Magnolia Down Under Challenge #7

This weeks theme is 'Sepia'

How hard is this theme. Gosh it took me awhile to figure out what paper etc to use - but pretty quick in Mick's standard. "Did you just make that..??" LOL Seems I can make a card quicker than both of us realized.

Hope you like this card.

Okay it is Easter. The kids had a great time eating chocolate first thing in the morning. We had an easter egg hunt in the lounge room - a little too wet outside to be hiding eggs. LOL. They want to eat eat eat chocolate but at least they aren't as bad as I was as a kid and used to eat so much I would make myself sick.

Have a great day

Sold to Karen

Products used: Magnolia stamp purchased from HeavenScent; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Brown card (don't know the make); Teresa Collins Journal It paper; Markers; Kaisercraft wood flourish, flowers & Pearls; Dimensional dots.

  6. WOW this is stunning - it's a fresh take on the sepia - a modern version of a vintage theme!
Sorry I caused everyone problems with the theme - but the end results are certainly worth it!!

Sounds like you've had a lovely Easter. The weather here in Wales, UK has been glorious today, my daughters and I had a funtime with our egg hunt too and have eaten far too much chocolate, but hey, who can resist chocolate...lol!!! xx vicki xx

  13. Thanks so much for the kind words. Will let you all know that the wings in the background is actually just a pattern (for lack of better word) on the paper. It is from the Teresa Collins Journal It range that I cut into a 6x6' piece. It does look like a stamp - wish I could buy it somewhere - or maybe you can. Hmmm don't know. LOL. Trace
