuming that I didn't make it, as I haven't heard anything so I thought I would show you one of the cards I made for the call. The theme was Yellow & Orange. I love the new Miss Anya's so the Summer theme was easy with Miss Shine. Hope you like it.
